It's McDonalds...so it's the same fast food as every other McDonalds in the country. Only this one has the SLOWEST drive through during lunch and has never gotten my order right. I think the two lanes and random way the cars pull up that confuses them. I get a large Coke and a large fry almost every time...and have never had it handed to me right. I hate to say it, but there are a handful of McDonald's out there that have a clean establishment, friendly, staff, clean, restrooms, and consistent food. This McDonald's in Las Cruces had all of that! Don't get me wrong, I'm old-school and I'm not used to the kiosk, or you can order and have it delivered to you. With that said, I still go up to the counter and order. It's been along time since I've been to a McDonald's for these reasons, so I was expecting not good things. Take number 38 placard after punching that number in so they can bring out dine in order. Receipt prints nothing on either side. Blank paper. Fine. Order 224! 224?! 5 minutes between. They finally yell what's in the order. Oh wait that's us. Guess we will pick it up. Idk. If one has a human standing there, I assume a human could do it better than people who have never used a kiosk. Also, if the kiosk tells you what to do and how things will go, it should be safe to assume that will really happen. Human integrity is lacking. I understand. Really can't blame the machine here. To be clear, I love McDonald's and love their app. The one thing I don't love about McDonald's is this particular location. I will literally drive across town to any of the other McDonalds just to avoid going to this one. The food qualify, the presentation, the wait, the lack of a simple "hello", etc. leaves you disappointed. I cannot recall the amount of times I've had to ask for a napkin in order to wipe the outside food bag, my drinks, or ice cream before even setting them in my truck. We were on a road trip and ran across billboards calling for this double cheeseburger with green Chile. I was intrigued and decided to stop off just before 11am to try it. I asked the cashier what time breakfast ended and she said 11am. It wasn't that easy though because she was a tad rude. Then I asked if they have the green Chile burger and she goes with attitude "not till 11am". I said okay thank you and ordered on the digital menu to avoid further contact. We ate breakfast and waited for 11am to hit to get our burgers and get out. The digital board changed and we decided to try a few other items including the Stroopwafle McFlurry. As you could guess the ice cream machine was down. We ended up seeing the same original lady yell at a coworker that she already told us it was down. This place was a mess. 99% of the people working were socializing and messing around flipping other coworkers off. This location is awful. I had a woman be so rude to me then she had the nerve to try to turn it around on me and get her manager involved. Literally from the moment I handed this woman my card she had the meanest look on her face and she sure did make sure she treated me as awful as possible. She was wearing a unique shirt with a collar, a button up and it was a brownish color? Im not entirely sure of the color as this was a couple months ago now but I felt the need to write a review because thats how nasty this woman was and someone I know told me of a literally identical experience and described the woman to a T. Same type of button up collared shirt, hispanic, hair up and a bit on the heavier side. People like that, that just want to pick on people because they can make me sick. When I asked if we could sit in the closed off section I was told they close it off to help keep the restaurant clean as they prepare to close. Keep in mind this was at 7:57pm, and they close at 11. These were the worst egg McMuffins I have ever had!!! Everything in my order was incorrect. The muffin was super hard, cold, and burnt. The cook sabotaged my order when I went to go eat with my family. Who knows what he did to to the rest of the orders, as mine was obvious. It was 6pm and I hadn't ate all day. I didn't even have money that day and my family was paying for me. I noticed the cook was hating on me for whatever reason. The so-called manager with the cheap scarf minus her name tag, tried to discourage me from ordering what I wanted with wait time, which was chicken. They took over 15 minutes to make order. The cook put the chicken in the box with no bun! That lady manager just laughed and that's when the cook began cussing and tempting me to fight him! The cook got everyone's attention in the restaurant and probably the good folks barely walking into Walmart. I was so humiliated that I will never eat at any McDonald's ever again, for all the things that happened that day, and for many more far greater carbon footprint reasons. I got my money back for everything because I told her I had to eat elsewhere. She didn't want to refund everything at first. I kept my coke too. The other manager approved it after getting that rude punk out of the kitchen. In my 30+ years I have never seen such foul behavior from anywhere that employees are servicing the public. I went to sit, study and have something to eat and drink. Upon entering the place was very neat and clean. The place had several people inside and drive thru busy from what I saw. I ordered my food sat down and studied for about thirty minutes not really paying attention to my surrounding. But out of the corner of my eye saw a small, older worker constantly moving from one end of lobby to the other. This lady was a tornado of a employee! She was cleaning windows, wiping tables at the second people left, she offered to take trays, and when there was nothing more to do she was pulling out furniture to mop and wipe. She glanced at people and smiled did wonderful job. I strongly recommend stopping by and having meal and looking at what pride, energy and attention to detail this Mcdonalds has of a employee.
