McDonalds will always be... okay..? I guess. Well, we ventured on over to try their international items. The Stroopwafel McFlurry was awesome, just make sure you mix that thing up! All the waffle bits at the bottom. The Grand Mc Extreme Bacon burger was insanely good. I didn't expect MD to throw it down like that, but they did! 10/10 must try. The tomato mozzarella chicken sandwich was a 6/10, wasn't anything crazy. The Cheesy Bacon fries were good, wish they cooked the fries longer tho. All in all, McFlurry and bacon burger and your good to go.

I will never eat at this location again. I went there on Halloween night to get food after trick or treating. The night manager is always unprofessional. He was giving out free food to people he knows. Telling the employees to cancel Uber orders because he didn't want to do them. Someone had a baby in a car seat in the kitchen on top of a box and they have roaches all around the drink station and front counter area. This is very discussing they need a hole new night shift including the manager. And they have the nerve to have the inside open 24 hours now. They can't handle that at all I waited 40 mins for my food and it still wasn't right. I was told I couldn't get a refund because I didn't have a receipt when I was never given one in the first place. I really wish they had the option to give them no stars because they are horrible.

So I wouldn't usually bother to review a McDonald's but this one makes me so mad so often I felt the need to announce it to the world. Open 24 hrs? Ha! They are always closed without explanation (though I see you inside!) from 3-5 a.m. The way my schedule is, this is a regular meal time for me. How hard is it to say "Open 22 hrs"? I could forgive you then.

This is a great little neighborhood hangout spot with decent food that never seems to be too busy to grab a table. It can be tricky to walk into a popular restaurant in this area without a reservation these days, so it really stands out when we find a spot that we don't have to plan in advance to dine at. There's also free parking for up to two hours in the attached lot, which is a win-win. Service is pretty quick, and the prices seem spot on too. My husband's current go-to is the "Good Neighbor Combo," which is probably one of the best meal deals in town. You get a classic cheeseburger, fries, and a beer for $13! I've tried a couple of different burgers, and my favorite so far is their ANM.L. Style. Their Cajun dry rub wings are also delicious, as are their waffle fries.

They showed up burnt on the outside, not tossed in buffalo and with pickles (I hate pickles). Waitress never returned to check on us. After waiting for 15 mins I decided to just eat because was short on time. She still didn't not stop at our table to check on us. But could see her in the back talking to the other staff standing around. We waited another 10-15 mins for her to come give us the check but still never asked how it was. I also had to flag her down to get another sweet tea. Food was not great and service even worse.

There is plenty of seating as this restaurant is in a large food hall. The staff was very friendly and our order came out rather quick! I'm back home now, but to this day I still think about the flavors of this burger... it was hands down one of the best burgers I have had in a long time! I ordered the Farm Burger without the egg and it was incredible! When you take your first bite all the flavors explode in your mouth. Instead of French fries I opted for tater tots and I loved that this was an option! They were made to perfection and nice and crispy! My boyfriend ordered the White Oak BBQ Burger. He said he really liked it and it was delicious. He opted tater tots as well, and he said they were exactly what he wanted. After trying a bite of my Burger he said next time he's ordering that one! I can't wait for the next time we go back to Nashville so we can go back to Pharmacy Burger!

Mustard was killer. Sides were all mid (chili, sweet potato fries, German potato salad). Sat on their patio and it was a fly attack. Kinda ruined the experience. They make their own soda syrups from real fruit and that was a highlight. Waitress was great. Busser who delivered the food couldn't identify various types of sausage which was weird.

I am of course talking about arriving in a new city and embarking on a quest to find the best burger. In Nashville burger lover circles, Grillshack is often noted as one of the establishments. It's been here in East Nashville since the year 2013. Yes, same year when Breaking Bad came out and when Miley Cyrus twerked on the award stage. The spot is ran by a husband and wife duo Steve and Susan Richter, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients like locally baked buns from Charpier's Bakery and ingredients from Bear Creek Farm. The burger is executed in a highly classic way, with only the cheese, the meat and the bun combined, with all else on the side. The result is a fairly small, enjoyable burger, but with a very heavy bread to meat proportion (that is a matter of preference). The meat is a bit in the drier side and not particularly rich in flavor, but the burger is well composed and does not fall apart. There are a few tables outside to sit under a covered area and enjoy an American classic. In other words, Grillshack is a staple neighborhood local joint for those in the know and those who have a particular like towards this style: bread heavy, minimalistic and dry crispy texture to the meat. Not necessarily all bad things, but a matter of preference.

But you can't pass the up the tortillas and queso, fresh, hot tortillas, so good! It's a little tight on space and if you aren't into a bustling, loud scene, may not be the place for you. But it was worth it. Would come back for sure.

We heard about Redheaded Stranger from a coworker in another state that had seen it on The Food…read moreNetwork. Word was passed down to us and we decided to try it. Now, I should have read about the parking situation on Reddit before coming here because boy, is parking rough. You either have a few street parking options (in which neighbors get upset, rightfully so), or you fork up the $25 for paid parking across the street. Well, only paid parking was available and I wasn't about to get scammed. So, we decided to do pickup (which was not available for online ordering at the time due to how busy they were). My husband went in and waited about 45 minutes or so while I sat in the car, sitting pretty in the driver's seat in paid parking without actually paying. Loopholes. Now, if it weren't for the atrocious parking situation, Redhead Stranger is absolutely a 5 star joint. 10/10. However, if you're going to cook up some delicious grub and be so amazing that you're featured on The Food Network, at least get the parking figured out. I mean, they literally have a roped off section for people waiting to get inside as if it's some club. This is a popular hamburger spot and maybe they don't need a designated parking area, people WILL figure it out because it's just that good. Clearly, Redheaded Stranger is doing just fine without people like me griping about the parking. We ordered their popular Green Chile Cheeseburger and yes, you do need to order it. It doesn't look amazing when you open the wrapper but the flavor is all there! My husband hates on smash burgers but this? Oh. He loved this. We also ordered their totchos and the frito pie, which were both good, but the totchos being more memorable and more delicious. We also ordered a barbacoa taco and the brisket taco. Now, if I would have known how good that brisket taco was, I would have skipped paying for the frito pie and totchos and would have ordered a handful of the brisket tacos instead. The meat was so flavorful and melted perfectly into the homemade tortilla. Lord have mercy, that brisket paired with the green chile cheeseburger had me nearly acting like Meg Ryan. If you know, you know. I've also never seen my husband devour food like he did, which was the opposite of what I did. I savored every bite and saved some for later because I knew it'd be awhile before I'd ever attempt parking here again, which sucks...because the Redheaded Stranger is SO good.
