I ordered on my phone and i pick up and 3 mins later i noticed that my sausage McMuffin egg sandwich is missing the egg and i called and i told them and very rube the girls told "if u want u can came to replace them" not a sorry or please nothing and i went back and basically she just threw the bag to me. She is a latina, normal height and a little chubby and she didn't have the tag with her name and i was the same one that answered the phone when i call. I go here sometimes and because I don't go very often I forget how rude the cashiers are! These ladies are so rude it's almost funny until they get your order wrong. This is a McDonalds.... This I know as I begin my review of this location however just because its a "Micky D's" doesn't mean it doesn't nor shouldn't have particular standards; or at least thats what I tell myself as a consumer who is there to exchange a service for a fee aka: My money. Now I had the experience of calling this lil town located out in the middle of no man's land; home for 8 months..... so havning said that I am versed as well as entitled to review this local from a 'local' standpoint not just a traveler driving thru as so many do as well this lil town is just that; a "link" between major towns that one must drive thru in order to reach their destination. Although I wasn't Yelping much back when began living here I have frequented this location over 30+ times and unfortunately the experiences don't vary too much so will list pro's and con's below. PRO's: It's a McDonalds. They have a $1 menu and a drive thru. Its located on the primary hwy which is one of two ways in and out of this town. It's cheaply priced food and its hot; well most of the time its hot. +++ This is the strongest plus I can give them which is that currently the DO NOT charge for added condiments which far too many locations are now doing. Ketchup mustard and the beloved mayo to be exact. Courtousness: Actually the employees have the majority of the time been very pleasant and they smile and exchange dialogue with me which I like. CON's: They are not a 24hr location. MAJOR ISSUE with the drive thru. Since its conviently located on the main drag there the sounds from the passing cars in droves makes it nearly impossible for them to hear you or you to hear them so be prepared to raise the hell out of your voice and damn near scream your order into the speaker box which as of yesterday was on the fritz and I could only hear about ever 4th word from the order taker. CONVERSION from serving breakfast to lunch isn't until 11am. Now for me this was an issue as ALL others I've ever been to have always began that transition at 1030am. And I like my double cheeseburgers early in the day and a half an hour makes a difference. ERRORs errors errors: Its damn near impossible to get a correct order from this particular location. I have no idea why as I've tried on each trip to pete and repeat my orders and still my ordered items arrive in my bag either missing, all jacked up or with food I didn't even order which is why I strongly recommend that U check and recheck your bags before you exit. SLOW: Yep they are slow as molasses..... No other way to put it and don't waste your time going in as I did on two occassions thinking it might be faster on the inside. This would've been an average McDonald's but I was patiently waiting in line since it was long and one of the employees who went on break literally just cut the whole line and placed an order... What? Shouldn't the employee have waited in line like the rest of us? Anyway, I ordered a Jalapeno McDouble, 3 piece Mozzarella Sticks, and a Medium Fries. Worst McDonalds in Los Banos! You spend the entire time swatting away flies from getting to your food. In the summer, it sucks to eat there because they don't have the ac low enough to refresh the diner. In the winter have the heater so high it feels like a sauna. The managers here are incompetant at their job. They don't listen to the customers needs or care to meet their expectations. The one is just for the food itself. If you must eat from here, you're better off going through drive through and eating at home or the park. And don't bother going to the other McDonalds across town...they are even worse than this one. There was almost a 20 minute wait to order. There were two registers and only one was in use by a TRAINEE. She was very slow, and there were about 10 people in line. When I got to the register, she left the register to fix an ice cream. She gave me the wrong receipt and then couldn't figure out how to print the correct one. The restaurant was too hot. It was close to 100 outside and there was barely any A/C. I ordered a grilled chicken club, fries, and a chocolate shake. The meal came fast. The fries weren't great. The rest of the food was OK. Employee in the drive through window holds up the line talking to the car in front of us and doesn't know what we order and neither does the other lady in the second window. They messed up my order (order a sausage McMuffin without egg and get a ham egg and cheese McMuffin) and fail to ask if I want sugar or creamer for my coffee. Asked 3 different people in all 3 occasions of interactions for extra sauces with my meal, got reassured everything was in bags. Get home, no sauces whatsoever (which I paid the extra fee for) and all my fries and burgers were cold. The manager was nice when I called but food was garbage. Very poor experience and false advertising. I ordered a quarter pounder, went home, and weighted the burger, and it was not a quarter pounder on the scale. The fries that I received along with this meal were soggy and were partly just grease. Honestly, I can't even explain my frustration with the kids meals. Some of the toys that come with the meals are very bad quality and most often the special feature or mechanism doesn't work properly, and that disappoints children. Back when I was a youngster, the only toy that I got was an Indiana Jones toy, and I was finally happy at that time in my life. This is the the worst fast food restaurant in Los Banos. They totally suck. The only good thing they serve is their senior coffee. I purchased two Big Macs, a large fry, and two medium drinks. The hamburgers and fry were cold, the cheese on the Big Macs was even melted. And I asked for a unsweetened tea, and I got a sweetened tea. And this friggin food cost me over $15 bucks. I have received screwed up orders in the past from this poor excuse of a McDonald's. I only live half mile from this mcdonalds, my food should not have been COLD. Will call their 800 number tomorrow. I'm new to the area and have only gone to this McDonalds twice but it was sure better than the one in my previous city. The drive-thru person was super friendly(not mouthy), the fries were not cold and over salted, and the order was correct.
