I ordered the Spanish latte and found it to be a little sweet for my liking. More of a coffee beverage than a latte. My friend got the matcha latte which had a faint matcha flavor. I thought it was a cafe but you just order from the wall and they have some chairs outside, although it was hot and sunny when I went. More of a grab and go place than to catch up with a friend. Jetty has become one of my fave and go-to coffee shops. I work nearby and can easily walk over to get my caffeine fix. Absolutely great service (sweetest baristas) and they have top-quality espresso beans that they roast themselves. I buy them and make lattes at home on my Breville :) If you are not an avid caffeine consumer, just know their coffee is strong - it will have you wired! My fave latte is the Iced Angeleno. It has espresso, cocoa, honey, and cinnamon. Their matcha is also one of my faves and it is strong. They use a ceremonial matcha that has a vibrant green color, which is exactly how you want it! They also have a good variety of alternative milks. I used to choose oat milk but have recently been focusing more on nut milks. I'm not the biggest fan of almond milk so I'm very happy that they have macadamia milk - tastes great! Jetty also has pastries. I've only had the mushroom one (which is amazing and smells like pizza) but I've heard their other pastries are delicious as well. read more

wow. first time coming here and I can confidently say that these drinks were amazing. They use ceremonial uji Macha, so it was deep and rich earthy flavors. I got the normal Matcha latte and it was amazing. The strawberry Matcha two was quite flavorful and the strawberry did not overtake the Matcha flavor. It was about six dollars for the Matcha and $7.25 for the strawberry Matcha as I got oat milk with it. overall five out of five, however it is important to note that there are only about two workers so it was pretty slow. It took about 10 minutes to get my drinks with there being only two others in front of me. read more

In addition, parking is a bit of a struggle since there's only street parking so keep that in mind when arriving to this coffee spot! Line was not too long and I got to order pretty quickly. my friend had recommended me this place before showing up to work so I got him a matcha latte while I got a strawberry latte. The workers were kind and answered my questions! However, when getting the lattes, it's hard to see the difference between both the regular and strawberry matcha latte. The worker was kind enough to label the lattes and I went to work. The strawberry latte was nice and earthy! I believe they blend the puree in beforehand and you can definitely taste the blend of flavors for the matcha! I would recommend this matcha to other matcha fanatics! TIP: Park a street further if there's no parking space near Jetty's! If you're walking from USC, GO THROUGH JEFFERSON. NOT 30TH. It is a ... much nicer walk in comparison. I'd probably extort someone into driving here next time since parking is super easy. It's a pickup window on Hill Street near Jefferson and it was busy. The baristas were super nice and helped me decide on the Angeleno, which has honey, cinnamon, and cocoa -- none of which are too overpowering. Very simple setting with few benches in front of the order counter, and it's not even dedicated patio but the pavement by the road. Having said so, you can surely tell the coffee must be distinctive that it continuously has long line throughout the day and people certainly don't come to just buy the vibes. You do need extra patience as it takes awhile until you're able to reach the front of the order line, then another wait for the drink. Nonetheless, the wait is completely worthy as I sip my Iced Angeleno, their version of sweetened iced latte with touch of chocolate and cinnamon. It's surely a reminder to Spanish Latte, but elevated with good quality coffee and chocolate. Randomly stumbled upon Jetty on my drive back home. Decided for some odd reason to take the streets instead of the freeway, saw the front of the store, busted a u-turn, ordered an Angeleno (iced), ham and cheese croissant, and a chocolate croissant. The coffee was so delicious. I'm already thinking of going back. The ham and cheese was okay- I've had better but it wasn't bad. Now the chocolate croissant was so good. A very small, (almost a literal hole in the wall) coffee counter on the outskirts of DTLA you will find this very popular coffee shop. The area around isn't the most clean and may be a bit of a deterrent to most but the product they serve is worth it. I ordered the strawberry matcha with a spinach and cheese pastry. The strawberry matcha looked absolutely identical to my friends' who ordered a regular matcha. I actually really enjoyed it! Even though it had no obvious strawberry identifier, it had just enough flavor to not be overpowering. And my spinach pastry was warm and flakey. I loved checking out this walk-up coffee shop for the first time recently! Great coffee with friendly staff warmly greeting you as you order and plenty of street parking around. I ordered the maple matcha latte along with a kanelbullar and a kouign-amann. My matcha drink was delicious and great for warming me up on the cold morning I visited. It had a great blend of matcha and maple flavor and was well-balanced. The pastries I got were both delicious and were a great snack to my drink and were some of the best I've had. The staff were helpful with any questions I had regarding the drink menu and they also do alternative milks for free at no extra charge. This is a fantastic new coffee shop and I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area! read more

There's not a lot of coffee places (that are not chains) by my house so Jetty being here is cool as heck. I'm a Maple Oat Latte stan but you can't go wrong here with any drink. Even their matcha is legit. The sweet pastries are good but the real standouts are the savory ones - the mushroom feta + the spinach feta (which can be warmed if requested) are delicious and crispy. Keep in mind this place is tiny and gets busy so expect to wait 20-30 minutes when there's a line. It's the cost of growing popularity but honestly the coffee is worth it! I hope they can add the option for to go orders in the future. Before I ever had Jetty, I loved this other place in the mid-Wilshire area and found out later that the beans were from Jetty themselves. It's a high quality bean, man!! Drinks remain consistently delicious no matter which barista is making them. They are always friendly and upbeat despite high volume which just makes a great start to your morning. Probably one of the best additions to south LA area, if you're in the area make sure to stop by. Jetty's is my go to for coffee drinks, but they do sell matcha and other teas. So far I've tried 4 drinks on their menu and I would highly recommend the Spanish Latte (iced or hot), the hazelnut syrup really takes this drink to the next level. It's a bit on the sweeter side but not extremely overpowering. I suggest giving it a try as is for the first time. The next drink is the Angelino (iced), I believe it's one of the favorite drinks on the menu, tastes similar to the Spanish late but it's less sweet and does not contain the hazelnut syrup. Can't go wrong with the vanilla late (iced/hot), it's pretty standard! And the last one is a cappuccino, for milk I use half and half to add creaminess and a sweeter flavor. There's plenty of street parking, but can get crowded around 8am (M-F), and around 9/10am (Sat-Sun). read more

Small coffee spot located in South LA close to the USC area. It's a small operation and I think they do their own roasting. It's not a big menu, but they have all the classics and some of their own creations. I was actually visiting USC campus and looking for coffee close by and found this place. I ordered the Angelina, which I thought was really tasty and well presented. Super easy to find parking close by and just pick up a delicious cup of coffee. Definitely would come back for more coffee or even to buy a bag of beans when my own supply runs out, ha ha. read more
