Deanna especially is not only a gorgeous young lady, but really seems to know her stuff & looks like a hard worker. The customers however could use to learn some manners. I don't normally yelp fast food nor do I give McDonald's that super high rating but this one stands out. It is pretty fantastic. The people who work here are really friendly and you can tell that they take pride in their work. The manager appears to love his job and willing to bus tables even though it's probably not his job. I have seen him do it on several occasions and usually w a big smile. The people who work the register are super nice. One man gave my daughter a happy meal you just bc he was a nice man. He made her smile really big. The food comes out pretty efficiently and the facilities are pretty clean. This is an outstanding McDonald's. read more

McDonald's, you're not worth a pot to piss in. Wendy's has a more varied and interesting menu that includes real value with the 4-for-$4 deal. Even struggling Burger King beats you hands down - both in the superior taste of its flame-broiled burgers and its breakfast croissants, as well as in the value department with its ubiquitous coupons. Jack in the Box kicks your ass with its variety, value and 24-hour service. You don't even have a dollar menu anymore, or anything close to it. All you've got left are childhood memories of family togetherness and good times with childhood sports teammates from long-passed decades that are as relevant to 2019 as a stale fart from the 1970s. I'd say that your any-size $1 fountain drinks would qualify as a good value if it weren't that 1.) they're always watered down, and 2.) you refuse to adopt those fancy, new DIY pop-dispensers, each with hundreds of flavor combinations, that most of your competition installed YEARS ago. You had a good thing going with the craft-sandwiches that you abruptly discontinued not too long ago. Even though they were expensive, they were at least tasty, unlike your nasty, gristly quarter pounders and bread-heavy Big Macs that cost about the same. I've regretted those few occasions when I've used your coupons, because most of the time I still feel like I've paid too much. So why the hell is the density of McDonald's stores at least twice that of their nearest competitors? Your ultra-slow but dependable wifi is one reason, but, like Dick's Hamburgers, it's mostly the nostalgia and stupidity of your pathetically loyal customer base. read more

On a scale of 1-10 (1 being low, 10 being high) this McDonald's managed to score a SOLID 0! For one, McDonald's is a fast-food restaurant...meaning that you would expect to get your food quickly. Does 20+ minutes sound like quick to you? Even had to ask where the order was at that point to get them working on it. And even then THEY SCREWED UP THE ORDER (not once, but TWICE) causing a refund for one item to be issued. Why would you go to a drive through? To save time, so that you avoid getting out of the car, right!!!!! The folks at McDonalds Kirkland don't agree with that. I went into the drive through, ordered Apple pies, hash browns and fries. This seems to be pretty straightforward, but, I was told to wait for 3-4 mins. Upon waiting for 5 minutes, when nobody came with my order I went inside and checked. I was told that the fries are being made as we speak. I waited again for 5 mins and had no choice but to check. Then, I was told, there are no hash browns. They asked me if they can give fries instead. At that point, I told them to cancel the order and refund the money. 5/25/19: Dishonest Employee!!! Used drive thru...ordered a sausage muffin & 2 sausage muffins w/ egg. Used a BOGO receipt total was $5.50. Drive up to pay, cashier said it was $10.50. Did not question due to long line; gave $11.00 received $0.50 change. Reviewed receipt after picking up order & receipt was $5.50. Spoke to Mgr who reviewed the till, but did not show overage. Slow slow slow service consistently during morning hours (as a walk-in customer). Took 10 min waiting in line to just order coffee, then another 10 min waiting for it, even though others who came in later were served first. Would have been faster to go to the Starbucks nearby. Female who was in charge (not sure if manager) was rude and defensive about the long wait for the order. When she finally called the number of the order, I was tending to a senior citizen around the corner from the counter and did not hear her. I had repeatedly checked on the order at the counter, was told it was soon coming, but then I had to make sure my senior relative was ok at the table. She used the standard quote they learned in "management training" in response to a valid complaint about delays: "Have a nice day"---only it's accentuated with sarcasm. read more

This was the worst experience i have ever had at a McDonalds. First of all, the tables and floors were trashed! Second, when I tried to get a refund because they only had one apple pie but already charged me for two, it did not show a refund on my phone app. That means I probably did not even get one! I've been through this McDonalds many times, since it's not far from my home, and it has generally been the kind of consistent, indifferent experience that one would expect. Until tonight's trip through the drive-thru. I saw a package deal listed for $10 and attempted to order it. The order taker didn't know what I was talking about, and told me to order something else. I said, I'm ordering from your posted menu. He argued and insisted I order something else, telling me, the menu is wrong. Um, what? It's posted, right here. If its posted you should honor it. The manager came out and removed the posted item from the menu, telling me it was no longer available, and to order when I was ready. At this point, I decided I'd rather just skip it, because, really, who needs McDonalds that much? I told him we were going elsewhere. He proceeded to argue with me about how he wasn't being rude, it was just that it was simply not possible for him to enter that deal in his system. I have difficulty believing that, or believing that he couldn't come up with some way of honoring a posted price, or that he and his staff couldn't find a more polite way of admitting and rectifying their error. I understand that compromises come along with buying at low price points, but flat-out rude customer service should never be one of them. read more

Why is everyone giving such low reviews? This place is typical of McDonald's but they go above and beyond in customer service! We came here during the big winter storm when half the neighborhood had lost power and came here to warm up and get something warm to eat. The employees let everyone use their power outlets to charge their phones and were really nice about it. Aside from that, their food is fresh and most of the workers are nice. This is the worst McDonald's. The management are kids that do not know customer service. I was served stale food that tasted like it was from the late lunch rush served at 8 pm and it was cold. I went through the drive through, so had to turn around and go inside , when I explained this to the manager, he made rude comments and ridiculed me for bringing it to his attention. After which he took his time making fresh fries and nuggets. I hope the franchise owners reads these reviews and fires all of the employees. There were other employees making rude comments so I decided to film them. They immediately shut up and I got my food after 15 minutes of waiting. This isn't the first time I had problems. Another time I ordered a Big Mac got home and there was only one beef patty, had to go all the way back to endure their employees rude comments. No hope for this location in Kirkland on 124th. O.K. O.K. to my vegan friends I go to McDonalds sometimes the Big Mac is the bomb of fast food sandwiches really a comfort food in some ways and usually very fresh at this location. However on at least 5 occasions I pulled away from the drive through window only to discover that my fries, straws, various sandwiches, napkins, ketchup was not in the bag as paid for and requested. Sorry but no go. Always check you're bag here before leaving or your feediing the help. Not that there is anytthing wrong with that::) Other reviews here are probably McDonalds employees not me. Oh yeah do not pull up to the drive in window on a bike and request service you will be denied unless your bike has a motor on it. I tried baseball cards in my spokes this summer but no go. One would think all McDonalds were the same, but one would then be oh so wrong! This McD's is clean and serves the usual Mickey D fare (say what you will, but I Iove their salads and big $1 Cokes). But the drive-thru could be improved. For one, at times it is nearly impossible to clearly hear the speaker/order-taker at times. Like, it can be embarrassingly difficult to hear and understand each other. And, even though the staff is usually nice, it can be hit or miss. Last time, while trying to pay at the drive-thru's second window, I searched and searched for a penny in my wallet (I was one cent off the cost of my meal). The line is forming behind me, getting ever longer. I told the guy at the window that I was looking for a penny, I was one cent off. Now, in this situation, most establishments would say to forget about the penny, no? I mean, most places even have a small plate of extra pennies by the cash for this type of scenario. And the line of cars behind me is growing and growing as I scrounge through my purse now for one measly cent. I couldn't believe the guy didn't tell me to just forget the penny! Finally I just handed him a $20 bill and said to just break it. But this whole experience, as petty as it was, left an impression on me. Just odd. read more

Starving, I just swallowed the last bite of the worst burger I have eaten in more than 50 years. The Big (Bad) Mac in question was purchased 15 minutes ago at the McDonald's on 124th, off of 85th Street in Kirkland, Washington on 1/19/2019 at 7:15 pm. The burger was accompanied by "fries" that bore no resemblance to French fries, potatoes, or food of any kind. Best of all, the "fries" and the burger were lukewarm when I opened the bag in my car after leaving the "restaurant." A description of the burger is in order. Three minutes after purchase, the soggy buns were dissolving, unable to constrain the sandwich. The burger itself was approximately 1/16 of an inch thick, burned on one side and cold on the other. Aside from that, the burger had no flavor. The only taste input was supplied by the unmelted "cheese" product and the cold "special sauce." The lettuce was outside the "burger" in the box. There was no pickle. The consistency of the burger prevented eating by hand in the car, requiring a spoon to handle the soggy blob a few minutes later at home. Unfortunately, this allowed inspection of the ingredients. It is my conclusion that the bread used to fabricate the buns is of extremely low quality. The so-called "beef" was thinner than sliced baloney and the cold "special sauce" was from a vat of cheap Thousand Island dressing. A pickle would have helped mask the ugliness. There was no pickle. My first job, in 1966, was at a McDonald's, so I know my fries. The "fries" I just forced down were horrific. Thin, cold, and barely salted, they were not worth more $0.10 a pound. The napkin had more flavor. There was no salt in the bag and there was no pickle. A soon to be former fan of McDonald's, I am shocked at the garbage being proffered at this store. McDonald's should revoke the franchise, if appropriate, or (if this is a corporate store) dismiss the manager with extreme prejudice. Otherwise, rename the pathetic sandwich the "Nasty Little Mac" and sell napkins as snacks. In any case, consumers are advised to avoid this toxic waste dump if possible. Eating cardboard would be cheaper and healthier. Avoid from this horrible establishment if possible. If there's a dumpster nearby, it's possible. read more

Usually no problems here and I rarely get lunch but today I am very dissatisfied as they didn't give me a straw for my tea AND I asked for sesame seed bun but they used the artisan bun instead. I've been to many McDonald's. I came here again after renovation. It's all modern looking now. But that doesn't compensate for how badly it is now run. The automated cashier didn't work properly as in the end, it asked me to go to the cashier to complete the payment. At the cashier nobody was there to assist me. I stood there and nobody cared. I had to call out their attention after a while. One of the employees said, "what?" He should learn some manners. It took a long, long time for me to get my order. After I sat down to eat my burger, I saw they forgot to add bacon to the bacon quarter pounder cheese. They made the wrong sandwich. So I had to ask them to fix it. And nobody seemed to care to promptly assist me at the counter without being called out. More time wasted. This is not usual of McDonalds. Usually it comes fast. It's fast food, after all. The McDonald's in Redmond is so much better. The ones in Bellevue are fine as well. This one location in Kirkland just sucks. Management should be working on improve on the very basics of a fast food service. Forget all the modern stuff the renovation brought. read more

I went through the drive thru today and sadly it was another bad experience. It is the fourth of July and i wanted just a quick burger very simple or so i thought. i pulled up to the Order Board and speaker. Having had plenty of experience in the drive thru, i know you have to be specific to get the product the way you want. I told the man taking the order that i wanted a double cheese burger plain, add mayonnaise. That's all i wanted on the burger was Mayonnaise. He snapped back that is not plain if you add mayonnaise. i said back to him that is how i want the burger and that is all i wanted on the burger. He just responded back drive to window one and i will have your total. i got the the window and the young black man at the drive thru window really needed an attitude adjustment. He provided zero customer service. and did not say one word to me. What he did proceed to do was make me angry and i drove to the pick up window. if i had seen a manager in or around the pick up window i would have called them over, and told them about this horrible experience. Terrible dining room service. Stopped going to this location because there are so many people behind the counter doing nothing, If you walk in and there is no one ahead of you, the staff ignores you. Even the people who appear to be managers or supervisors. The last time I was in, there were 4 people behind the counter. Two appeared to be dealing with a situation with the register. Two others were standing back, but watching. I walked in and the manager/supervisor looked up and said nothing, Neither did anyone else. Then another worker came in, looked at me, then looked away and said nothing. After standing there unacknowledged for a few minutes, I walked out. I don't think they even noticed. Unfortunately, this type of service is typical almost every time I have been there. Also, every time I go in, my small orders take several minutes to pull together, even if I'm the only one in the dining room.
