Everything was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. The fish itself had an amazing crunch when you cut into it. Like the most crispiest thing ever. My wife's plate....was not that great. Noodles lacked flavor and the chicken as well. The portions are honestly huge for one person. If you plan to eat hurt for a quick bite, I recommend sharing the combo plates. Before I forget, the Mac salad was amazing! The employees were nice and quick to get the food out! The restaurant itself was clean.

The taste and texture wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I would consider karaage, or "firecracker", either. The description in the app said "boneless fried chicken mixed with housemade sauce... topped with spicy mayo sauce". Well, I'll admit, that describes it, but it's just not karaage, and the sauce wasn't that spicy. It tasted like their Korean fried chicken topped with buffalo sauce mixed with mayo. I was expecting the chicken to be "lighter", since traditional karaage doesn't use a batter, and perhaps more of a Sriracha style spicy sauce. Like I said, not bad, just not spicy karaage. The service is always fast and the food and value is good, so I'll keep trying anything new... and hoping.

I placed my order (Junior Jumbo Jack, 2 tacos, and onion rings) thru the Jack app at 8:01pm, with a scheduled pickup time of 8:12pm; pretty normal. I live less than a mile away, so normally take my time to drive down and will get there in less than 10 minutes. I typically will just give them my name at the drive thru, and my order will be handed to me as soon as I get to the pickup window; in and out in less than a couple of minutes. Tonight, however, I got to the drive thru at 8:10pm and gave them my name. There were only 2 cars in front of me. It took 20 minutes for them to process the 2 cars and it was 8:30 when I pulled up to the window. There was only 1 employee working the front; servicing both the inside counter and the drive thru, with 1 other person in the kitchen. They were obviously, very shorthanded, but the person behind the counter appeared to have only 2 speeds; slow, and overwhelmed. It took her almost 10 minutes before she even came to the window because she was serving another customer at the inside counter. By the time I received my food, it was 8:42 (over 30 minutes from the time I got to the drive thru, and the originally scheduled pickup time). I actually called the number for the District Manager that was displayed on the sign at the window, but got a recorded message, and then hung up on. What the heck is going on with Jack's?? At least the food was hot and tasted good, for what it was.

I drove into the drive through seeing the big sign for $3.99 for Quarter Pounder and ordered two only to be find out that the price is not $3.99. The cashier behind the drive through counter was adamant that it was not $3.99 each. That while talking on the her microphone whom I suppose was the next customer. She then continued to insist it was not $3.99 even after I told her it was right there on their drive through menu board. So I canceled the order and parked right into their parking lot. Only to get the same result from the workers behind the regular counter. They all insisted that it was not $3.99 and that they had been charging the regular price all day (it was around 5 pm already). I told them that the price was right on their big poster right on their window. Finally, they came to the realization that they were wrong. And after all that trouble just to order the Quarter Pounders they did not offer anything for my trouble such as free fries and soda which another McDonald's location did for taking a half hour to get my order ready. The workers here need some customer service training. Before insisting that the customer is wrong they should check with their manager who obviously may have dropped the ball on this one, too. What is disturbing is that a lot of customers were overcharged about a dollar for each Quarter Pounder sold that day. At sixteen, my initial and very best training in providing great customer service was at McDonald's. To this day, I remember the video training and the commitment to the QSC model. That model, Quality, Service, and Cleanliness was drilled into every new employee. I never forgot it and I still live by it in my interactions every day. Recently, I am disappointed that the service component in customer service is sorely lacking or absent. It was also fun to go to McDonald's, not only as an employee, but as a customer. Just today, I stopped to get a quick lunch and went to drive-thru. The service was stale, and I never got the impression that the person taking my order or the person delivering my food to me was eager to provide great customer service. A smile, a thank you, a please come again - not heard once. Those "little things" are a valuable marketing and great experience tool and make customers remember the location and business over others. Like a dirty environment? Like having your property stolen, smelly bench seats, drugged out crazing harassing you? How about vagrants taking cups out of the trash and stealing sodas? or abandoned kids running and screaming like lunatics? or the highest McD prices on the island? If thats not enough just add some rude service as if certain employees were doing you a favor... Not to worry, none of the cameras works so no need to ask to look at the video when your items are stolen. But wait there is more - how about mold and rain coming through the ceiling? Not to forget this is also pet friendly, bring in your dog (any kind, no service dog pretense here) and place on the counter as desired. And even though there are no shirt no shoes no service signs it dont matter. Good work owner, good work managers, good work McD corp who obviously dont care. This place is full of drug addicts and drug dealers. Saw at least two drug deals going down right by the entrance today. I feel sorry for the addicts but there a families with young children and teens from nearby schools who also frequent this place. When management turns a blind eye to this type of illegal activity taking place daily on the premises, it is a huge turn-off for parents with young kids. I am also annoyed that the owner of this McDonalds has asked the workers to charge for a simple substitution such as as ranch sauce in place of tartar sauce - very, very manini. read more
