This is the most magical Disney McDonald's of my dreams! If I happen to have no lunch plans and find myself in the area, I will usually stop by even if it's just for a Diet Coke or a treat. It is much larger than your standard McDonald's and is located on Disney property close to animal kingdom and Coronado springs resort. Yes the menu is entirely the same (although occasionally I've noticed they may offer different happy meal toys), but I still think it is worth checking out. Even if just for a picture, this is a very fun McDonald's to experience and is a god send when you come back late from the parks and have nowhere else to eat! read more

1 STAR I understand Disney prices are going to be higher, but $75.63 for a Happy Meal, 3 McChickens, 2 cheeseburgers, 3 fries, and 3 drinks is absolutely excessive. That's not just "Disney pricing" -- that feels like an unreasonable markup for a McDonald's meal. This isn't a premium restaurant -- it's McDonald's. I don't mind paying a premium at Disney, but $75.63 for basic fast food is straight-up inflated pricing, especially when the food was COLD. If you haven't visited this McDonald's yet, you have to! This is a sustainable retail designed as a net zero energy restaurant. It generates enough on site renewable energy to offset its annual energy consumption. This building has more than 1000 solar panel installed and it supplemented by solar glass canopy panels. The building also includes large living green walls or vertical gardens. This helps to moderate temperature and improve air quality. This McDonald's location has been on my go to visit list for awhile now. I finally had a chance to stop by after visiting Magic Kingdom on a Saturday evening. The place was busy, but I just had to go inside and take a look! This location does accept McDonalds mobile application. I did have a code from the Monopoly game for a double cheeseburger. I also got a large coke to with it as well. The prices here are a little bit more expensive than other McDonald locations, but it was awesome to go visit. I did customize my cheeseburger for a plain cheeseburger with just pickles on it! The order was correctly assembled and the service was fast. I did enjoy my cheeseburger and the soda! Prices are high, no human interaction to order inside, special deals if you have the app. The drinks are the most surprising item because all size drinks are the same cost on the west coast. Traveling with a toddler it's always hard to find food they will eat. When we can't figure it out, McDonald's is the go to. That being said, we have visited a number of McDonald's during our travels. Honestly this is probably one of the best McDonalds we have been to. The seats and tables were clean and there were plenty of seating. The table we sat at was interactive, which kept our little guy very entertained. They have no register personal, but plenty of kiosks to order from. They also had a team member walking around asking how our food was and if we needed any more coffee. Food was hot and made to order. I'm not sure what else you can ask for from McDonalds. read more

Had the BEST service by Donna who was so cheerful and provided exceptional customer service! She assisted us on the kiosk and delivered our food. The bagel steak breakfast sandwich was the best I had at any location. The bagel was soft and the steak wasn't dry like other locations. The French vanilla iced coffee was fantastic as well. This location was very clean including the restrooms. If you're in the Disney bubble this is the McDonald's location you need to go to! For McDonald's, it's exactly what you think... but this one has main character energy. Like, why does the outside look like a Hilton Garden Inn had a situationship with Epcot? There are plants on the outside wall. A whole urban aesthetic. Staff was actually really nice too, But plot twist: there's a night shift legend who straight up does Disney impressions. With McDonald's being on the WDW resort, I thought it would be super convenient to stop and eat before we got to the parks. Well, it was the least magical part of my day, coming to this McDonalds. Staff, having personal conversations vs. helping and being attentive to their customers. Food was cold, my son nearly chipped his tooth after bitting into the biscuit he ordered. Neat looking building We have visited the drive-thru a few times and again a couple of nights ago, this time after leaving EPCOT. I don't think we will ever end up eating inside so figured I should just review our drive-thru experience. In the past we have encountered some long lines of cars but this visit there was almost no line at all. Nice. We placed our order through their machine, mine a quarter pounder w/cheese. It was easy to hear the person and they have a great display for you to see your order being entered. Once finished we drove to the first window to pay and the second window to pick up our food. The person directed us to pull over to the side and wait for the food. Several minutes later our food was brought out to us. We were annoyed by the wait, but also realized it could have been worse. We've been here before, and we enjoy coming here every time. It's big and bright. The solar panels charge the lights at night. If you want to work off calories, use one of the 2 outside exercise bikes. Seating is outside under fans or inside with high tech activities at some tables & air conditioning. You can order online in the app or one of the helpful staff will assist you at the order stations inside. There are lots of places to sit and eat. Food at McDonald's is consistent and good. I stop by twice a week and 50% of the time they get my simple order wrong. I get a double hamburger and coffee. Mostly give me a single burger. Coffee always no sugar taste. I had a good experience here. The restaurant was empty relative to the parking lot. I have no idea where all of the people were hiding. They have serval ordering kiosks when you walk in. It's a modern and sustainable version of your regular McDonald's. Food is consistent with other McDonald's, and service is mostly limited to order pick up since they use automated self-service kiosks for customers to place their orders. What's cool is the modern architecture, the games for kids, and the sustainability factor built into the core of the restaurant (solar panel rooftops!). Definitely worth a visit, but be prepared to pay a (somewhat) premium price for your food - they don't have any deals in the McDonald's app. read more

Leaving a four star review for a McDonald's was certainly not on my BINGO card, but here we are. To start, I can't remember the last time I've stepped foot in a McDonald's, but we had planned to meet out of town friends for mini golf next door at Winter Summerland and were rained out. Still wanting to spend time with our friends before they headed home, we had to come up with a plan B. Being that it was New Year's Eve, the Disney Resorts weren't really a viable option, so McDonalds it was. This McDonalds underwent a pretty impressive refurbishment; from the plant life to the bicycles that help power the electricity, the building is very "green." I was a little overwhelmed by all the self order stations, and didn't find the customization options to be very intuitive (you can't customize your meal until the last order screen), but once we got past that it was all smooth sailing. Despite it being busy, the restaurant was spacious and clean. We quickly found a seat and our food was delivered shortly after - exactly to our specifications and hot/fresh (at least as fresh as you can get with McDonalds). The employee that brought our food to the table thanked us for dining with them and asked us to please let him know if there was anything amiss with our order. As if that wasn't impressive enough, the manager came by and did a table touch. He checked on the quality of our food, asked if we needed any refills, and wished us a happy new year. He even sang the little "ba da da da da" jingle. After doing his table touches, he stood by the door and greeted everyone coming in/thanked everyone leaving. While McDonalds may not be a top quality experience, this location truly strives to stand out - and they did. read more

You would think a large McDonald's in the Disney area would understand service. Not this place. It was about 3 pm, and when we arrived in the drivethru there were only 3 cars ahead to order. We ordered a 20 piece nugget, large fry and 2 large unsweetened teas. Not a large order, right? We proceed to pay and go to the first of 2 pick up windows to be told to go pull up in front of the car parked in space #7!! They already had that many cars sitting waiting for orders and ran out of numbered slots! We pulled up along with 3 other cars not at numbered spaces that had to double park in the driveway due to all the waiting cars. After 16 mins the order was brought out by a man who didn't bother to bring straws for the drinks. When asked he looked confused said "Uhh, I can go get some". We had asked for the drinks at the window to drink while waiting in the heat to be told no, they'd bring with the order. I proceeded to park go in and get myself. Also fries weren't hot. If you have to let at least 10 cars wait for orders, then close the place or at least the drive thru. I love me some McDonald's and when we saw this super cool one two nights ago whilst of vaca, we wanted to pop in. Now, if you like the food at your local McD's you will like it here. If you don't, you won't. It's very industrial on the inside and lots of kiosks to order from. Today we had a spicy McChicken meal and a Happy Meal (I prefer the smaller portions). 4 stars for McDonalds which is a first for me. This is the largest and most upscale McDonalds that I have ever been to. It is also the closest to the Disney World Resort and we stopped here for lunch before flying out. The inside is clean with vaulted ceilings. There are iPads for kids to play games and someone cleaning it afterwards which is a plus for those dirty little fingers. Donna helped us during our dining experience and she came by multiple times to check in to make sure everything tasted good. She chatted with the kids and our family and really took the time to listen too. It was a surreal experience which made me question if we were still dining at a fast food restaurant. Also during our dining, the staff gathered at a table and sang Happy Birthday! Totally deserved all the stars! Great work! read more

I've visited this McDonald's location in between visiting two Walt Disney World parks, it's conveniently located between the parks. I ordered a Big Mac meal and requested to have the center bun removed. After I departed the drive-thru, I realized I had no bun on my Big Mac. Supposed to be open 24 hours. let us order on the app but when we arrived the drive through was blocked and the building was closed.

This is absolutely, hands down the single worst McDonald's location I have ever been to. The service was terrible from the moment we pulled into the drive through. We used the app to place a mobile order on our way out of the parks. When we got to the dual drive through, the service ignored our lane, allowing four cars on the other drive through that pulled up after us to go before us. When they finally took our information, we pulled up to the window only to be handed a single drink, with an emphasis on the straw, and asked to pull to the side for the rest of our order. Several cars after us were asked to do the same. Five cars which parked after us got their food before us. When I got out of my truck and asked what was going on, I was told our food was given to the wrong person. We now had to wait for more people to get their food until we finally got our order. Unsurprisingly, it was missing two small items. I didn't even care at this point. I got out of there and will never be going back. But the restaurant is pretty and clean - guess that's what matters right? Forget the service and food. read more

Beautiful eco friendly architecture. By far the most modern and clean establishment I have been to. I love how open the floor plan is. The building and parking lot are covered by solar panels. The facade is filled of beautiful greenery. I loved the outside area - comfortable lounge of high top tables covered by shade and hanging lights. Inside is a very modern layout - a few tables light up playful colors. You order using a touch screen or order at the table via we code. If you prefer to not get out there is a drive through. Outside is the best part! Bikes to cycle energy. So after your meal you can burn a few calories plus contribute to the go green initiative. read more

In early January of 2022, I finally got to check out this McDonald's after they had gone through a major remodeling of the restaurant. The inside became really spacious and was a much better use of the space. You can still order your food at the counter or by using one of the kiosks, but I still prefer to use their mobile app to order my food. Even though McDonald's isn't so cheap these days, you still can find great deals on their app. It'll still be cheaper than eating at any of the onsite food courts at one of Disney's budget All-Star resorts. There was plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. The dining area was always kept clean each time that I was there. The quality and taste of the food was also on par with any McDonald's in America. read more
