I got a Ube matcha, guava cheesecake donut and a MG Colada w/tapioca. The MG colada was not great, it was $9 with topping and tasted bland. The Ube matcha $8 was delicious, I got 50% sweet and it was still very sweet so next time I'll try 0-25%. The guava cheesecake donut was my favorite! The filling was so creamy, light and fluffy. I like how there was lots of filling with not too much dough. Service was pretty quick and the staff were very helpful with recs since this was our first time.

I love love love this Boba shop. I go out of my way to visit and grab something when I'm in the area. I got the sapphire moonlight milk tea with Boba and it was so light and refreshing. The staff are so sweet and chatted with me about the ingredients of the drinks when I picked it up. The shop is well decorated but it's more grab & go, It's a great beverage to pick up and then walk along the water.

I wanted boba and found it on Yelp. It has high rating so I went. Cute little spot in Kirkland downtown. There is a line especially on nice, warm, sunny days. I had the honey jasmine lemon tea with boba & jelly and it was perfect. The cashier was very informationally helpful. I was afraid it would be a bit sour like other places, but it was not. I finished in like less than 10 mins.

We used to live in Woodinville and this was one of our go-to boba spots. We stopped by the Kirkland location on our last visit. I got the ube matcha with boba and it was super fancy, there were real chunks of ube. I would have probably wanted the jasmine milk tea instead but was really tempted by this combo. The Jasmine Green Tea was so strong and tasty as well. Definitely a good boba spot to come back to. This spot was so cute, street parking. Staff was super friendly.

Cute boba place all pink. Host was so friendly and gave suggestions on what I would like and try it. She made me a latte with black sesame seemed and mango poppers. Second order was Thai jasmine tea with boba. Both were so delicious and mine was a wonderful surprise.

Finally got to try bobae and it lived up to the hype! The service was super friendly and I liked the interior as well. I got their strawberry matcha latte and it was a nice balance! I got it less sweet because the strawberry already makes it pretty sweet. It was about $8 which is sadly the standard for matcha these days. Next time I'll have to try their pink boba

Gorgeous location and one of my favorite go-to boba shops! It's super cool of them to have so many keto options, and the keto nitro Thai is lovely. Whenever I have drinks delivered from here they are made pretty quick compared to most other cafes/boba shops.

Bobae is sooo amazing! Literally one of my absolute favorite boba spots. This location specifically is the best. Staff at this location are always so friendly and kind. They take their time making the drink beautiful and absolutely delicious all while having great conversations with their customers. I appreciate this location has outstanding customer service. To-go only with no seating or restrooms available. Menu is displayed on the front door, the wall, and near the register. I like all the pink and the wall with notes and pics from customers showing Bobae love! My favorite thing to order here is the Red, White, Matcha with boba as it's always so perfect. I am a big matcha lover and this place is real deal. They whisk the matcha in front of you and take their time to make the drinks tasty and pleasing to the eyes and stomach. I love their Ube drinks here as well and have tried the yummy Ube white chocolate chip cookie. The Iron Goddess Oolong tea is so good. Finally tried the Sapphire Moonlight drink with boba and it's one of my new favs! The boba quality is always 10/10 at this location. So tasty and perfect texture. Everything we have tried at Bobae has been a hit. Not only is the service amazing, so are the drinks :) Definitely will recommend and return. This Bobae location is the best!!

To be honest, we weren't expecting much out of Bobae since we've found that a lot of these more style-over-substance-type boba shops tend to serve drinks that look pretty, but aren't constructed very well. But, since we were in the area and YiFang down the street was unexpectedly closed, we decided our need for a sweet drink was greater than our trepidation. Usually we would only get a single drink from a new-to-us boba shop, but the menu actually had enough intriguing drinks that that we ended up getting two. Iced Bae Size Pandan Coconut Rice, 50% Sweet ($8.50) - We got this drink at 50% sweet due to the bobarista's recommendation, but the menu actually suggests full sweetness. I have to agree with the menu on this one - half sweet seemed to be barely sweet, maybe even less than 25% sweet at other shops. Otherwise, as the name suggests, this essentially just tastes like pandan syrup and coconut milk, with a bit of a salty cream mixed in from the cheese foam. There's plenty of purple rice on the bottom of the drink that adds a good bite to each sip. Pretty tasty drink. (4.5/5) Iced Bae Size NITRO OG Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Light Ice, w/ Boba ($8) - This drink is much better than I thought it would be. There's a surprisingly good tea flavor from this very creamy and rich drink. The sweetness at half is a bit too much, which is surprising given the sweetness level of the other drink. Perhaps it's because of them scooping some of the boba soak into the drink? Regardless, it's not that harsh fructose syrup-type sweetness that normally accompanies drinks at many other boba shops. It's neither chemically or fruity tasting at all, and instead is a nice mellow type of sweetness. The boba served at Bobae isn't bad at all. While it compresses pretty easily on the tongue, it's still pleasing to chew even though the bounciness isn't perfect. It must be soaked for a while in sugar syrup, because each pearl is covered in a good level of sweetness. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 We also saw some pastries from Origin Bakery being sold in the window, but ended up not ordering any since we had just finished lunch. That just makes it a priority for us to revisit in the near future! The quality of the drinks served at Bobae certainly surprised us. I do worry that consistency may be an issue, since I think they hand measure everything. The pricing is also a bit on the high side, similar to premium boba shops. The quality seems to be worth the price increase. With that being said, I currently have Bobae as a very high 4, on the cusp of being a 5. I will definitely be revisiting this and the other locations for more drinks. Note: The bobarista told us that the pastries are only available on the weekends. Bathrooms - None

Really friendly and helpful staff! I got the 800 folds brown sugar boba with less sweetness and boba. The less sweetness was perfect for me and the ingredients tasted very clean. The shop is small and modern but cute with some outdoor seating. Its located right in downtown Kirkland!

Bobae is a small family owned Boba shop in Kirkland. I believe they also have shops in Issaquah and Woodinville. They're quite busy and have a range of flavors to choose from. They have unique flavor combos that make it fun. However, the bobas were a tad too sweet for my liking. Apart from that, so fresh and delicious!

How I heard of this place: We were walking through Kirkland after enjoying a meal and decided the warm day needed bubble tea. Type of cuisine: Boba creations with many house-made flavors and ingredients to provide a softer, more "healthy" approach to the bubble tea you're accustomed to. Ambiance: Large floor to ceiling, garage style doors that are open to patrons walking up for their treats. Nowhere to sit, only take-away options are available in the cute, kawaii space that's been created. The counter is at the first third of the entire space, leaving the majority of room in the area where only one employee worked diligently to meet the hoards of orders present on this particular warm, spring day. What I ordered: We selected the Strawberry Cheesecake Cloud ($7.50) - "Indulge in strawberry sweetness and tangy cheesecap in this dessert that'll take you to the clouds." What I loved: The employee working on this bustling day, keeping her spirits high and joy noticeable truly made the experience of our visit on this day. The beverage was heavy, filling, lightly sweet and decadent. We loved the fresh ube that flavored sips with a soft texture and delicious flavor. Why I loved it: The employee. Cost: High

We are both a fan of ice cream so we were excited to find this place. The menu is pretty simple which makes ordering simple too. There are several ways to get your soft serve but we decided to get the soft serve with the upside down taiyaki which was so good! You can choose your soft serve with just one flavor but they offer a mix too. You can also choose what filling the taiyaki has. I chose the strawberry and matcha mix soft serve and then I chose a matcha cream filling. You are also able to add toppings after and I went with a Biscoff topping. The soft serve was not overly sweet and the flavors blended super well. The taiyaki was also nice and crisp and the cream filling was perfect. Overall, one of my favorite desserts I have had in a while. The service was also super fast and super friendly. There were not any seats inside so it makes it hard to eat there but we just enjoyed the ice cream in the car. I am excited to return soon!

Our group of five stopped in, after visiting the nearby lavender farm on a Saturday afternoon, with all of us loving it. It was a beautiful afternoon in the Pacific Northwest, and our son-in-law drove us to this shop when my wife's mom suggested we all go for ice cream (her treat). Nobody disagreed (duh). It is located in downtown Woodinville, with non-metered street parking being the norm. Serviced was great and it wasn't too busy, which was a good thing since the unusual flavors required a bit of sampling. My daughter and her husband got a 2 scooper ($8.95). The rest of us shared a flight ($13.95) which is a choice of SIX flavors in a banana split type dish. Quite a few of the offerings are Vegan (relying on pea proteins), and are very serious about eliminating cross contamination (dedicated scoops for these ice creams that are stored in a different freezer). There was outside seating, so their dog was able to sit with us as well. Out of the six flavors chosen (Vegan Soursop Sorbet, Pickle, Vanilla, Espresso Bean, Strawberry Balsamic, Death by Chocolate), I really liked the Espresso and Strawberry. The Pickle was definitely worth trying, and one could clearly taste the diced/minced pickle pieces throughout, and could actually taste the pickle juice squirting out a little bit as you bit into it. It's unusual and a seasonal flavor. After visiting, I learnt that the owner had graduated from the dairy program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which made me happy. Both my wife and I went to school there, and we raised our daughter in the Madison area, with many happy memories of eating both Babcock ice cream from the University Union and the Chocolate Shoppe (which is HQed there). I found it interesting that this store is located so close to the University of Washington, which I've always thought of as the second 'UW', to the primary UW in Wisconsin. But in reality, outside of the old Big Ten country (i.e. the Midwest), it looks like UW is thought of as Washington, with the domain uw.edu belonging to it, as well. Oh well...
