Wow... The manager here is incredible! Nick was super personable and welcoming. He continually announced the current "deals" to all entering customers with a sense of ownership that i've never before seen in a manager. DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE. This place was absolutely disgusting and I regret ever going here: First off I have always known that McDonald's wasn't the greatest place to eat, but I thought that because the one in Leavenworth had a charming little Bavarian style it would be nice and tasty. I was completely wrong. I am embarrassed that I went here. First I walked in and was a little disgusted. It smelled like a gross old farm. The smell was just awful. So I went up to the counter and ordered a normal burger (keep in mind the options were gross too but I was hungry.) The customer service was awful. When I asked him what he recommended to eat he said "Figure it out yourself lady, I'm not some robot to answer all your questions." I was pretty taken back. The man working kept yawning and was very rude. When I asked him for a cup to get a soda he threw the cup at me. This was another setback, but the worst thing of all is that the cup was wet on the inside with water. I asked him for a new cup and he asked me "why? " I told him it was because there was water in the cup and HE ACTUALLY SAID "Oh yeah I drank some water from there but don't worry it's clean." LIKE WHAT...EXCUSE ME. So I threw away the cup and went to sit down. I was just disgusted. The table had some weird sticky liquid on it and was very dirty and gross. THERE WERE FLIES EVERYWHERE. They kept landing on me and I had to keep brushing them away. It was awful. So McDonald's is fast food, but my food took 25 minutes to come. Mostly because they had forgot my order. I was so annoyed I was about to leave and then they served me my burger......I don't know how to explain it so I'll show you the picture.....Maybe I was just overreacting but after a few bites I threw everything away and left. That night I had terrible nausea and I found out I had food poisoning from the McDonald's food. PLEASE CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN. IT WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER ATE AT. Well, a McDonald's is a McDonald's. So this review isn't for the food. But for the location and service. The outlet looks nice. Coming from Seattle, this place looks super nice and clean! They have cute string lights, piped music. But the 5 star is thanks to the lady on the counter who offered a paper menu on realizing I couldn't read the board. Never realized they had a paper menu as I have never been offered one! 5 star for that alone. Thank you so much for making it easy! read more

We walked down to this location from our hotel. It's not too far from the main/center of Leavenworth. We were politely greater when we walked in and our order was smooth. It's a little smaller than most locations in my opinion. The food came quick and we sat outside and ate. Plenty of seating outside. read more

I went to this McDonald's twice over the Christmas season to get breakfast for the family, and on both visits they got my order wrong. We were ignored by the surly manager. My breakfast sandwich was cold and it was obvious that the sausage patty had never been flipped as it was only brown on one side. I returned my sandwich to the manager and explained what was wrong with in. She offered no apology, no refund, in fact she said nothing. In a few minutes when she returned my sandwich, it was obvious that she had just microwaved the same sandwich. We also noticed the same constant beeping that another reviewer remarked on. I've eaten in a lot of McDonald's all over the U.S. and in Europe and this was one of my worst experiences. read more

Had an absolutely awful experience in this McDonald's last night. At 9:50 we walked into the lobby to a group of employees standing at the counter talking, visibly frustrated and annoyed that we walked in when they don't close for another 10min. After politely asking if we can still get served food, the MANAGER of all people wearing a blue shirt look at us and said "well you got in so I guess" with a pissed off look on his face. We promptly walked out and will never be returning. A fast food place that treated customers so horribly because they didn't want to make food for 2 people 10min before closing is incredible. Came here on a Tuesday 12/29 and was excited to find no line at 6pm. After waiting 10 min and watching the window supervisor on her phone then sticking it in a cup by the coffee maker...ended up with no French fries and a line around the block..parked and walked back thru snow and ice to get our fries under the heat lamp...obviously missed and known. The food is like very other McDonalds but the service is awesome. The owner stands at the door, greeting people. Breakfast was over at 1030 like most McDonalds but my 4 year old insisted that at 11 am she wanted pancakes. So they made her pancakes anyways!! Then the manager told us to sit down and he would bring our food to us. Even came and asked us if we needed anything else. Plus, free wifi. Clean and friendly. This establishment is slow, which is fueled by the joking non professional staff you can see on the food line, and bagging up the food. Takes forever, compared to other McDonalds. We were in Leavenworth enjoying the little town and decided to go for a quick meal at McDonald's. We were instructed by nick to use the machine and he would be there to "help" if we needed it. We began our order and he completely took over and didn't allow us the opportunity to order things the way we wanted. Finally after the struggle it was time to pay. I swiped my card and for some reason only allowed partial payment so I told nick "ok I suppose I'll pay the rest in cash" he began pushing all kinds of buttons on the key pad and screen. Cancelled my transaction and he insisted it didn't. It clearly stated the charge on my card was cancelled. We went to the counter to try and resolve the issue and Nick would not allow any of us to get a word in. I kindly asked for corporate number and the store number and they refused. The restaurant manager came out and told me to calm down when I couldn't get a word out. With many witnesses to vouch for me. I think I might have gotten out one sentence MAYBE. Instead of the info I requested I was given a card for an area manager. I'm assuming to keep it within the store and make sure it doesn't get reported to corporate. I wouldn't recommend this location. It was a terrible experience overall. I had to put one star to post the review but this deserves ZERO stars. They need lots of improvement on customer service. read more

Visited this McDonald's today and was treated very rudly. All if the tables in the dining area had crumbs on them so I asked for a rag so I could wipe off a table for myself. The person responsible for keeping the dining area clean went off on me and said "all of the tables are always clean he said this in a very loud voice so everyone in the building could hear....I replied to him that he is incorrect, all the tables have crumbs on them. He went off on me a second time so I told him I will be doing a review. He proceeded to tell everyone in the place if they go on the McDonald's website and comment on their wonderful appearance they would get some sort of a coupon. The customer service here sucks. When we asked for ketchup through the drive through the employee seemed almost offended we asked and closed the window to talk to her employee before giving us ketchup. Not only that, they messed up our order multiple times and after we drove off we discovered they hadn't given us any straws. read more
