    Chicken Protein Bowl
    Matt K.

Saw the ridiculous line at chipotle around 7pm and turned into QDOBA instead. I was in and out within 5-10 min and could see the same people standing in line at chipotle lol The chicken protein bowl does not come with rice. Main ingredients are chicken, beans, fajitas, guacamole, and salsa

I love that they have kids meal boxes to go here now! That is a new thing. I have also loved Qdoba and their queso. I felt like the wait can get long on weekends but if you go on off times or weekdays there is virtually no wait. The parking lot can get crowded so that is a hit or miss.

The food was excellent. The food was kinda fast cause we were the 2nd ones ìn line. The ambiance was decent.

The place is filthy and the impossible bowl was impossible to eat. It was a hard clump of some sorts. The bins were overflowing and the tables were really dirty.

Had an online order for asap pickup. Arrived at the restaurant to have the food actually be ready for me which is a nice suprise as if i had gone to lets say chiople, its never made on time. They gave me really nice portions and i was happy to see such a large borrito when i only had a few ingredients in it. Definitely will come by again for a great flavor and portion sized borrito.

This Qdoba suffers from a severe lack of parking. It's pretty bad. Note that if you go towards the right (when facing the restaurant), the parking lot is a dead end. My burrito with chicken was huge. Yuge, in fact. I guess I was nice to the folks putting it together because they went pretty heavy on the chicken and salsas in there. Very tasty, but it wasn't very well mixed up. A bit of chicken here, a bite of cilantro there. Delicious, but without the melding of flavors that would make it awesome. Coke Freestyle machine working well.

this is a 50/50 for us, it's a hit or miss. last time we went here the food was cold and stale, but this time the food was hot and fresh. i had to ask for extra portions just for the food to be enough for a decent sized meal, and the queso was actually hot and spicy this time, definitely recommend those. there's no line normally, so if you're looking for something quick and easy, this is the spot. while the workers seemed rude and like they didn't want to be here, the food was decent and i'd come here again. it's not very crowded here, but the workers didn't give very good vibes. if i could give it a 3.5 i would.

I also really enjoyed the strawberry and mango margaritas, which paired perfectly with the nacho chips. While our server was very sweet during the initial order, the service was unfortunately nonexistent after that with almost no check-ins. The ambiance is very loud--almost like a club--and the music was blasting so much that I had to step outside a few times for a break. That said, the flavors were on point, so I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Our server was friendly. I ordered a mimosa to start with since it was during brunch hours. My bf and I decided to share enchiladas and we were able to choose different ones; we had the carne which was ground beef with a delicious enchilada sauce, the pollo tinga with a roasted tomato salsa sauce, and the pork verde with a green salsa. All of them tasted great! It came with a choice of refried beans or black beans (we had refried which were good) and rice (pretty tasty!). The first round of chips and salsa are on the house, but it's a pretty small serving. Very good though. We did ask for a second round ($3 I believe) but never got them, but we were full from the meal so it was okay. Overall, we enjoyed this spot and would definitely return!

The Only Review You Need To Read…read more We decided to check out this restaurant, as my funny little honey is actually from Colima, Mexico and if anybody knows Mexican food, it would be her. Also my Aunt Johnnie (RIP) who relocated from El Paso, TX to Ellicott City years ago, this was her favorite restaurant. First off, I'd like to say that the word "authentic" is thrown around a bit too liberally when it comes to Mexican restaurants around here. The Hispanic population here in Maryland is dominated with people from Central America, of which Mexico is not. The restaurant itself is rather quaint, with plenty of room for either couples or a large party. The staff were very friendly and attentive; definitely seems like a family-owned business. Now, let's talk about the food. In a nutshell, we were not particularly impressed. The chicken tortilla soup was basically a watery bean soup with little flavor and two large tortilla chips placed in it (no tortilla strips?). I ordered my "go to" dish which is chicken enchiladas. Meh; the enchiladas were just fine, the rice was brownish in color (we're used to orange Spanish rice), the black beans didn't have a lot of flavor and refried beans are refried beans - hard to mess that up. My girlfriend got chile relleno and she was taken aback a bit that it had shredded chicken and onion in it (usually it just has cheese). She also pointed out that this was a Mexican restaurant, but there were no albondigas, no molè, no sopes, no guacamole nor sour cream anywhere in sight. And I pointed out no pictures of Vicente Fernández on the walls either. But what was good were the chips and salsa we had to munch on while waiting for our entrees - that I can recommend; good salsa. Three stars is the best I can do. Personally, we tried it, and we didn't find the experience that great where we need to go back again. And I don't want to give the impression that I'm trashing the place - it's a nice sit-down restaurant and if you're looking for some South Of The Border fare, then it's fine. But it's actually more Tex-Mex than "authentic Mexican."

When you enter the restaurant, you immediately see the bar with a television behind that played a movie during our visit. The chairs and tables are cheap and the walls are painted with hues of orange and purple. I tried the vegetable enchiladas. Before the entree arrived, we were given chips and salsa. Both were standard, but the salsa was served in a fun bowl-shaped tortilla chip. The enchiladas were okay, the black beans and refried beans were pretty bland, and the rice was blander still. Overall, I was not impressed with Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant and think there are better options in the area.

First of all the customer service was superb! The bartender even took the time to walk next door a grab me a tres leches cake since they were out in the restaurant. I got 1 each ofbeans/cheese and pork/cheese pupusas, menudo soup, and 2 pork tamales (they were out of chicken). It came with rice, cabbage, onions, cilantro, and a variety of sauces and salsa. I was craving tamales, I'm from the south, and thought this would do the trick. It didn't, completely different. But that was my own failed wishful thinking. I love Latin American food and everything was ok to me. I could tell it was all homemade and the soup was my favorite. The tres leches was different from what I'm used to. It didn't have as much extra milk and it had peaches. It was ok but I prefer the regular way better. Would I came back? Yes and try the tacos and maybe the chicken. Plus like I said the customer service was outstanding! And next time I think I'll eat in the restaurant instead of taking it to go.
