Pretty sure I encountered a manager tonight but 10/10 customer service. So sweet and food was McDonald's food, met my expectations.

The other locations are laid back too, but this one felt more like a to go spot than a hangout. Donkeys place consistency is top tier, the cheesesteaks are top notch. As we drove down the street the day before we actually smelled what we thought was fried onions and when we mentioned it to our family they were like "That's Donkey's." No kidding :) So today when the mandatory cheesesteak meal was talked about we chose Donkey's. OMG. Outstanding sandwiches. Absolutely full with meat and fried onions on this fantastic roll. I'm a fairly big boy and this one sandwich made me desire a major afternoon nap. The sandwich nearly killed my wife )): We are soooo happy we smelled this place the day before. We also chose to order a large cup of fries and they were also good. As for service: we ordered online and picked up our meal. That was seamless and quick. After a quick ride, I walked right in and was right back out the door with our meals. Absolutely perfect. So if you live here you already know - but if you're visiting and looking for a great meal, get yourself to Donkey's.

I loved that the protein options on the menu included traditional meat options as well as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. My fiancé got a burrito with carne asada, and I opted for the pie-sized nachos with brussels sprouts. What a great choice. The sizes are super filling, and the price for what you are paying is way better than other places like Chipotle or Pancheros. The food came out quickly and was super fresh - you can tell they make the food to order, so you aren't getting fatty meats or wilted veggies. I loved the sauce station with both bottled hot sauces as well as homemade salsas - go grab that salsa verde, it's heavenly!! The service was impeccable, everyone who works there was SUPER NICE and welcoming, and they were also helpful with what to choose from the menu and sides to try. The chips & guac are a solid choice.

IMO, the rice was dry, the pork was not what I was hoping for- it was cubed, not shredded and had an unpleasant smokey flavor. The pico de gallo had no taste. The chips were too thick and not salted. I ordered a side of " Golden avocado " which I enjoyed very much. That came with a nice sauce. The service was quick and friendly. The interior had some cool tables. Everyone has their own taste and this just wasn't mine.

It's technically just a deli--but it's a great deli…read more We've been coming here ever since we moved to the area. The first time we walked in, it definitely caught us a little off guard (you'll understand once you see it), but it didn't take long for this place to completely win us over. Pro tip for first-timers: the front door has a mind of its own. It sticks pretty hard--probably some weird pressure thing--so you've got to pull hard to get in and push hard to get out. Like... commit to it. Once you're inside, though, it's all worth it. The food is consistently delicious, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. Truly zero complaints--we've never had a bad meal here. And on top of that, they offer free local delivery, which is always a huge bonus. As you'd expect from a proper deli, the menu is massive--easily dozens and dozens of sandwich options--yet somehow the service is always fast, efficient, and friendly. Even on busy days, they keep things moving without making you feel rushed. And yes, even when I only stop in a handful of times a year just to play the lotto, they're still welcoming and upbeat. Overall, this place does an excellent job of giving you real value for your money. It's one of those no-frills, neighborhood spots that just gets it right--good food, fair prices, and reliable service. We're glad to have it nearby and will definitely keep coming back.

I have to admit I haven't been much of a fan of Chegg in the very limited amount of visits I've had…read moreover the years. Recently some family members went for happy hour to watch a Phillies game, and they had a great time. We decided to give it another shot for happy hour. We really enjoyed ourselves and thought the value for what we ordered was outstanding. We arrived just after 5pm (happy hour weekly from 3-6) and were greeted by one of 3 bartenders who helped us throughout our visit (all 3 bartenders were great). I asked about their current down east cider on tap and she poured us a taster without having to request it. I ended up going with a happy hour dirty Kettle martini which ended up being super smooth. My wife had a Surfside, also on happy hour. The happy hour food consists of 1/2 price appetizers, fries, 10 piece boneless/bone-in wings and fingers. Drink wise it's $3 off all draft beer & house wine, $5 seltzers & teas, $7 margaritas, and $10 kettle & espresso martinis. I love a good deal and this is it! Chegg also has a fun Phillies special where each game there is a player of the game. If that player records a hit there are drink specials the remainder of the game! We ordered a bunch of food also on happy hour; Garlic Parm Boneless Wings, Fried Pickle Spears, Cheesy Bay Fries, and Bone-In Zapper Wings. I typically prefer smaller wings. These wings were on the bigger side and were meaty and juicy, but they were also crispy, cooked well throughout and not fatty. The wing sauce was really good! Very hot but not overbearing which is just what I was hoping for. The fried pickle spears were also a hit, and seemed to be breaded in house which is a huge plus if they were. The boneless wings were very good, however, we've had better Garlic Parm sauces elsewhere. Still nothing to complain about. After finishing my Dirty Martini I ordered a Jalapeño Margarita which was delicious. The bartender muddled jalapeño in the shaker prior to making the drink. It was limey and refreshing with a subtle jalapeño kick. Well worth the price tag and something I'd definitely order again. I finished up with one of my favorite all time beers, Tonewood Fuego (this drink not on happy hour). I mention this as all of this food and drink came out to ~$65. Again, value-wise I was impressed. I think Chegg has the potential to be great place to watch games. Their bar is very large with plenty of TVs throughout. They also have a great patio bar for beautiful days/nights. I'm sure during big Philadelphia sporting events the atmosphere is pretty great inside and out. I can definitely see myself coming back again for happy hour as the food and drink specials are great in my opinion. This was my first time at a Chegg happy hour. I still feel the prices are a bit high outside of happy hour. If you want decent bar food at a good price Chegg happy hour could be a place for you.

Would give this place another try and maybe order one of the breakfast options instead.
