I've been to this McDonald's about six times now, and it's officially my favorite location. The main reason? The service. Everybody in there is genuinely nice, my food is always made fresh, and there's never any attitude. Also, let's address the elephant in the room -- the ice cream machine is NEVER broken. I don't even order ice cream like that, but when I do want a McFlurry, it's always available. Now here's what really made me happy. I was ordering four cookies (two orders of two), and the total came out to around $5.59. The girl at the register stopped me and said, "Hey, I love the cookies too, but you know you can get 13 cookies for $6 instead of paying that for four." I was like... WHAT?! So of course I said, "Give me the 13 cookies." She rang me up, it came out to a little over six dollars, and because it was 13 cookies, they made them fresh. They pulled me up, I didn't wait long at all, got my cookies, and left happy as hell. This location never messes up my food, and honestly, if they ever did, I truly feel like they'd be kind, apologetic, and fix it without any issues. It's not a bunch of kids working here -- it's adults who don't have time to play, and maybe that's why the service is consistently good. The store is always clean, everything is fresh, and yeah... it's McDonald's -- but not every fast-food spot gives this level of service. I think it's important to shout out locations that do it right. Special shoutout to Hannah (with the red hair) who works the drive-through and put me on to the 13 cookies for $6 deal. She was extremely nice and had great customer service. This McDonald's is hands down my favorite location. read more

I've been to this McDonald's three times now and have noticed the following: it's spotless here - they do a great job of keeping this place clean; folks here keep to themselves (and their fries) and keep quiet; the food is served fresh and hot. I have no complaints about this location in Lake Mary. There are two kiosks here to help you place your order (as well as dual lane drive-thrus). The staff are friendly and efficient and I even noticed today they were giving out samples of new chicken tenders they're trying out. The milk shake machine may have been on the snafu from what I overheard (why are the shake machines always down everywhere?). I also utilize the app and already have enough points for a free McChicken. Overall, I'd recommend this McDonald's to anyone in the area. read more

So I was there on Tuesday and now again today Sunday and both times the orders thru the drive thru we wrong Tuesday we ordered two of the same meals and when we got to the window we were told that we only ordered one meal instead of fixing the problem they told us to pull up to the door and come in and fix the problem what a mistake. Today I ordered thru the map and when I picked up my order everything went fine till I got home the fries were unsalted and the chicken strips were over cooked and they never put my sauce choices in the bag. It really is sad to think that these workers expect to be paid $15 an hour when they can't even get an order correct. Came to this location after work today, waited 15 minutes on my order at the 3rd window before asking about it then another 5 minutes and no one came back to say anything , so once we could we reversed to the main window to be met with horrible attitude manger/shift lead Cheyenne, giving us attitude cause we reversed and then proceeds to roll her eyes and argue with me that my order was only placed 10 Minutes ago even tho i was showing her the screen of when it was placed. Have to smile about reviews sometimes. The first review below is five stars - wonderful visits; the next review, one star - total s***hole. Go figure. We have stopped there many times over the years, but only for ice cream cones or sundaes during our rides on the nearby bike trail. Never much to report, until this last time when we found small hard pieces of blue plastic in our sundaes. Not sure if something splintered inside the machine or what. We avoided swallowing them and I took a few pieces inside for them to see. She seemed moderately concerned but didn't apologize or anything. But if I had gone in for an apology I would have asked for a manager with the vast six week manager training course behind them. I just thought they would want to look into it. It could be a month or two before we ride by again, so hopefully the machine will be long fixed by then. read more

I never give a McDonald's a 5 star. I was staying at a hotel and could see McDonald's below outside my window. I decided to walk over on a Sunday morning and get breakfast. This location was very modern and really clean. I felt like staff kept up with dining room - making sure it was clean for guests. The staff were very nice, helpful and professional. Food came out fast, hot and correct. Most of the time you hate to ask for something because most fast food staff give you attitude like they hate the world. These staff were great! read more

My daughter just threw up from the happy meal that we got today. When I called to let them know, they said it's probably because she hadn't eaten anything. She ate a doughnut for breakfast, and was fine. They do not care about their customers or the fact that they serve food that has caused food poisoning. In all seriousness, it's troubling how disrespectful people are to these workers. When I submit to my weakness and cheat on my diet, the employees here are always kind and typically process my orders quickly. Considering the nature of the world right now, (i.e. inflation, staff shortages) they should be commended, not torn down. Had to make a quick drive through here to get lunch before a work event. Was in and out quickly with a Big Mac meal ($7.27). As you can see from the picture the Mac looked really nicely put together, it tasted good to my starved tummy. The side of fries were crisp and tasty. For a quick meal it staked my hunger. read more

Worst freaking service - This place has been open since around Nov 2012 and it has the worst level efficiency. Wait time for food is ridiculous. Until now I was giving them benefit of doubt that its new and the team is trying to find their synergy. Today, as usual I was asked to wait in the "Reserved Drive Thru Parking Spot" for the part of my order to get ready. BTW - it was Breakfast oatmeal. Been waiting here for over 6 mins. So bugged that I thought, I'd yelp. Guess what, they were not even listed so I am doing the honors. My Oatmeal just arrived with "here is your oatmeal" - "no courtesy of sorry for the wait" this is great. I guess it the usual thing here so they are so used to it. My husband and i are visiting from Chicago. We did drive-thru service for 3 mornings in a row and the staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. We did have one error with our order. My husband ordered a bacon mcgriddle and they gave him one slice of bacon and smashed it between two mcgriddle cakes... that's it! He would've been upset if it wasn't so hilarious! I believe she misunderstood and just trying to accommodate him and how she understood his order. McDonald's in Heathrow very disfunctional. They cannot get orders correct, they take very long to get food out. Everyone working there, yes including management look like deer in the headlights. These are folks who want $15 an hour. However, they cannot get a simple order correct or run a resturant. I've contacted Corp office before, and have been contacted by a manager. Complete and utter shitshow. I live close and come here often. I've never had the heart to review this place, but gotta say something now. You will wait, and wait, and wait here. For a burger. McDonalds corporate has developed very strong systems to pump out food at a fast pace, but the HS flunkees that work here are unable to do it. The food is tossed together. My McRib had very little sauce and the onions were in the box and not on my sandwich. The meat was half off the bun and 1/4 out of the box. They mess up the order occasionally too, despite it being confirmed by drive thru screen. If it's busy, the parking lot is full of people that have paid, but are still waiting for food. This has to be one of the most friendlies McDonald's locations I have ever encountered. They are about 2/3 years old however their is a friendly culture amongst the staff. The restaurant including it restrooms are always clean. The food is always hit and fresh. I did experience somthibg being left out of my bag and they kindly replaced it no questions asked. I recommend this location over the many in the area. They also have self ordering and interactive game tables for kids to enjoy while parents eat. read more

The service is your typical fast food restaurant service. Nothing special because it's in the Heathrow area. What irks me is that it seems like every time I go there for a milkshake the machine is down. Get your act together please and learn how to clean it, and work the machine please! read more

What can one say about a McDonald's? It's one of the largest chain fast-food restaurants in the world. Overall your experience is going to vary based on the time of day, the employees working and how fast customers are willing to get through the line. If you have someone in front of you that's a little intellectually challenged, common sense deficient or being a prima donna, you're experience may be a little delayed. Is it the employees fault? Generally not. They are doing their best and they have plenty of staff for the busy hours to get people in and out the door as quickly as possible. So, the lesson here is don't be high maintenance and have a little understanding. It is fast food after all and will never be perfect. Generally the drive-thru is pretty quick between 7am and 8am (see above). It's rare that I have to wait. The biggest problem this location has are stupid people that think they can turn in from International Pkwy and go straight into the drive through around the garbage bin. Unfortunately, the flow of traffic for the drive-thru is not setup this way and they must drive around the building to get in line. It's stupid people that make this more difficult than it has to be. Look! There's even arrows on the pavement! Barb is funny. I see her every morning at the first window where I pay. Most times she gets my order correct. Very rarely will we get mixed up with another car, but that happens because she's trying to get the customers paid and down to the next window or some impatient idiot pushed his way in front of me in the double drive-thru because he figured one car is going to make a big difference. I've never been here during any other time than breakfast. My biggest complaint is sometimes the biscuits are soft and fresh. Other times the biscuit is rock hard. It's unfortunate that I don't figure this out until after I get to work. I would reach into the bag and give that warm biscuit a quick squeeze, but I feel guilty about holding up the drive-thru. read more
