Approximately 930am on Friday the 27th of March 2026 I was sitting in the parking lot at the Dorsett location, drinking my coffee. Peripherally, I see a car backing in the spot next to me while I'm watching a video when suddenly I hear the woman next to me yelling some nonsense, my window was up while she wants to know why I called her a bitch. I've been up and down on this McDonald's the last few years, at one point refusing to give them my business and saying I'd never be back because of their service... So what changed? Well someone gifted me a gift card at Christmas time and then McDonald's started running their $5 meal deal promo and I decided I'd try it... I've been a few times in the last 2 months and the experiences have been good. I've ordered the $5 meal deal the last couple of times that I went. My order was correct every time. My food was hot and tasty (it's not gourmet, but it's good). The time from order to receipt was quick. Sauces were on point - SWEAR McDonald's has the best bbq ever and I'd love to buy it by the bottle! Drink area was clean and available. When I came through the drive through the line was quick and efficient. The speaker was clear and I could understand the employee. I love that this location has a small patio and it's clean. I've enjoyed eating out there in the fresh air. This location also has wi-fi which is nice. Service is still hit and miss. No one was rude on my visits, but they also weren't what I'd call helpful or friendly... More like "I'm here". I don't love ordering at the kiosk, yes I am person who asks lots of questions... This is the absolute worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Not only are the workers incredibly rude (first window almost always practically throws the receipt at you and slams the door, the second window employees can sometimes be nice but one specific lady always tries to pick fights with people about their orders. ive also seen this happen with my mom and boyfriend w/ the same lady. obviously I don't expect 5 star treatment from a McDonalds but WOW so unprofessional and rude.) There's also been a time where I had ordered my food on the app (breakfast, order placed at 10, it was a weekend so breakfast hours last until 11) and I got a notification that my food was ready at 10:50, I got to the restaurant a bit after 11, probably 11:05-11:10, I was handed a single hash brown and was obviously confused, the girl at the window seem confused as well so she went to grab the manager who told me that since I arrived past breakfast hours I couldn't get my food. While I understand places are typically strict about their serving hours, I was told my order was READY at 10:50, and I assume they don't just throw the orders out once the clock strikes 11. I explained to her that I had used my in app points to redeem a breakfast sandwich (I also purchased other things with my card) and she told me I'd get a refund. I didn't. My points weren't restored and the charge wasn't refunded. I get this could've been an app issue, but cmon, you had my food ("Order is ready, head to mcdonalds location to pick up" or something along those lines) and you could've just given it to me considering i had already paid, and even if you absolutely couldn't, i expect them to give me a refund on both my card AND my points. The last situation happened today, which inspired me to finally write this review, I had a decently large order (3 sandwiches and an M&M mcflurry). Inside my mcflurry were two long black hairs (I didn't get a pic, just threw it away. Also, I'm blonde and nobody else was in my car), on one of my chicken sandwiches there was mayo literally flowing out the side (I had ordered extra mayo to be entirely fair, but MY GOD it was sopping) and on the spoon for my mcflurry there was some brown liquid INSIDE the wrapper. (Image below) TLDR: employees are horribly rude, app is either malfunctioning or they're incredibly slow to make food, they took 50 minutes to make my order and it STILL wasn't ready and I was essentially scammed out of my whole order except a single hash brown. They lie about refunds, the building has to be dirty, hair in mcflurry, brown liquid in the wrapper of my spoon, purposely making food look inedible. Mcdonald's you are doing an absolutely horrible job with this specific establishment which is a shame because my family and I love the food. Do NOT recommend. read more

Came here to pick up an Uber Eats order. Inside was closed, nobody was answering at the drive-thru speaker, I drove around to the windows and honked to see if I could get anybody's attention because it looked empty in there. Then after a minute or so an employee walked by (young black man working at 1AM on OCT 10th) and they glanced over at my car then quickly looked away trying to act like they didn't notice me waiting there. They walked out of sight and then I yelled "Hello!"--no response of course. I circled back around to the speaker and try again calmly, "Hello?" and the first I hear from any employee of this spot is a young man yelling super loudly at me "WILL YOU GIVE ME A MINUTE PLEASE?" It is 1:15 in the morning and they are dead--inside locked up, nobody but me in the drive-thru, can't be that many orders at this hour on a random Thursday night, the order I was picking up was not particularly large... I just say "Okay.", because I'm just trying to do my effing job and get out of there. 4 or 5 mins later they finally ask what they can get for me. Get to the window and they open it and just say the Uber customer's name--that's a security violation; the employee is supposed to ask the driver what the name is, but the lazy kid wanted the whole experience of having to actually do his job for a minute on his graveyard shift to be over with as soon as possible--and then "Here." after I confirmed that's who I was picking up for. read more

I went out tonight to go to the grocery store to buy food for dinner instead of spending $30 on Doordash only to be too tired to microwave the food I got and end up at McDonald's.... Anyhoo, I've been here more than a few times and other than the line being a bit slow, the workers actually say Hello and thank you instead of looking at you like "what are you here for?". I don't think I've ever had an issue with the food, it's always been fresh and even though I had to ask for ketchup...I get home and low and behold I had napkins in the bag! We placed a mobile order and my fiancé went to do curbside. He got there and I plugged in the number that he was at. Took forever so he went thru the drive thru. He was told that they had it at the first window then told they didn't once he got up to the window. I was charged because it proceed that it was going to come out to the curbside spot. Even when I called they were rude and kept saying they did not have it even though he saw them bagging the order. They continued to give us the run around and at the end refused to give us the order saying we did not have the code even when provided the order number and my name and what curb number it was supposed to go to. I have had multiple bad experiences at this location. Their staff is so poorly trained they have terrible customer service and order entry skills. Every time I have gone there and have ordered the same thing the amount I have paid for it has been different. It doesn't make sense at first but even though I order the same thing get something different than what I ordered. I usually live and let live but my latest experience had me waiting 30-45 minutes, order multiple times, only for them to tell me they can't take my order. I understand the labor shortage I really do. But don't tell me you can't take my order after making me wait 10 minutes at the speaker, ask me for my order twice, only to tell you can't take my order. I go to this place several times a week since I use the wifi, so I feel like I have legit grounds for what I say. I always order something, usually a Buffalo McChicken and a medium coke because I feel it's rude to go somewhere for wifi and not purchase a product. It's a McDonalds...so yeah, it's McDonald's. My beef (no pun intended) is more for the workers here, not the managers. They are generally rude, lazy, obnoxious, and quite frankly more work talking to them than even worth it for the food. I know with everything going on everyone is screaming the racist card, but when an employee is laughing, talking, and goofing off with a customer of the same ethnicity as him/her and then can't even talk to me and I have a different skin color, think that's an issue. Last night I was in at 10pm and the guy that took my order didn't say hi or answer me when I asked him how his night was, huffed and puffed, didnt smile at me, didn't say thank you, didn't look me in the eye, and didn't even hand me the cup for my drink, I mean come on. It was a 2 item order and this guy failed so hard. I'm just being honest, I will come back because it's very close to my house and I'm an easy going guy, but if you can, avoid this place. My parents go to this restaurant SEVERAL times a week, getting the same breakfast sandwiches. It's clear that some of the crew members don't pay very close attention to getting each and every order CORRECT. My elderly parents should not have to drive back to the restaurant to get the order remade!
