My husband and I came here for lunch as he had received vouchers for two free extra value meal from another location. The associate who took our order was professional and friendly. The wait time to prepare our order was a bit longer than I would have liked, but my chicken nuggets and fries were perfect so that compensated for the wait time. My husband who overloads everything with salt said that his burger was too salty. I was shocked. He ended up not finishing his burger. This location has fewer seating compared to others. They do have a few outdoor tables. My husband informed me that the restaurant was in an industrial park by BWI. Most people who came in did carryout. I just had the most unprofessional interaction with the evening manager at this location I think I've ever experienced. I placed an order for 2-40 count nuggets through the McDonalds delivery app. When the order was delivered, there were 2-20 count nuggets in the bag. I called the location to see if the DoorDasher might have accidentally left the second bag behind, and the manager proceeded to tell me that he was SURE he packed two boxes of nuggets. I said he was correct, I have two boxes, but they are 20 count each, and I ordered 2-40 count. He rudely said "Lady, what do you actually want me to do about it?" When I said I simply wanted the rest of my order, he laughed and said take it up with Door Dash. When I asked if I could bring up the two ones and the receipt to show him that they were 20-counts, he said "I'm not lookin' at nothin' you bring up here, yo" and some other unintelligible mumbling and cursing.When I asked him to confirm that he just admitted to packing two boxes of nuggets, and had made a mistake with the counts, he said he was calling his manager. I waited on hold (with DoorDash customer care in the background on another line) and waited for him to return. After 10 minutes, he came back to the phone and in a ride tone said "I checked the receipt, you ordered 2-40's, come get your order." When I told him that I didn't want to "come get it" which is why I DoorDashed it, and didnt want to interact with him after he was so rude and unprofessional, and asked for his general managers name and number. He refused to give me both, and I asked again for either a customer care number or the owner/managers name, and he said "I'm not givin' you nothin'" and hung up. McDonald's corporate or the owner/operator of this location, please contact me here with your number. DoorDash was on another line and heard the interaction, and after I got back on the phone with them, a DoorDash customer care manager said he was opening an official complaint against the restaurant for what they heard. So I was here yesterday. I don't normally rate McDonalds unless it was absolutely horrible. I don't expect much because it's Mcdonalds. I don't expect Nordstrom service here. However I had a good experience. The Young man that took my order had a great attitude. It looked like he had a one man band going on. I think that some people may have called out or management did the schedule wrong. What I like the most about my experience is that he listened. I got a vanilla ice cream with extra caramel and he hooked me up! I was happy as a kid on christmas or at a candy store. Our fries were also hot! I'm not sure why so many places at BWI get such a bad rep. Yeah, service can be slow at times or maybe your food isn't the most fresh, but come on, you're at an airport. It's not exactly the venue for Michellin-starred restaurants, but it gets the job done. We stopped by this McDonalds during our layover and had no complaints. It took a couple minutes for the food to come out despite their being no line, but the food tasted pretty fresh. They forgot our drink at first, but gave it to us when we reminded them. Stopped on this location while in Baltimore airport and customers beware. If you don't have at least 15 minutes or in a rush stay away. Staff is so slow and disorganized. I wanted to get a latte it took about 18 minutes for them to make me a large latte, they they never made me a large they made a medium. Their a lot of people standing around doing nothing. I asked them 3 times for my latte and they still did not get it. No one in charge is there and it's kind of like a free for all. Worst Drive Thru experience I've had here. Only one car was ahead of me. I placed my order and from the beginning, Issa was not taking my order in correctly. And I was being patient waiting for my order to reflect on the Menu Screen, but only one item was showing. I was just trying to confirm that she had taken my order right. When I asked to confirm it, she let out the biggest SIGH and continued to repeat my order. When I came to the window, I handed my card to her and she DROPPED my CREDIT CARD on the floor outside of my car. She didn't apologize or anything. Instead, she just said "Oh" and closed her service window. All while I had to struggle to grab my card off the ground. In the end, one of our drinks were wrong and two other food items were not in our bags. I was so annoyed that I decided not to return for the items that I payed for but did not receive. I understand when people who work in fast food have bad days, but please please please, TRY to be Nice! It makes a difference when you're able to say "Sorry". Needed to get some food before our flight and figured McDonalds is pretty hard to screw up. Little did I know. For starters the staff here are super unfriendly, which in and of itself wouldn't warrant a 1 Star review, but it gets worse. They're out of many menu items, like chicken tenders. When they won't even bother to repeat back what you've ordered this is a guarantee they will screw your order up. I asked for a meal- didn't get it. Another customer had ordered from their app, and wanted to pick up, staff couldn't figure it out. Here was the worst part... woman in front of me picks up her drink (a Coke) takes a sip, and informs the staff her soda has no carbonation. Do NOT come here. This is my first one-star review, and I believe this location deserves it. I came here after landing at BWI airport because I was starving and it was the closest franchise. I had previously assumed that the quality of McDonald's was consistent throughout the US, but this experience has dispelled that illusion. I ordered a black coffee and two egg McMuffins. What I received ten seconds later (yes, that quick) was a lukewarm coffee with milk and sugar, two SAUSAGE McMuffins, and an oatmeal. Why the oatmeal? I have no clue whatsoever. I checked my bill to make sure there wasn't any miscommunication, but everything was printed correctly and the cashier had even read the order back to me. I just don't understand. My theory: they have terrible service because they can afford to do so. I've seen negative reviews on Yelp about this place, but thought "it's a McDonald's, it can't be that bad." Note to self, always trust Yelp. Normally, if a venue has such poor food and service, they close up shop when the customers stop coming. But located this close to the airport, they'll ALWAYS have an influx of unsuspecting customers and have poor souls like myself buy the food and realize they've been fooled once they get home. After that she told us to go to the first window but it was actually the second. She then gives us 2 black coffees... except she put sugar in both coffees. When asked if she added sugar to our black coffees she said yes and seemed confused as to why we didn't want that. I should have ordered extra cheese and fries with no salt. It's always hot when it's prepared within the last 10 minutes.
