Walked in a was greeted by Kymberly. Her great smile drew me to the counter to place an order. She walked me through my coffee and tea option and recommended the best seller. I picked up a go to coffee and ordered a large green latte. Very freaking and delicious. Not to sweet, just the way I like it. We love exploring local coffee shops and as we were in our way out of town, we wanted a drink for the road. This was one of the few options on the way. I got the the hot Thai tea and it was delicious! The owner was so genuine, knowledgeable and patient as I indecisively determined what I wanted. So grateful for finding out about this gem. I love that they have a rewards program and have their guest in mind when it comes to freshness and choices. The owner's passion for people and coffee/tea is so evident in the way he speaks. They have so many coffee options here , they as well have coffee beans for you to roast at home , love that they focus on non euro centric parts of the world for their coffee choices . They also have options such as matcha & Thai tea ! They have dairy free creamer options . They are as well black/Latino owned ! Love that . ALL VEGAN!! Except one thing that was out of stock lol but this is my new favorite place because I love the Japanese matcha! My babe liked the cacao blanco a lot and we shared the cacao. Omg and the treats aghhhhh we tried a few because we had a sweet tooth but that lemon cake one was ughhhh so good I was about to run inside and get their last two but I thought about the people who needed to try it and experience it ;) haha ahemandmydietahem the pumpkin loaf was good and their olive oil was good too! The owner just got back from Guatemala where he hiked the mountains to pick the beans. They are single source and pay their growers well. I got the medium roast from Tanzania and it was smooth and delish. They roast in house and their roaster is on display. Make the trek and support a business that is supporting the growers. read more

This was my first time trying vegan Vietnamese iced coffee. It was not bad for dairy free. I do like my drinks a little sweeter so next time I will ask for more sweetener. They have pastries available as well. When I went they only had vegan cakes, I am not sure if vegan is always their only option. The owner was there when I stopped by and he was nice and happy to explain the drinks. I can tell he's passionate about his business. Street parking available right outside. I will be back to try their other drinks, I want to try something hot next time. read more

What amazing coffee. All natural and vegan. The flavors of their coffee are unlike any I have had before. I had the Vietnamese coffee but bought several of their other unique blends to go. WOW! I am in awe of this coffee shop! This has got to be top 5 coffee shops I've been too. The coffee is so rich and flavorful and not overwhelmingly sweet from the syrups they add. I am so happy to have found this place because If you drive to fast you might miss it! This will be my new go to for of course the coffee but also the customer service as well. Pros: coffee variety, travel concept, roast their own beans. Room for improvement: building is a bit stuffy Tips: choose a flavor, choose hot or cold, choose country of origin, then size. Coffee del mundo is true to its name as they have an excellent variety of coffee from around the globe. It was really fun building our own coffees (check tip above for guide). It was our first time and the worker was very informative and pleasant. They worked with our preferences such as roast and caffeine tolerance. This was a nice place to study as they had good wifi, however, we found the place a bit hot and stuffy. Parking was a breeze. We opted for the cacao blanco and cafe de olla with El Salvador and Nicaragua roasts. Cacao blanco is the top selling flavor and was just the right balance of sweet and bold. The cafe de olla was just right and I would recommend both. Overall, very pleased with the service and drinks and can't wait to come back and try new combinations. read more

Easily one of the worst coffee spots I've tried--no real brewing setup, nothing house-made, not even their own syrups. The coffee tasted like something a kid could throw together. Pretty cool and unique coffee shop experience. Love the an appreciation towards a few different cultures. Not a super big menu, but would definitely come back and want to try all of their flavors! *WAIT TIME- no line around 2 pm on a hot Saturday afternoon. They made our drinks quickly and served it to us personally instead of just calling our names up, which was nice :) *AMBIANCE- even though there were only 2 employees in there, they still put in effort to make it welcoming as possible and greeted warmly upon entering. It felt like walking into a coffee shop combined with a healthy smoothie/juice shop. Inside felt a lot safer and secure than outside. *QUALITY- great! I asked for the sweetest coffee they have there and recommended the "cafe da" which was a Vietnamese coffee mix. I was nervous since they're usually super strong and more bitter than sweet, but this drink was perfect because it was sweet enough and not overwhelmingly strong. Fiancé got the 50/50 with oat milk, which she also loved especially since there was no added sugar. *CUSTOMER SERVICE- great! Employee behind the counter who was also the one making drinks while we were there was very helpful with recommendations. I just started working in the area and I was so ecstatic to come across Coffee Del Mundo!! They have the most delicious unique coffee flavors. They are true to their name! Every drink and brew is very detailed to a different county. So far I have tried their vegan Vietnamese coffee, hazelnut cocoa, and Columbia caramelo. They also have amazing pastries! They have perfected the brewing process. Can't explain, it is just clean! Smooth. Flavorful. Customer service is amazing. I have met a few people who work there. I can't recommended this place enough! The coffee is amAzin!!! As far as I know, great and high quality coffee is hard to come by in this community. I'm very lucky to live right around the corner but even if I didn't live near by, I'd come down as often as I can, this coffee is so unique! And it's coffee done right! If you don't know what to start with, feel free to ask the staff especially Jon he recommends nothing but fire My go to? Cold Camaroon or Ethiopian Cafe da Style! Had breakfast here and I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. The staff was super friendly and was there for our every need. After we ordered, I had not finished my first conversation yet and the food was on the table. The waffle was perfectly cooked. I absolutely love their Cafe De Olla Latte with Cold Foam, and I consider it the best I've ever had. I also really enjoy their vanilla latte too and love the fact that you can actually taste the vanilla. All of their syrups are made in-house and are delicious!! Recently, they made a banana latte and it's really good! They have a variety of lattes and all are distinct in flavor but each of them is delicious. No matter what you decide to get, you can't go wrong. Their banana breads and cookies are beyond delicious and they sell out of them for a reason. A must-try is also the bagels that they make, my favorite is the jalapeño cheese bagel. They set up on the side of their house and have a nice little seating area with plenty of shade and good music too. We always enjoy our time here and have great conversations with both. We always look forward to visiting them and cannot stop recommending them to our friends and family. A truly hidden gem. Stop by and enjoy a nice cafecito or matcha and their baked goods because you're in for a treat! Rocio and José are amazing, super friendly and very welcoming. Their love and dedication that they have for their business shows up in each cafecito that they make. Can't wait to go back!

So I looked for a coffee spot closer to the restaurant at which I could do some work. Alibi Coffee is only 10-15 minutes from the restaurant, which made it a good candidate--and off I went. It sits on the corner of Washington and Raymond Avenue. While there's one-hour parking on Washington, Raymond seems to offer unlimited parking (other than street cleaning days)--the friendly, helpful barista directed me over there. Inside, it's a tranquil, clean and comfortable environment that mixes contemporary touches with brick industrial vibes. I'm in my cream top era, so I decided to get their Trademark Cream Top Latte, which uses cold brew and house made cream with a hint of brown sugar. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte. I was warned it was a bit sweeter, but I'd like to see for myself. Wi-Fi seems solid, and there are plenty of outlets (yay!), so this was a great work spot. I'd definitely return anytime I needed to be in this area.

LOVE THIS CAFE…read more when i tell you i fell in love with this cafe, i fell IN LOVE. maybe it's the fact that it's a faith-based cafe but i felt a sense of peace here. the interior was super aesthetic, the inside was spacious, and the decoration was so nice. lots of seating, wifi is provided, and the drink was good. i had the fear not latte and i'm not a big fan of coffee but it was pretty good!! there's plenty of parking and the workers were so kind to explain each drink as well. will definitely be one of my go-to coffee shops when in DTLA.
