I was visiting Ohio from California where I usually go to Store #12307 where the staff are terrible, the food is usually wrong and everything is served with an attitude even though they are making $20 + an hour. I just assumed that every McDonalds was the same. I went to the drive thru during lunch and the line was long but was moving very efficiently. I noticed that the staff are more seasoned than the children that I normally deal with. They had a great attitude, the order was correct. Everyone had a smile and the lady who gave me my food was like my Nona, Bubbie or Abuela. I was surprised that the staff was not high like at the Cathedral City, CA store that I am used to. read more

This McDonald's is one of the multiple McDonald's locations on Mayfield Road. I recently visited the drive thru during the weekend (on Sunday). My experience was mediocre. FOOD: The food is bad, there's no other way to put it. I ordered Quarter Pounder Cheese & Bacon meal ($10.59). The sandwich was hastily built with cheese that wasn't melted at all, abundance of onion, and halfway cooked meat. The fries tasted stale. They were also overly salty, impossible to eat. The fries also weren't sold with over the top fill, but rather had a half empty container. Coke is not what you'd expect from McDonalds. You know, the syrupy, bold taste. This coke was extremely diluted and looked much more clear than usual. I was quite surprised with this meal. Despite being very hungry, I tried a little bit of everything and didn't eat it. Perhaps some other options are more on brand here but whatever I ordered wasn't good. SERVICE: The service here is surprisingly friendly. Employees smile at you, greet you in a polite manner, and are a joy to interact with. This is very rare nowadays for fast food establishments. I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of order fulfillment and pleasantries. I'm rating this place 3 stars only due to good service. The food is easily 1 star. I won't be returning based on this poorly prepared meal. If you see very hungry, this place may do but I wouldn't make it your go-to. read more

I wish I could leave zero stars. The managing at this store absolutely sucks!!! It took THIRTY minutes to get ONE happy meal. Their excuse was "we have a lot of orders" when I first entered the McDonalds there was hardly any cars in the line. So, instead of getting in the line I order curbside (1 happy meal) and then proceeded to sit there for 20 minutes. While at the window to receive my food I was then called a slur all because I stated that I had been waiting 30 minutes for one happy meal. This is not my first incident with this store. THERE IS CONSTANT BAD SERVICE !! The Bald Man, who wears all black, including a black mask, does a poor job of managing his staff. It also takes his crew thirty minutes to produce one happy meal. On top of that he likes to call paying costumers the b* word. So please if you are looking for FAST food, this location is not the place for you. read more

Best McDonalds in the entire Cleveland area! This location has me eating McDonalds again after avoiding all McDonalds like the plague for many many years. I live in Beachwood but will drive specifically to this location to order EVERY TIME. I assume others feel the same way which is why the line is almost always out in the street and down Mayfield Rd. The food is always hot and fresh and tastes like McDonalds did many years ago before I stopped patronizing the chain altogether. Additionally, the staff at 6225 Mayfield Rd. are all polite and professional. I also want to highlight the seniors they have working there who are an absolute delight and do not miss a beat. Thanks Tony for setting the bar as high as you have with this location and providing an all around great experience from the quality of the food to the outstanding customer service. This is known as my HIGH PERFORMANCE McDonalds anyone can visit. I have been coming her for 40 years. It has been PERFECTED over the years of service and the owner are very well known citizen and business owner. In fact, I remember him once taking the orders himself with a pen and pad outside when the windows were being worked on. Just a great guy!! His story of an immigrant is also a testimony to America and its opportunity when hard work is applied! The food is ALWAYS prepared correctly, the buns are fluffy due to proper wrapping, the extras always added in the bag and the service from staff is professional. The food hot and with consistent flavor. What led me to this review is the NEW QUARTER POUNDER! This is a new rendition and the meat is AMAZING. Normally McDonalds does a great job but this wasn't very nice. We got our food and got home and ate. When I opened my apple pie there was a short black hair in it. I know this hadn't come from me because it was stuck to the apple pie filling. Not very good. read more

Our family was up from Pittsburgh for a hockey tournament and this by far was the best McDonals that we have ever stepped into. The overall atmosphere with the music, the flowers at each table, and the overall cleanliness of the store. Plus, the staff goes above and beyond bringing the food to your table, gave my son a free ice cream and provided us with free chocolate chip cookies for our trip back. You can tell that they really care about the customers there and the opinions that people have of their store as they try to put out the best experience possible. It may sound crazy, because everyone has the good McDonalds and bad McDonalds in their area, but I will make it a point if I am ever in the region again to stop by this specific store because of this experience! read more

Everybody knows McDonald's, so no need to talk about the food. It's just ok for when you need a burger and fries. What makes this one special it's how fast and friendly they are. The drive thru is run like a well oiled machine. Take note of the sign to put your cell phone away and have payment ready or you'll be holding up the line. In the dining room they consistently have great service. It's always clean. I've been to plenty of white tablecloth restaurants that can't touch the level of service here. Kids always get a little ice cream free after they finish their meal. They offer to carry your tray and will fill your drinks and bring them to your table if they see you with your hands full. It's clear that the staff is well trained and customer service and that makes all the difference. read more

Get to window..."sorry, we only have one apple pie but we do have pumpkin (eehhhk) or it will be a 15 minute wait." I say give me the one apple. I did use the drive-through and was surprised at how disappointed I could be with a snappy 30-second encounter. my first impression was listening to the staff chit chat with each other through the intercom before they asked me what I wanted to order. When I got up to window number one she flung the window open said two dollars in a smug voice then slammed the window on me. No hello or thank you.
