Drive thru is a mess with two people in the back window wanting to play around more than actually taking orders, telling you "hold on" and leaving you at the speaker for 5 mins when you can just see them playing on their phones. Somehow they manage to mess up your order every time and will ask you to pull forward to a "holding spot". Don't move from that window because you will have to go inside to get something corrected, defeating the purpose of a drive through. Fries are often under cooked and still have that half raw starchy taste and still be room temperature. Going inside feel like a drab of having to do your own ordering where the screens are sticky and barely work. Somehow even if you double check the order that you entered on the screen and make sure it's right, the assembly line of people can't or won't read it anyway. This one should've been the one to close down instead of the taco bell that used to be across the street. Of the lesser of two evils this one was by far the worst option, that even the homeless won't even stand around and beg for the terrible food. read more

Ordered on the app, went through the drive thru. There was a long line but they where very fast. The food was hot and delicious. The only complaint was I asked for no ice in my drink and the girl in the drive thru said she put a little ice in it. She knew she had made a mistake but did not offer to make another drink with no ice. Looks like plenty of parking. Parking lot looks clean. read more

McDonald's located in Lousiville Kentucky right at the Phillips lane and Preston Highway intersection just down the street from the Kentucky fairgrounds. Because of its location near the fair and expo center and Kentucky kingdom there are days that this establishment can have lengthy lines. Especially on event nights. Historically this location actually does a good job processing the lines and getting your orders correct. I'd say they are above the average compared to other local McDonald's locations. As for the food most people know if they like McDonald's are not by now. For me it's not my favorite. My younger kids like it. I prefer there breakfast menu personally. Egg McMuffins are always nice. Overall a solid location in a very great location for business I'm sure. read more

Terrible, don't go for louder than life because they'll make the water scalding hot when you go after. Will never go again. LTL brings in a lot of money & this mcds just wants to shot on the customers. Ridiculous money hungry rude people. We just got of of the first day at Bourbon & Beyond. This place was jumpin' and the crew working was badass! Everyone was getting their food like is was no big deal. It was very impressive to watch. Attending an event at the fairgrounds and tried this McDonald's, was pleasantly surprised. This was the cleanest McDonald's I've ever been to, despite being fairly busy the orders were processed quickly and correctly. Our sandwiches were neatly stacked (which NEVER happens at other McDonald's) and the food was hot! The employees were very nice and from what we could see everyone was working hard, no one was standing around or on their phones. Will definitely be back next time we're in town and want McDonald's. read more

We ordered the "Glazed Pull Apart Donut" The picture on the wall looked great so we thought why not. First off, if they heated it up a few seconds in the micro wave would've improved it a million times. It wasn't heated up making it a bit dry and stale. It was heavily glazed but that didn't improve the experience. My only advice would be is to heat it up a bit. read more

This is the best McDonald's in Louisville. I will drive out of my way to go to this McDonald's when there are 3 locations much closer. The buns are always fresh and they still steam the buns for the Filet o Fish. The drive-thru line moves fairly quick and they usually get the order correct. read more

Exactly what you expect and want from a McDonald's when you have succumbed to the siren song of french fries. I have never once had an issue at this location. Ordering, paying, and pick up at drive-thru has always gone smoothly and without problems. My food order has always been correct. The staff has been as pleasant as one would expect from fast food employees. When I have asked for something extra or for a replacement of a utensil or something, the request has been fulfilled without grumbling. When a quick, cheap-o burger or some french fries are in my cards....this is a decent place to get them on the fly. There are FAR WORSE McDonald's in the area. read more

I had stopped going to all McDonald's because it was Always Something. My 4 year old had a rough day at the doc, with 4 booster shots, and all he wanted was a happy meal burger! So, I reluctantly stopped, at 3350 Preston hwy, ordered our food- which went Very Very Well, and went to the next faze, payment window. All of the employees at this location were Excellent! It was discovered today that the McDonald's corporation made an egregious decision to remove the fan favorites hot n spicy mcchickens from their menu. The lack of market awareness displayed by a company who claims to spend millions of dollars a year on marketing is comical. The need to take a popular item off the menu in hopes of creating future hype and buzz for its return is extremely unnecessary, and a pathetic effort to stay relevant. A wise man once said if it ain't broke then don't fix it, and I can only speak for myself but I have a great feeling that the spicy mcchicken has been doing far better than the regular mcchicken and for them to take it away just shows they don't truly have the customers desires as a priority. Honestly, this McDonald's has never disappointed me. Since it is located right by my work, I often stop by for a quick breakfast sandwich when I need to eat. I usually frequent this location at less popular times, and almost always get something off of the all day breakfast menu. Honestly, the day McDonald's announced their all day breakfast was a happy day! You can't go wrong with their breakfast choices like a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, or the classic McMuffin sandwich. Then again, if I make it during their actually breakfast time, I usually order a McGriddle. I can say, that I have never been inside this store, so I cannot comment on the cleanliness, but the drivethru has always been very fast and friendly. Staff is nice but disorganized. The coffees are a shot in the dark you never know if the coffee machine will be broken and you'll have to go around again or if it'll be good. Example of disorganized staff is we ordered hot chocolate, paid and then pulled up and they told us it was broken and offered us a soda instead...we paid and came for a hot chocolate and just wanted a refund and we had 4 workers trying to tell us we wanted soda instead. This McDonald's is the best one I've ever been at. Always clean, nice staff. Some of them apologize for forgetting to give me a napkin. They make sure all of our food is correct and make sure we have all the things we need. My fiancé and I love coming here. I usually don't like McDonald's because they're rude or their food is undercooked. But this store always has fresh food. Like I said, the staff is extremely nice and respectful. They make the best ice coffee and their ice cream machine seems to always be working. read more

This is by far the BEST McDonald's you will ever come across. I have been to this McDonald's at variable times and days of the week over the past couple of years and they have consistently proven how great a McDonald's can be. Everyone who works there tries very hard to make sure they give their customers fresh food that is prepared how it was intended. They go above and beyond what a McDonald's worker does. It is always clean on the inside and out (they even have McDonald's workers go out in the parking lot to keep the grounds of their fast food restaurant tidy -- seriously they SWEEP the parking lot). I frequent this location a lot throughout the year. I have early morning meetings on occasion and I call ahead with a large order. I have never waited one minute for the order when I arrived to pick up. With all my travels, I have stopped at many Mcdonalds locations but this one is the best ran of all of the others.
