This is the single worst parking lot in the history of mankind. Before the pandemic it isn't any better. For instance, there's two entrances, both in opposite ends of the lot. One is almost always closed, while the other has the gate shut by 9 pm. You literally would have to drive the wrong way just to enter and by that time the only thing open in the lot is the McDonald's. Whoever owns this McDonald's is not very smart. Considering the fact that McDonald's is the largest grossing franchise and the single busiest business in the parking lot, one would think that they'd have some greater influence over the lot and the gates. I've passed up this place just because of that inconvenience and my grievance isn't all that petty. Just think of it like this. You see the Golden Arches but can't make it to the window without an obstacle course. On another note, I've never had much of an issue with the service or food here. I think a lot of the issues with the fast food industry would be human error or turnover. That's to be expected. However from seeing this places reviews I've seen a lot of negative things about this place. I'll give it a three only because I'd rather want to help this place than see it get worst. Fix the gate issue. And don't let your workers claim they shut down the system so they only accept cash and just pocket it. I know the game. I order an iced caramel coffee here and they never fail to meet my expectations. I came here today after a doctor visit and ordered my brother a cheeseburger combo with a large drink and fries, my boyfriend got the 10 pc meal with two Mchicken's. We noticed they forgot the 2 Mchickens and the one Large Fry, we went back and let them know and they didn't fail to accommodate us and they had no problem with giving it to us: they didn't even ask to see the receipt which I admire because it gives a sense of doubt. The Guy at the second window gave us an EXTRA LARGE FRY for the trouble and gave us the two mchickens and two large fries ! I really appreciate the gesture. I told them at the speaker that I had two mobile orders and was not asked for my codes and then held up the drive thru because the orders weren't pulled up AND paid for my FREE fish filet, thinking it was for another order, and when I asked the manager, she gave me attitude and refused to give me a refund. She even made the girl from the back come up to talk to me, and she lied to me saying that no error message or anything popped up saying my deal was invalid, and I know she lied because I've been with McDonalds for 3 years and know that it doesn't just take a coupon off without giving any form of an error message. I've been to this McDonald's a few times since it's across the street from one of my work sites. It's right on the corner of slauson and vermont. It's pretty easy to get to. The only issue I have with this place is that they are very inconsistent and stingy. A few times after leaving the drive thru, I've noticed that something was missing from my bag. Once, my fries, another time ketchup and today, they didn't add the sugar to my coffee... Sucks to drink bitter coffee. On another occasion, the woman at the window was giving me a hard time because I wanted an extra bbq sauce for my nuggets even though I offered to pay for it, also she only gave me one packet of ketchup and she got an attitude because I asked her for a couple more more. WTF?!? You would think it'd be coming out of their paycheck... I gotta say though, the customer service isn't always so bad. The girls that greeted me today were very nice and greeted me with a smile and a 'good morning'.
