Placed a curbside order online and clicked "I'm Here" on my app when I arrived and no one came out to give me my food. After 15 minutes I went inside and picked up my food that had been sitting on the counter for at least 10 minutes. All of my ice cream was melted and my food was cold. They also did not add on bacon and mayo to my burger that I paid extra for. I also paid for a large soda and received a medium. read more

Culver's is a classic stop for any vacation if you don't have it where you live. The Wisconsin cheese curds are to die for with there thick sauces. There pretzel bites as amazing as well. They have one of the best kids meals I have tried with their free custard included. They always have great deals to get free custard that is better than ice cream. They are classic for their butter burgers with great French fry's. They have a good selection of drinks and sauces. The service is good with there had delivering it to your table. The Reuben sandwich is disgusting. LIttle to no sauerkraut, even less swiss cheese and the rye bread was GREASY. How do you make a Reuben sandwich on rye bread GREASY? My fingers were covered in grease and I could only take two bites. What I did taste was sorely disappointing and nasty. Two stars, it was hot. That is it, it was hot. Stopped here for a single butter burger with tomato, lettuce, and ketchup and one scoop of special seasonal chocolate Reese's ice cream. Service was polite, friendly, fast. We pulled forward in the drive thru line and a number on a post-it note was placed on our mirror, which allowed staff to quickly locate appropriate cars to match with orders and be on our way within minutes. All orders are fresh and made-to-order, so the wait is typically 5-10 minutes. Ice cream (custard) was rich and creamy with huge chunks of Reese's cup included in and on top of the scoop. Yes, the Butterburgers are great and what they are known for, but trust me when I tell you the star of this place is the Strawberry Fields salad that is only available in the summer. (Crisp mixed greens with our grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, fresh strawberries, bleu cheese crumbles, topped with lightly salted pecans. Get it with the Raspberry vinaigrette) It is a joy to be able to come to a fast food place and get something not only delicious but healthy. Six employees at the counter and one register open? The dining room is a total disaster, not a clean table in site. Alright going in I wasn't sure what to think about this place. I have had them twice here are my thoughts. 1 the food is actually pretty good. It has a steak burger like a steak and shake. Fries aren't bad either. Cheese Kurds are really good to. Service is good. U order at the counter and they give u a number and they relieved it to u. For ambiance there really isn't much. Looked at eating at Culvers in Jeffersonville for a couple weeks; especially with Lent approaching and a hunger for fish. As I arrived the drive through was totally full; a line of cars all the way around the store; so that was my sign to do carry out. Surprisingly I found an open parking space as 1 just pulled out. As I walked to the door I seen the restaurant was packed inside as well. Is mostly a nice sign the food is good when you so much business. Went in and it was crowded as well, so took about 5 minutes to place order. The staff was really hustling about and people kept coming in. I did have to wait about 10 minutes for my order but inside was better then sitting in car at drive through. Ordered cod fish plates, 3 piece each, little more expensive but we don't mind leftovers. Grabbed my order and headed home. Everything was nice and hot, fries started to cool since it was about 15 - 20 minute drive but they packed it nicely to hold the heat in. Everything was very tasty and the sides were very decent proportions and adequate amounts of tarter sauce. At least where I'd say I needed more. I will be back in the coming time frame for my fish. Today was the SECOND time that I waiting in the drive-thru for my food for 45+ mins! Both times, I walked inside to asked why I haven't gotten my food (5+ people behind me had), and they tell me "my food wasn't made" (skipped my order entirely). ITS CULVERS. We went at dinner time and it was busy, which is usually a good sign! We got deluxe burgers, cheese curds, and onion rings. Everything was fresh and came out so quickly! Bad experience in drive thru jeffersonville location. Fish sandwich was bad greasy, got a mile away to find I was missing a burger and fry. Called the store and someone posing as a manger actually argued with me about the fish sandwich being greasy. Not the experience I have received at other stores. Came in to get the flavor of the day: Snickers swirl. Supposed to be chocolate and vanilla frozen custard swirled together with Snickers mixed in, but looks like I just got vanilla. I ordered a mini, but container looked pretty big, like a short size instead. I checked later and found out that it actually was a mini. So I guess the mini is a full scoop, which is quite generous... and over 400 calories. :o The Snickers bits were hard and frozen and kind of chewy and tasted a bit weird and stuck to my teeth. Kind of a weird texture against the creaminess of the custard. Usually I like nuts and stuff in my ice cream, but this one was just a strange combination. At least the custard was good. read more

Always what you order. Service is prompt and polite. The burgers can be a bit greasy, but they are butter burgers. Skip the fries and go for the Cole slaw. Noise is ok, TVs set to spectrum. Over all ok. Only suggestion, move the straws and lids next to the soda dispenser. read more

Advertising works. Prior to retiring several years ago, I'd eaten at Culver's in Wisconson and Minnesota several times. This was way before they opened any stores in this area (Culver's is based in Wisconsin). Most of my stops back then were either for a quick snack/lunch while doing sales calls in the area. My experiences were mostly positive. Once Culver's opened in this area, we would occasionally stop in for a frozen custard. For no particular reason, we just never really made them one of our regular go to spots. I do seem to remember when this location first opened, they were so busy, at times you couldn't even find a parking spot. I feel pretty sure that's why we shied away from going there. Back to today. My wife and I are big fans of fried fish. With Lent approaching, Culver's has been running TV ads featuring their White Cod Fish. We decided to give their fish a try. Both ordered the two piece fish dinner (to go) which was a little over $12 each. I thought that was a little pricey for a place like Culver's. However, once we received our meals we were happy we ordered the dinners. The fish dinner comes with 2 pieces of fish, fries and Cole slaw. Additionally, the sides are very generous. I subbed the steamed broccoli for my fries. The portion was nice size. I also loved the Cole slaw. It's a mayonnaise based slaw but was not heavy or thick. Once again a very nice portion. My wife also liked the Cole slaw but thought her fries were just average. The fish was two battered filets. The meat was stark white with a very slight sweetness. We both enjoyed our meals and would definitely order it again. Finally, my wife found a hair on one of her fish filets. Additionally, the way they package the to go dinners, the fish soaks through the very thin paper liner. The batter on the bottom gets soggy and sticks to the paper. My wife had to keep peeling soggy paper pieces off her fish before eating it. I fared a little better due to me moving my fish off its original resting place and turning it over. I would suggest Culver's use a heavier grade of paper or something like wax/parchment paper to line their to go boxes. read more

Generally, I can always count on Culver's for consistent food quality and dining experience, but last night's visit to the Jeffersonville, IN store was a completely different experience. Despite the restaurant appearing fully staffed, there was trash (napkins, cups, condiment holders, etc.) on the floor throughout the entire restaurant. The staff delivering meals simply kept walking over the trash without picking it up, acting as through it was invisible to them. Additionally, when my food arrived at a wait longer than normal, the fries were hot but the deluxe hamburger was cold (a first) and the bun was very stale. I decided to order a shake "to go" for the long drive ahead.....a mistake since it took 20 minutes for them to bring it out. This was extra annoying as I was trying to get to Chicago that evening on schedule. During my lengthy wait I watched 5-8 different employees continue to walk over the trash on the floor time and time again. Last trip to this location for sure. Awful service, which is disappointing since this is our favorite place to get custard. I don't know when or why they started this new habit of taking someone's order through the drive through then give them a number and have them wait to the side. However, the other we went through the drive and ordered two concrete custard's and we're given a number and told to wait to the side. 15 min had passed and we were still waiting on our custards, it seemed busy so we have them the benefit of the doubt. It wasn't until I started noticing that cars that arrived after us were getting their food orders given to them before us receiving our custards. At that point I flagged one of the employees down and asked how much longer for our custard since we've been waiting for over 20 min at that point. She took our number and told she'd be right back. Not 2 min later a different person came out and handed us the two orders, before we took off my wife looked at hers and she noticed that they had not put in any of the toppings that she had ordered. I grabbed her cup and was able to catch the employee before he was back into the restaurant. I told him that we were missing the toppings on this order, he asked what were they; and I told him. He comes back puts the cup in my face and says "is that good enough for you". I don't understand why I was given this disrespectful behavior as I was trying to be as patient and friendly as possible considering they were busy and I understand they must've missed the order. This experience really soured this location for me and I don't think I will be returning any time soon. read more

This location has a long way to go. I'm not sure what's happened there, but it doesn't come close to the Corydon location. There are some nice folks who bring the food to your table, but otherwise I can't say much positive. It just doesn't feel like other Culver's. Ever since it's opened it seems like the drivethru just can't work out the kinks. read more
