For todays service, i give it a 2 star. I have mixed feelings about this McDonald's. The service is usually great, and there are several employees who consistently get my order right every time. However, whenever the same employee takes my order, there seems to be a problem. I regularly order a HOT coffee with 3 creams and 3 or 4 sugars. I make it very clear and often repeat my order to avoid mistakes. One time, I ordered a hot coffee with 3 creams and 3 sugars and received an iced coffee instead. Another time, I ordered a hot coffee with 3 creams and 4 sugars. I got the coffee with cream, but there was no sugar at all. Most recently, I ordered a HOT coffee with 3 creams and 4 sugars and repeated it twice. When I looked at the order screen, it showed 3 creams and only 2 sugars. I questioned it and was told, "It comes like that," but was assured my order was correct. When I got to the drive-thru window, I was handed an iced coffee again. How did they get ICE coffee from HOT? I pointed out that I ordered a hot coffee, so I had to wait for a fresh pot to be brewed. Before leaving, I asked the employee handing me the replacement coffee if it had 3 creams and 4 sugars, and she said yes. Unfortunately, when I tasted the coffee, it had little to no sugar and didn't seem to have the correct amount of cream either. The coffee tasted off, and I ended up throwing it away. This has happened multiple times with the same employee taking my order. Mistakes happen, but repeated order inaccuracies are frustrating, especially when I take the time to clearly repeat my order. Going forward, I feel like I have to check and taste my coffee before driving away to make sure it's made correctly. I appreciate the staff members who consistently provide excellent service, but I hope management addresses this issue so orders are prepared accurately and consistently. read more

Okay so this was a weird one, I go to drive thru at midnight and order my food like a an ordinary customer in which I ordered a 10 piece nuggets and a large fry , the speaker was polite about my order as he rang me up, So now i pull up to the window and theres three windows , one was closed and theres the other two, that says pickup 1 and pickup 2 so i pull up to the nearest window thats says pickup 2 ands theres the crew member no offense fat spanish women handing me my food no biggie, so i get my food and then theres this grey car in front of me who is at the other window, mind you i saw him already grab his food so im just waiting for him to drive but no hes still at the window so im like okay i guess ill wait until he pulls up, then the spanish lady opens her drive thru window and randomly starts yelling "drive up!", so at this point im confused is she talking to me? or the grey car in front of me, so i pulled down my window and politely asked "are you talking to me?" I get No reply then im like okay then shes must be talking about the grey car, until then she repeatedly opens her drive thru window just to keep yelling drive up and the grey car is still there unresponsive and im unable to drive up because of the gray car so at this point im thinking whos at fault here me or the grey car because i did ask her you talking to me? But then i get nothing and the grey car is unresponsive, the spanish lady then rudely repeats her yelling so much at this point im about to get upset about this whole situation so i manage to drive up beside the grey car to exit the restaurant and as soon as I drive up the grey car finally pulls up behind me as i leave and i just got pissed throughout the whole thing, I don't who was at fault here but all I know is that I am not coming back to this specific Mcdonalds restaurant, not that the food is bad, it was actually good, it was just that whole situation was a misunderstanding and I hope you treat the customers better whoever the old spanish lady was. read more

As I wait in line the woman taking orders leaves to go help fill orders at the drive through. As we wait another woman yells "we are asking customers to use the kiosk" 8 of us in line and not one moves to use the kiosk. The register woman comes back over and takes two more orders. One man leaves. They are understaffed and hoping that people will just do their jobs for them by using the app or the kiosk, no one had any interest in using the technology, including myself. Once breakfast came out, it was fresh and hot... it was mcdonalds so you know exactly how the food was, it is service and not food that sets one McDonalds apart from another. read more

This is a review of the female "manager" at McDonald's (803 Rogers Street, Lowell, Mass, to the left of Hannaford's Supermarket) who usually is on at about 10:30 P.M. during the evening. My last visit was on 1/8/2019 (Tuesday) at 10:38 P.M., which prompted this review. She (employee KS #15?) is a heavy set woman whom I believe is bilingual (English and Spanish?) who has unsightly tattoos on her arms. My issues with her are as follows: 1) She is always running her fingers through her hair, while handling customers food/orders. I don't want her hair and dirt on my food, 2) I've never seen her wash her hands, even after handling money, then touching peoples food/drinks (money harbors e-coli, a major cause of foodborne pathogens which causes diarrhea), 3) she constantly and repeatedly calls customers "Sweetie", "Sweetheart", "Hun", "Honey", or "Love". I have no relationship with her (nor do I want to), and she insist on doing this, despite my multiple objections. She will call customers these unwarranted terms of endearments, which is actually inappropriate, unprofessional, condescending, and not welcomed!, and 4) she's argumentative with customers if there's discrepancies of food orders between the drive-thru and the take-out window. Shouldn't the customer be right, and be treated with respect if problems arise in miscommunication or other benign problems arise? I wonder if the store manager and/or the store owner/s are aware of her behaviors??? This store "manager" (if she is a manager like she claims) is definitely hurting business, which is why I give this McDonald's Restaurant a 1 star at this time. read more

It's McDonald's. Grading it against regular restaurants is unfair. Nobody is looking at Yelp to see if they should go Mickey D's or Ruth's Chris. That said... As far as McDonald's go, it's pretty good. Service is quick and efficient. My orders have never been messed up, even if I ask for something "off standard". They are consistently mediocre. From their morning drive thru cashier with the persistent cough, to their half filled fry containers, to the burgers that look like they were put together in the dark by untrained primates. Avoid it. They are just up the street from me and I'm done. I should have listened to myself. I went back today Oct 23 2019...they forgot the cheese on my double quarter pounder with cheese. Warning... if you think that the drive thru line will be convenient or even fast.... think again. On Wednesday around 7:10pm this week I visit this McDonald's location for what I thought would be a quick dinner to grab for my kid who just finished hockey practice and I hadn't been home from work yet to make anything. Wrong. I entered the confusing drive thru line confused as to how there isn't a collision when two lines bottleneck into one but placed my fairly simple order.... milkshake, crispy tender meal and qtr pounder meal. With the exception of asking for no onions I thought it was simple. I proceeded to pull up to pay only to be met by another customer pulling up to pay and don't know who should go first. He waved me on so I quickly paid and was directed to window 1. Great. Window 1 have me my soda. 3 minutes later told me to pull up to window 2. Weird but okay. Off I went. This was at 7:15. At 7:25 I was still at window 2 and nobody had come to give me food or the milkshake. At this time I watched 4 cars who were behind me in line get handed their food and drinks at window 1 but still nothing for me. Looking around I couldn't see anyone near window 2 to get their attention so I called the restaurant. For 32 rings nobody answered. At 7:30 a young man came up and asked why I was there. I told him I was directed here to get my food. He snatched my receipt looked at it and then handed it back. At that point I mentioned that it's been 15 minutes at this window with no food. What's going on? He said it's coming right now and walked away. At 7:34 a woman came up and handed me 2 bags and 2 coupons for chicken nuggets. I asked for the milkshake once again handing over my receipt and she snatched it rolled her eyes and stomped away. Meanwhile my son looks through the bags. Chicken tenders are there, qrt pounder, 1 fry and then chicken nuggets and a whopper. When the woman came back I told her the food was wrong. Once again annoyed by my desire to get what I paid $23 for she snatched the bag and stomped away. It is now 7:40. I've been at McDonald's for 30 minutes in a drive thru line. I'm pissed beyond belief. I look longingly at Hannafords across the parking lot knowing that I could have gone there in this time frame and gotten a frozen meal and taken it home and microwaved it. I'm such an idiot. Finally she's back with my bags and like an idiot again I asked her to confirm that there are no onions on the qtr pounder. An exasperated sign and a disgusted yes and I took her at her word. Then I had the nerve to ask for straws. Those were tossed at me and the window was slammed shut. Geesh! At this point as I try to pull away, I note the 24th car to be fed before me and shake my head in disbelief. My son then tells me his tenders are cold and soggy (definitely not crispy as advertised) and then his milkshake tastes really weird. The shake is tossed as I am sure that there was a disgusting extra ingredient added and then I open my qtr pounder. To find it so completely full of onions it was like I could have make French onion soup. Gross Never again will I go to this McDonald's. I knew better. My son deserves healthier food and I guess I need to just forget about taking a shortcut to feeding him. Maybe Burger King has a clue about fast, friendly, accurate service! read more

My brothers and i were on our way to maine passing through to grab food at McDonald's because its the only place open at midnight. We ordered a mcchicken sandwich 10 pc nuggets with fries and a coke and a spicey chicken sandwich with a double cheeseburger. He took our order told us to pull up to the window. Well theres 3 windows... we waited for a few minutes at each window until someone finally came and asked what we ordered. We told him he took the cash for the order which we paid exact change. The worker then comes back with the food and says sorry we don't have chicken... We're like ok well can we get a quarter pounder instead he's like yea just give me a minute. He leaves our food at the window for 5 minutes then comes back takes the bag then a minute later comes back and gives us the food. He says have a goodnight we're like thanks you too!! My brothers and i are in the car debating to check the bag before leaving because this is McDonald's, we're like nah it should be good took them 15 minutes to get the order together you'd think it would be correct. Nope!! forgot the fries and the double cheeseburger. $20.19 for a mcchicken sandwich 10 nuggets medium coke!! I immediately call them asking for the missing items and he said to come back we come back and the line is 10 cars back. Im on the phone with him like can you bring it to the front door so we don't have to wait in the line again for our food we already waited 15 minutes for. Nope for security reasons he can't do that we have to go through the drive thru again. At this point my heart rate was at 54 when placing the order now at 115 (measured by my apple watch). Furious that i got robbed by McDonald's i now will never go through the drive without checking the bag and not going to this specific location because of the stress this caused me. read more

I probably hit this drive-thru late at night at least once a week and the fries are always hit or miss. The 24 hour dollar menu is amazing when you don't want to spend 8 dollars on a snack. Also, you can even eat in the place 24 hours a day, which I wish was available when I was younger and without a car and my local McDonald's wouldn't let us walk/ride a bike/rollerblade through the drive-thru. read more

One of if not the first McDonalds in Massachusetts. I can remember this restaurant in the same location from decades ago. It originally had the double golden arch built into the building with limited if any seating. Today it is a typical McDonald's experience with a touch of history if you grew up in the area.
