This In N Out is located in Santa Nella, CA, where Interstate 5 and Highway 152 meet. This location has been here since 2011. To me, the interior and exterior still look pretty new. The parking lot is large. I usually use the drive thru versus dining in. They keep the lot and interior pretty clean considering the massive number of travelers pass through. The staff here have been great even when handling disgruntled customers that need a nap. The food and pricing is typical In N Out. Food is hot and nicely packaged. The burger patties are seasoned, having a good flavor. Grilled onions on point. Fresh fixings. Yum. Santa Nella is one of those long time pit stops along the I-5 corridor. The options for food have grown exponentially over the years. Of course In-N-Out Burger would plant itself a place here. Stopping here for a late lunch was quite the experience. Although somewhat secluded off the main road the signage to it can't be missed. They reach cell tower status in height. The place was packed with patrons. Even the outdoor seating, which is abundant, was overflowing, even with cold weather. I have to say they have their systems down pat and they know how to move product and people efficiently. The routine for ordering is like it is anywhere in this chain. Staff are always friendly and on the ball. Things move with precision! We ordered two No.2 meals with grilled onions and I immediately scouted out seating. Making a mad dash when a spot opened I planted myself firmly as a dozen others ran for that spot! The food was as to be expected, always consistently good and better quality than most places for the price. It was quick, satisfying and except for the crowd enjoyable. Oh, and why do so many folks own mega sized trucks and SUVs that barely fit in a parking space? Try navigating a mid-sized sedan between two of those "puppies" and trying to open the door to get out! The other observed, and rather sad, reality is the parking lot for the very long time institution, Andersons Pea Soup, was nearly empty. While traveling, we decided to go through the drive thru for lunch. This location is in a popular road trip stop hub & has a sizable parking lot to accommodate the volume of cars. Two workers went down the line to take orders. Despite the cold weather & how busy she was, the lady who took our order was cheery & personable. I was impressed that we scooted along at a decent rate. Service at the pay & pick up windows was friendly & pleasant. A request for a kid's activity & extra box was met with no problem. We ordered a Cheeseburger, Double-Double, & a 3x2, (all plain for less messy eating on the road). We requested less salt on 2 burgers. We also got 2 orders of fries, extra well done. Every time I am heading south on I-5 and get to Santa Nella, I head here for a quick bite or coffee. I like the coffee in particular because I can ask them to fill my traveling mug and sip on it for miles while I am driving. The team working in this location is fantastic. They are always smiling and ready to serve. They have a nice outdoor area where one can sit and enjoy the weather on a nice day or stretch and relax before heading back on the road. This was one of my favorite In-N-Out Burger locations and experiences with the chain. Ordering was relatively quick and the cashier was very sweet. She gave my little one a sticker sheet when we got to the counter to order. She also repeated the order to make sure all items were correct. The wait to get our food was not too long. I was able to ask for extra spread sauce once our number got called. Tables and seating was also kept clean. The food quality here at this location is what I hope all the In-N-Out chains aspire to consistently deliver. They actually had a good amount of veggies (lettuce and tomato) on the burgers rather than skimping out like some of my past experiences at other locations. Those of you that have ventured from the Bay Area/Sacramento to Los Angeles or vice-versa know that Santa Nella is a major "pit stop" for gas, food, and services. It is also home to the famous "Andersen's Pea Soup". However, since I was starving, I decided to make a stop at "In-N-Out Burger" to hold me through before the two-hour drive to Sacramento. Located directly on Henry Miller Ave. and adjacent to Highway 33 (Santa Nella Blvd) while is nearby Interstate 5, this is arguably one of the busiest In-N-Out locations in its entire franchise. We arrived here around 2:30pm on Sunday 10/13/2024 and as expected, it was packed to a capacity. However, the parking lot is massive and by the looks of it, this can accommodate several hundred vehicles. There is also a drive-thru and plenty of outdoor seating. The setup is similar to most of the other In-N-Out's and as chaotic as it was, I was able to place my order in less than a minute after entering. Even better was that I received my food in roughly 10 minutes. I had ordered a hamburger, order of fries (with no salt), and a regular sized drink. Even better is that I was able to snag booth seating which meant a flawless experience. As for the food itself, everything tasted fine with no hiccups. I can tell that the employees/staff are well-trained for handling a busy restaurant of this magnitude. There are several other locations alongside the I-5 corridor (Kettleman City, etc.) but this is one that attracts a lot of the Central Valley/LA/Bay Area folks. With that said and done, I am giving the Santa Nella "In-N-Out Burger" an above average four stars. read more

We don't have In-N-Out in WA State, so this was my first time. WOW! I am so impressed by the staff at this location. A young man standing next to the drive-thru ordering station took my order instead of a microphone. He asked if I was going to eat in the car or take the food elsewhere. I asked why that mattered, and he said they bag the food for home, or serve in a tray for the car. That blew me away--never had any drive-thru offer that option. I also noticed he was clean cut, well groomed, and enthusiastic in engaging me. At the payment window, an equally engaging co-ed took my payment and chatted with me until the line of cars had to advance. I asked if I could take her picture also, as I was a Yelp Elite. She agreed, and I captured her cleanly pressed attire and welcoming smile. At the delivery window, I asked why all the servers weren't in school, on a weekday. "We're mostly college students and they pay us well enough and accommodate our schedules" "Do you have to supply your own uniforms?" "No, only the pants if we choose to wear them, but we all like dressing up and looking nice!" I received my tray of food, laid out easily to manage while parked in a space in the lot. To make things even better, this location was not as busy as I am use to at my home in n out locations. We pulled up to the drive through and within 10 min we had our orders taken and handed to us. This time, I went with a double double mustard fried with raw and grilled whole onions. THIS BURGER WAS MASSIVE AND JUICY. Probably one of the best combinations ive had on a burger. If you do order mustard fried just keep in mind the burger does come with pickles automatically. But it was a great touch in my opinion. Overall I was beyond pleased with my meal. The consistency at In N Out is what makes them so great. It's always a great meal. My family and I got a total of 5 burgers and 1 grilled cheese, two animal fries, a small milkshake and a large drink all for $52 bucks. NOWHERE can't beat that nowadays. By far one of the best in n outs I've been to. We went through the drive thru during our road trip and the line was not too long. The line moved at a normal pace for an in n out and they got all our orders correct as well as gave us in the car boxes with the to go bag. The burgers were exceptional, they gave us a generous amount of veggies and spread which we all loved. Today my sister and I went to In-N-Out. We both wear hijab. At the first window, the girl her name was Mariya or Mariana didn't greet us, just took our cash and handed the change with clear attitude. I let it go, thinking maybe she had a long day. But at the second window, it got worse. We asked the worker, Samantha, for the first girl's name and explained how rude she was. Samantha looked at us and said, "That's good for you guys," then smiled like it was a joke. Not only do they each provide positive interactions, this in-n-out truly has the best quality food compared to other in-n-out locations in the bay area and the central valley. (Even the bathrooms were clean! Unfortunately rare to come by in fast food places these days.) I had to stop by and tell the manager what a great experience their staff had provided. Sure enough the manager acknowledged what a great team they have. Corporate should be rewarding this site, they must have well defined expectations and great teamwork. I always hit this In-N-Out when I head down to LA and for some reason this specific location makes the best burgers. I've been to a lot of locations from LA to the Bay and idk why the Santa Nella location tastes and looks better. Maybe because the employees care? Idk. The employees are always so friendly and helpful. I remember there was one time the cashier was singing Christmas songs after he took my order and that put me in a jolly mood, especially when I'm driving 4+ hrs on the I-5. Another time I asked for chopped chilies and the cashier informed me there was a shortage of the chilies they usually use so they weren't going to taste the same: respect for that honesty, but I didn't mind and still got the chilies. When I went through the drive thru, another time, the people taking my money & giving me my food had huge smiles on their face.
