My last burger was at Shake Shack up in Upstate New York on the 90 NY tollway near Rochester. No burger chain will ever beat this California Staple In-N-Out. And for dinner between the Kitchen at the Mission De Oro and In-N-Out, I went with the Double Double and Animal Fries. Itadakimasu

Every time I am heading south on I-5 and get to Santa Nella, I head here for a quick bite or coffee. I like the coffee in particular because I can ask them to fill my traveling mug and sip on it for miles while I am driving. The team working in this location is fantastic. They are always smiling and ready to serve. They have a nice outdoor area where one can sit and enjoy the weather on a nice day or stretch and relax before heading back on the road. I do not have to tell you about their delicious burgers and excellent fries! You already know that!

Stopped by pretty late at night and ordered at the drive thru. It wasn't too busy and it didn't take too long to get our food. I got their grilled cheese which was delicious. Staff were great!

Another city, another In N Out. As usual, the food was delicious and served quickly despite so many people being there for lunch. I recommend this location for the great food and service. It's amazing how consistent this brand is with the food and the service. Prices are very reasonable compared to other burger joints.

This was one of my favorite In-N-Out Burger locations and experiences with the chain. Ordering was relatively quick and the cashier was very sweet. She gave my little one a sticker sheet when we got to the counter to order. She also repeated the order to make sure all items were correct. The wait to get our food was not too long. I was able to ask for extra spread sauce once our number got called. Tables and seating was also kept clean. The food quality here at this location is what I hope all the In-N-Out chains aspire to consistently deliver. They actually had a good amount of veggies (lettuce and tomato) on the burgers rather than skimping out like some of my past experiences at other locations. My order of fries with extra grilled onions also actually had the extra part down pat :) Overall a great dining experience here. Kudus to the staff!

Those of you that have ventured from the Bay Area/Sacramento to Los Angeles or vice-versa know that Santa Nella is a major "pit stop" for gas, food, and services. It is also home to the famous "Andersen's Pea Soup". However, since I was starving, I decided to make a stop at "In-N-Out Burger" to hold me through before the two-hour drive to Sacramento. Located directly on Henry Miller Ave. and adjacent to Highway 33 (Santa Nella Blvd) while is nearby Interstate 5, this is arguably one of the busiest In-N-Out locations in its entire franchise. We arrived here around 2:30pm on Sunday 10/13/2024 and as expected, it was packed to a capacity. However, the parking lot is massive and by the looks of it, this can accommodate several hundred vehicles. There is also a drive-thru and plenty of outdoor seating. The setup is similar to most of the other In-N-Out's and as chaotic as it was, I was able to place my order in less than a minute after entering. Even better was that I received my food in roughly 10 minutes. I had ordered a hamburger, order of fries (with no salt), and a regular sized drink. Even better is that I was able to snag booth seating which meant a flawless experience. As for the food itself, everything tasted fine with no hiccups. I can tell that the employees/staff are well-trained for handling a busy restaurant of this magnitude. There are several other locations alongside the I-5 corridor (Kettleman City, etc.) but this is one that attracts a lot of the Central Valley/LA/Bay Area folks. With that said and done, I am giving the Santa Nella "In-N-Out Burger" an above average four stars.

This is supposed to be an "Extra Well-Done" Flying Dutchman.

Flying Dutchman "Extra well done" . 98% thrown away. My fault for giving this place another chance. I've literally never been served an actual well-done patty (no red) at this location. And there was only one person ahead of me in the drive thru so being too busy to notice won't suffice. Annoyed, grossed out and still hungry.

The young woman who took my order was all smiles and very nice & friendly. Such awesome customer met service should be rewarded Hi, how are you? Hi surprise light well myDouble- Double animal style is the only way to go. As usual very, very tasty - So besides a clean restaurant, great food and awesome service - this In-n-Out goes for the total win by having an area for your dogs to do their "business" - I've been across the US and back again- been to dog parks many states but have yet to find a big chain who goes to bat for your pups - and in this spot - the nearest dog park is at least an hour drive+ for here

We don't have In-N-Out in WA State, so this was my first time. WOW! I am so impressed by the staff at this location. A young man standing next to the drive-thru ordering station took my order instead of a microphone. He asked if I was going to eat in the car or take the food elsewhere. I asked why that mattered, and he said they bag the food for home, or serve in a tray for the car. That blew me away--never had any drive-thru offer that option. I also noticed he was clean cut, well groomed, and enthusiastic in engaging me. At the payment window, an equally engaging co-ed took my payment and chatted with me until the line of cars had to advance. I asked if I could take her picture also, as I was a Yelp Elite. She agreed, and I captured her cleanly pressed attire and welcoming smile. At the delivery window, I asked why all the servers weren't in school, on a weekday. "We're mostly college students and they pay us well enough and accommodate our schedules" "Do you have to supply your own uniforms?" "No, only the pants if we choose to wear them, but we all like dressing up and looking nice!" I received my tray of food, laid out easily to manage while parked in a space in the lot. The fries were super hot. The burger full of the fresh condiments of my choice (double onions, in case you're curious). Inexpensive to boot! I drove away thinking that In-N-Out puts McDonald's to shame. The energy level of the staff, and the thoughtful attention to what customers care about--the whole experience gives me great faith in America returning to the time-honored values that made our country the envy of the world. (Yes, I'm 77 years old and I remember when businesses took a personal interest in their customers) Bravo IN-N-OUT !

THIS LOCATION IS AMAZING. Was passing through on the 5 and got hungry and of course it was a NO BRAINER to my a pit stop at In N Out for our family dinner. To make things even better, this location was not as busy as I am use to at my home in n out locations. We pulled up to the drive through and within 10 min we had our orders taken and handed to us. This time, I went with a double double mustard fried with raw and grilled whole onions. THIS BURGER WAS MASSIVE AND JUICY. Probably one of the best combinations ive had on a burger. If you do order mustard fried just keep in mind the burger does come with pickles automatically. But it was a great touch in my opinion. Overall I was beyond pleased with my meal. The consistency at In N Out is what makes them so great. It's always a great meal. My family and I got a total of 5 burgers and 1 grilled cheese, two animal fries, a small milkshake and a large drink all for $52 bucks. NOWHERE can't beat that nowadays. Don't sleep on this INO location. Super good and always a great meal. Do your life a favor and stop by.

Animal style cheeseburger and animal fries. Some of the best I've had!

By far one of the best in n outs I've been to. We went through the drive thru during our road trip and the line was not too long. The line moved at a normal pace for an in n out and they got all our orders correct as well as gave us in the car boxes with the to go bag. The burgers were exceptional, they gave us a generous amount of veggies and spread which we all loved. As all the SoCal locations skimp out on everything, it was nice to get a burger loaded with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The fries were perfectly done and they did animal style right. Everything was fresh and made as expected. Great experience and kind workers.

The food is fresh as always it was a lunch stop. I have been at this location before the service was great. The ambiance was amazing there was no line but it was not crowded cause it was a Monday we were traveling home my dad and I stopped for lunch. The drive through was pretty long as always but that's good. In N Out never disappoints.

With as many signs on the freeways as Andersen's has in California promoting their famous split pea…read moresoup, one would think they would be prevalent everywhere. In reality, there are/were only two: the original location (and now closed since 2024) in Buellton and this location in Santa Nella. It turned out that we needed to take a break and gas up around lunchtime very close by, so decided to stop in for lunch. It ended up being OK. This second location has been open since 1976 and is located in a huge building with tons of seating and a large retail space. It has a separate downstairs dining room (available if your party is large), a large bar in the back (open during lunch though only one person was in there), and an upstairs not accessible during lunchtime. We came at exactly 11:00 and they had begun serving lunch. We were led to our seats, and someone came by with water. There seemed to be some confusion on who was supposed to serve us, and we were ignored for a while, even as other folks were being seated. Finally, a waitress came back (guessing she wasn't our original one, but had to pivot) and took our order. Not particularly friendly in the beginning (ended up being talkative at the end as my wife had struck up a conversation), but got our order correct. The food came out soon after, and it was served all together and was still warm when we got them. My wife and I have been to the Andersen's in Buellton and had slightly different memories of how good the split pea soup was. We ordered a cup ($6.99), and didn't even have to tell the waitress what kind of soup we wanted. The soup was good for the first couple spoonful, but didn't end up finishing it; glad we ordered a small cup. My wife and her mom split a Teriyaki Chicken dinner ($21.50) and they liked it: nothing fancy, just one chicken breast grilled and topped with bottled teriyaki sauce and a pineapple slice. I got the Danish Style Meatloaf ($21.99, was planning to share with my wife) and it seemed well made with generous portions, but neither of us liked it (the pork/beef mixture with breadcrumbs was very finely ground and reminded me of a mealy German sausage without the casing). Both the soup and meatloaf would have been good as small samples from a buffet while grazing, but are difficult as a main course for our taste. Both plates came with a from-frozen vegetable medley (broccoli, carrots, and zucchini), along with a rice pilaf for the chicken plate. We did buy some trinkets at the gift shop. I wanted to get a Danish, but ended up sharing a Cinnamon Crisp, a giant cookie covered in cinnamon sugar. It was really good, definitely worth the $5.50 price.
