On occasion, either as a treat to myself after a really good workout, or a really bad day, (or just as a break from the constant "rabbit food" elect to eat every day for every meal) I'll go to Five Guys and treat myself to 2 doubles with everything and just absolutely destroy them in short order. It's not typically my goal to finish them before the person behind me even gets their order, but often that's exactly what happens. Their burger are some of the best around after all. No special orders, no fries (not a huge fan of their fries honestly), no peanuts (they hurt my tummy now that I'm old), no drink and no shake. Just back to back (to back) wonderfully greasy yet crispy burgers hammered down my gullet like someone eager to impress on a first date; my only dessert being the open mouthed looks of horror from the pale teenager as he sees some big ogre devour the food he just made like a death row inmate eating his last meal. Today however, was a special treat; the elderly couple seated next to me got to witness what I'm sure they assumed to be a man possessed by the spirit of a highly territorial chihuahua wharf down his food all before they had even begun their fries. Confused horror was plastered across the woman's face as I left before the number after mine could even be called out. Five Guys produces a great burger, but my experience at this location was less then stellar. The burger is cooked to order so I don't mind the wait, but due to the quality of food we received the wait was unjustified. I live within a few mile radius. By the time we got home not only were the fries cold, but you could tell they had been sitting for a while. We both threw our fries out. The burger was decent, although quite dry and was missing a condiment I asked for. Another visit is warranted to see if it was an "off day", but seeing as this was the first time I've had Five Guys in quite some time it won't be anytime soon. read more

Best milkshakes. You can get as many topping as you want for 3.99. Didn't feel like any burgers just came for a milkshake to go. If you love fries this is the place to go. Love that you can put as many topping on our burger and not be charged unless you get cheese. I was pretty disappointed with my order today. It was a burger in a bowl which was supposed to be lettuce wrapped.. but what I got was the patties sitting on top of a lettuce leaf with all of my toppings on each corner of the bowl. I love their burgers and their fries are probably the best fries if any burger joint out there. The burgers are always perfect and delicious and I love how many different toppings you can put on them. There's nothing like a bacon cheeseburger with pickles and mustard. If you don't know, you really should know, five guys fries are the best out there. A few weeks ago we ordered food to be delivered and the driver showed up with the wrong order. We called to either get a refund or the correct food delivered. They said they couldn't do a refund nor deliver the food because it was through ubereats. Ubereats said they wouldn't give a refund because its marked as food delivered and suggested to handle it with Five Guys. Five guys manager said they would make a note of it so that when we came back they would take care of us. We showed up today and there was no documentation of the order and the General Manager said "Thats not how we do it.". So disappointing to see a customer lost over a $10 meal. Did you know that you can order on their app for pick up? Whoa. Game changer. My husband and I did this last time because 1) we don't like waiting on take-out and 2) we smell like fried food if we hang out there too long. So the app has changed our lives. Five Guys Burger and Fries, the more I stop in at this brand the less l'm a fan. This location recently re-enforced those feelings with the inaccuracy of my order I know I should of called them on it but the wait time was already longer than I had intended to stay. The service today was not so different than the last few times I've tried this restaurant chain, the staff seemed lackadaisical and somewhat lethargic. Another disappointing order sloppily assembled smashed and soggy making it not only unappealing to look at, it was rather disgusting to ingest. While I'm on a rant I must say the thrill of over stuffing the small cups of fries so the majority lie in the bottom of an unsanitary brown paper sack likely made from recycled who knows what is just as duplicitous. What was once thought ingenuous has evolved into annoying, spend the money and buy some containers that fit the portions, and while you're at it lose the foil, sealing hot foods served on a bun creates steam which turns bread to mush I've yet to meet anyone who thinks this is desirable. I really like Five Guys as they always make a very tasty burger! However, the secret lies in their fries, which are fried in peanut oil. As for the burgers, they are made fresh and have a wide variety of toppings to choose from. I highly recommend getting the burger topped with their "everything" selection, which includes: grilled onions, pickle, tomato, lettuce, ketchup. In addition, you can grab a handful of peanuts to munch on while you wait, free of charge! Despite all of this, I will say that I'm a bit torn. Even though I like this place a lot, I do find that because of the ways the burgers are made, they very easily soak the bun, making them difficult to eat if you wait too long. Below average service. Tried to place a pick up order over the phone and was placed on hold for 5 mins before someone ended the call. Called back to speak to a manager who said he would be more than happy to take my order. Arrived to the store to pay for my order and pick it up. Waited for another 10 mins before a worker asked me if I was order #96. After I told him that I was not I had just paid for a order for pick up, he looked back at the stack of bags and picked out my order which had apparently been ready to go for who knows how long. Every time I have visited this 5 guys, the music, alternative rock and roll, is blasting to the point that it is very uncomfortable to eat inside. The other annoying thing is that the air conditioning is down so cold that it makes it freezing and the food gets cold immediately. I think the employees set these two things to their liking and don't care about the customer. I asked that the music be turned down and got a blank stare and my food, which I took out, nearly thrown at me in the bag that it comes in. Come on guys, get it together.
