Came here for drive-thru food on my way back in from vacation. I got 12 nuggets, a large fry, and two of each dipping sauce, my usual meal. It was lovely, as always. Definitely a proper reward after a long, seven hour drive home. I gave this place five stars, because it was completely up to the expected standard I expect from Chick-fil-A, which is excellent. The food is always piping hot, which I just love. Especially because you're getting a crispy chicken sandwich so it needs to be hot and juicy. The waffle fries are so good! If you're trying to keep things a bit on the healthier side, you also have the option to get grilled chicken sandwich, or grilled chicken nuggets as your main entrée. You can then add a kale salad or a side house salad or a fruit cup as a side dish instead of waffle fries. The Sunjoy and lemonade are really good drink options and they have a diet version of those too. I'm pretty sure they make the lemonade in house and they even brew iced tea. If the front counter line is too long, you can order from the table with the mobile app and skip standing in line altogether. It's a fun place for the whole family. I have previously reviewed that this location consistently gets the order wrong most of the time and you should check before you leave. This is still true. However, this location also rarely does the "thankyou rewards" in the app. Because they are so infrequent, I missed that I had a chicken biscuit thank you until the day it was expiring, but I was after breakfast. So I went in for lunch and asked if I could use it for something else. I was told these are controlled at corporate and there was nothing the store could do. I have since confirmed from a third party who is in the know that the thank you rewards are per store, as I suspected. Drive to the Tuskawilla location if you have can. read more

Second restaurant I have reviewed in Oviedo that has not been up to par and very disappointing. Last weekend got half diet lemonade half unsweetened tea. All it tasted like was watered down tea. Thankfully I discovered before leaving. It was rectified but my expectations are set higher. This week got a cup of the chicken tortilla soup which I get frequently this time of year. This review rating is for my positive drive-thru experience today, we ordered 2 4-piece mini biscuits for my friend to take on her plane ride. Despite the long lines I usually see when passing by, I had the good fortune of being the only car in line at the time. I was just so surprised what happened to our drive thru visit today. We never have problems with this location ever so it was so shocking what happened. We went through the drive thru as normal and the girl took our order. Super nice and sweet! We ordered an 8-piece chicken nugget meal and a Chick-fil-A sandwich meal. One we upgraded to a vanilla milkshake as the drink. Once we get to the check out person, he asks if we want a receipt and we said no thank you. We get to the order window to pick up our food and he hands us the 8-piece nugget meal with a vanilla milk shake, and then then chicken sandwich with fries. We then asked where the drink (Sprite) was for the sandwich and he said there was no meal. How can there be no meal if you gave us fries with the sandwich? He then asked for our receipt which we said we didn't ask for it earlier, so he continued to reply that since there's no proof of buying a meal that includes a drink, they cannot give us the drink. Really, dude? Seriously? We just want a Sprite that we paid for with our chicken sandwich meal! After going back and forth, my boyfriend and I didn't want to hold up the line and just stormed off. Enjoyable stop for breakfast at this location, with my advance order being placed via the CFA app and then dining inside after arrival. Tasty chicken biscuit combo. Service time after arrival was quite good, and the food items were hot and fresh. The wrong tea was prepared (sweet vs unsweet) but they were quick to get that corrected. Overhearing some of the conversations amongst the team, it seemed there may be some challenges with overall coordination of orders, but it did not affect mine at all. I want so bad to like this location because it is the closest location to me and it seems slightly better thought out in terms of drive through line and parking, but it has consistently missed the mark for my Chick-fil-A expectations. Speaking of Chick-fil-A expectations, I feel like the consensus is we go to Chick-fil-A because we expect better service, better food (and are willing to pay more as such), and better drive through smoothness. With that said, this location has just consistently not meet that for me and as such I'm leaving a 3-star review (my heart is tugging towards 2.5). My usual lunch or dinner order consists of an 8-count grilled nuggets and either a small fry or fruit cup depending on my mood. On multiple occasions I have received less than 8 nuggets in my order (through the drive thru) and on one time I received the breaded version instead of the grilled AND it was less than 8 nuggets? What gives??? I paid for 8 I expect 8.... So I have since resorted to either drive up pick up order or going inside so I can more easily correct mistakes which happens far too frequently for a Chick-fil-A (that's the expectation right?). Speaking of drive up pick up.... You will watch the drive thru line fly past you as you wait an insane amount of time for your order as a "team member is on the way with your order" according to the app *eye roll*. Last time I was here I went in for a cookie and iced coffee and a lady came in complaining she was waiting 15 mins for two drinks through drive up pick up (this has indeed happened to me). After that the manager had asked me what I was waiting on because I had been there for a hot minute and I laughed and said "I'm just waiting on a cookie really" and she herself couldn't believe a team member hadn't grabbed a cookie yet.. anyway it appears they focus on the drive thru line and just ignore the pick up and inside it seems. I guess that's the trade off? Sigh... I can't win with this location. I do really feel for the employees as it does seem hectic and they're trying their best. If I have my pup with me they offer her a treat which is nice. Can't say any of this has made me swear off coming here in the future but my expectations every time are very very low. Don't come if you're in a rush. Check your order before driving home or wherever you're heading to. Fries are consistently hot and salty. Fruit cup is never packed full like I expect for the price and compared to other Chick-fil-As. The medium is basically the small in a bigger container (don't be fooled by the price) *eye roll*. Do not be in a hurry at this location. Ordered curbside service and waited forever. They didn't seem real busy like other places. It can be a tough location to get into when traffic is bad. They also have a drive thru parking area. Drove and took a sip of my coffee and it was black coffee. Other chick-fil-a's I go to mix it for you since it is to go. No coffee stick to mix it with. In simultaneous fashion I realized it has the largest dining area of any and every Chick-fil-A that I've ever been to which paired well to its equally large outdoor seating area. I'm not sure if that's due to the layout or if it actually has that much more footage? Before ordering I visited the restroom and passed a mobile ordering shelf which I've also never seen before, very interesting. In addition, I was surprised to see a prayer wall, again new to me. HOLY COW THE BEST PART OF MY EXPERIENCE JUST HAPPENED! Forget the other stuff! After I ordered, I roamed the unit to find the spot that sat directly in the sun because the sun is what I love. IN THE MIDDLE OF TYPING THIS SURVEY, JUST NOW! One of the team members stopped and asked me if she would like me to pull down the sun shade! WHAT THE HECK?! Pros: This place has great food at a reasonable price. The service is friendly. Cons: Guest who dine in rather then drive thru are defiantly, without a doubt, treated like second class citizens. I pulled into the parking lot to a line of sixteen cars wrapped around the property into the parking lot, so I went in side where there was absolutely no line and eight other guests enjoying their lunch. I ordered a Number One Combo Meal, the most popular item on the menu, something that should be easy. I sat at the table and eventually saw that the car that I would have been behind in the drive thru was actually getting their food before me. Then several other cars got their food before I did. These cars definitely placed their orders after I did. I expressed these concerns to the manger who actually acknowledged the issue as if it was by design and not a problem at all. This is the complete opposite experience from "People Dedicated to Quality." Also, my sweet tea with lemon had no ice and no lemon. Very refreshing on a warm afternoon. I've been to this Chick-fil-a several times before and never had an issue and received good service, but today my husband ordered a chicken sandwich deluxe and, while halfway through eating it, dropped his sandwich disgusted and started rinsing his mouth out because there was an entire dead fly in his sandwich. I'm posting the picture as proof but I can say that this is disgusting and I won't be returning to this chick-fil-a. It's enough to have bad safety practices in general, but you would think that they would be even more cautious during these times. Two people in my family are immunocompromised and eat at this Chick-fil-A every Monday, who's to say that their food hasn't been or won't be tainted in the future? I love that I have a Chick-fil-A so close to me but I have to tell you this has to be the worst one I've visited. I never get my pick-up order right. Ok so when I say never I mean 8/10 times it's wrong ! I never get my drink right. I called and complained on year 5 of this happening. I was very patient but was just tired of getting the wrong drink. They need to know so they can fix it, right? I got a free drink for my troubles. I use the said free drink and it wrong again! I've given good reviews for this exact location before, but tonight it was anything but enjoyable. There's roughly 8 workers outside with about 5 working. The others are playing with peoples dogs in cars and holding up the line. I had a 50/50 chance of getting the faster line, and chose poorly. I watch approximately 5 cars by as my line was held up by one of the workers playing with a dog in the car in front of me. Now I'm sitting in the drive thru waiting parking. Wanted to try something new today so I ordered a Cobb salad with grilled chicken instead of the fried chicken. Let me just say it did not disappoint, at all! But we would expect that from CFA... the superior fast food restaurant. I got ranch and Buffalo as my dressing. My boyfriend ordered his normal fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cheese and no pickles, add bacon. They do make you grab the condiments after you pull through the drive through from a lady in a tent. We loveeeeee CFA sauce so we always get 10 with our meal when we go (&& yes we do use them!!) the lady giving them out was so stingy with it and when I asked for A LOT she wanted to give me only 2 and I was like UH NO??? This happens in every Chick-fil-A but at this location I have to make a comment because it was particularly worse at this last visit. I gave you a one star bascially to get the attention of the manager or owner at his location. Overall I love Chick-fil-A as a franchise. When I go to CFA I have very specific things I need done to my food. I have alergies and also health routines in place when I order. I try to cut back on fats, calories, salt when I can so I am specific. This happened inside the restaurant no one barely in the store and we were the only people in line. The cashier after each item we ordered kept saying is there anything else. This happened at least 15 times, interrupting us everytime before we could get a word out. I understand you program them, but at some point they have to lay off the programming and show respect for the customers. I think overall all of the employees do not have enough common sense to slow down and listen and not do that robotic line and other lines without discretion. I understand you train them for speed, however when a store is basically empty and there are no lines a new program should be taught its called patience and listening to the customer. I particularly have a problem with the line of questioning because everything I order is not standard. So I try to tell the order taker the specifics but when they fall onto the questioning technique your employee, I either miss a request, or a lot of times they dont listen or understand and ignore it. They are so programmed for this questioning tactic they turn off their ability to listen I assume. They did miss a request on an item. Now the speed at which this person was taking the order was not unlike a drivethrough experience which is also insulting to the customer. There is no reason for this inside an empty store. I hope at some point the franchise gets this and at some point understands how much of a turnoff this is, and it is actually rude. read more

By CFA standards, this location is only okay and that's mostly because it's small. The parking lot is noticeably cramped and very poorly designed because the drive-thru traffic constantly snakes through the actual parking lot. So if you park in the back towards Cafe Rio there's a good chance you could get blocked in. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed this place. Also, it's oddly arranged even inside. Most CFAs you walk in the front door and the counter is to your right, it's to your left here. The counter area itself is remarkably small and very cramped. I'd imagine the line can snake through the entire dining room during lunch rush. I will say that the food and service is just as good as every other CFA. The staff seems a little younger here than most places. It's like it's run by teenagers - where all are the adults? LOL, J/K. But yeah, definitely a solid CFA. I'd recommend going during non-peak hours if you want to have a chance of getting a parking space and/or a table. read more

This is a newer store so it's quite pretty inside. There's even little metal cows and chickens decorating the walls. It's very rustic-prairie. KJ was my server, he was pleasant and professional without that children of the corn creepiness that CFA cashiers can so often have.. ALSO, my receipt says "Tiffany", so somewhere there's a liar... The food was fresh and delicious. CFA remains one of the bargain fast food joints. $7 combo meal. I cannot for the life of me understand how McDonalds can charge similar prices for their styrofoam food. As a former CFA employee about 15 years ago, I can promise my fries were only moments out of the fryer.. if you haven't paired their waffle fries with the CFA sauce, you haven't lived! This is a relatively new location, and I have had two occasions where I've placed a REALLY big order, and there has been something missing. So I called the store today and talked to a manager. Not only did she replace the food I was missing, she had it DELIVERED IT TO ME for free with a sincere apology!! Who does that?! Oh, Chick-fil-A does. No one else. This is one of the many reasons CFA is my favorite place for fast food. Update: I really hope they get through their growing pains soon. I still have to check my bag every time because there is almost always something wrong with my order even when dining in, and I just don't get that intensely warm, fuzzy feeling from their employees. After being almost hit twice at the Chick-fil-a on Tuscawilla, and getting stuck in the express lane twice (we had our food but we were stuck behind the cars that didn't have their food), and they have no curbside parking, we went to this location in Oviedo. It took 5 minutes longer to get to this location, but it was so worth it. The traffic flow makes more sense than the tuscawilla location. Oviedo-we will be back!!! read more

I didn't know what I wanted, so the guy( not so pleasantly) told me to pull up to the menu, basically. I wasn't aware I needed to pull up to the middle to see the sides and salads so I totally missed that until after I ordered. We were rushed thru the order which he got wrong btw. I ordered 2 plain spicy chicken sandwiches and chicken strips with fries. He charged me almost twice as much for 2 southwest somethings. It was corrected when we drove up to get the receipt. RAW Chicken. Went to this chick fil a, received the wrong sandwich put into the correct box. Upon taking it back, waited about 7 minutes for the correct sandwich. After taking multiple bites, the corrected sandwich was RAW in the middle. I took the sandwich up to the register where I was questioned. You could clearly see the chicken was uncooked in the center. The staff member rudely asked if I would like something else instead, when all I clearly wanted was a cooked chicken sandwich. The staff at this location looked at me like I was an annoyance.
