I received what I ordered without any problems. The food was what I was expecting. I had no issues with anything else.

If I could rate tonight's experience a zero (0), I would. I pulled up to the rive thru speaker with my 4 nieces (ages 6, 6, 4 and 3) and an order was LOUDLY being placed at the 2nd drive thru lane speaker. The employee taking the order was screaming and cackling so loud that customers across the street at another restaurant were looking over to see what was going on. She was screaming to ? in a dark (black) pickup truck who appeared to be an employee also since at the conclusion of HER obnoxious yelling and hollering, she asked for some special discount that was apparently an employee discount. The commotion between these two was so disturbing that customers were pulling away and leaving in front of this particular drive thru employee -customer and behind her as well. Even after she was done placing her order and pulled up to the second window I couldn't get my order placed because these two just continued what they started at the speaker. And all of it was being broadcast out into the parking lot because the working employees microphone was on. You're probably still asking yourself "So what did they do that made customers leave... Were they just screaming and cackling and being obnoxious over the loud speaker?" Well, sort of. EXCEPT every other word out of their mouths was the "F" word and I had 4 young children with me all under the age of 7. Not that any child going to McDonald's for a Happy Meal should be subjected to such vulgarity. WHO HIRES THESE PEOPLE? Neither one of them had enough sense to (1) not tie up the drive thru lane acting like 2 immature clowns and (2) respect their employer and their place of work enough to act like decent human beings when they are at the establishment, working or not and (3) realize when there are young children around you and act your age. And YES, it's completely fair to assume at any time of the day that there may be children at McDonald's and their parents have no interest whatsoever in having 2 imbeciles like you introduce them to your stupidity and total lack of upbringing and manners. Neither one of you belong anywhere near where children frequent. It's hard to believe people like this are left in charge of million dollar businesses. read more

I read the complaints about this place going back to 2011. While some things have gotten better, others haven't. I stopped in later in the evening recently; I was the only one ordering at the counter. Still took 10 minutes to get my food. On another recent occasion, I went through the drive through. One of the meals I ordered came with a medium fries. I also ordered an extra large fries. Stupid me, I didn't check the bag before leaving the window. When I got home, there were LESS fries in the large fries that I ordered than the medium fries that came with the meal. I think my days dealing with McDonald's are over. I recently ordered a sausage & egg biscuit for breakfast (thankfully I had a BOG coupon). The egg literally looked like one of those cellulose sponges you clean toilets with. It was inedible. If you need fast food in Monongahela, go to Sheetz or Two Dogs and a Fries. read more

Though understaffed and slow this is not the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. You generally will have a long wait if you go inside. They seem to have the "A" team working the drive-thru window so your experience will be better there. Still, make it a habit to ALWAYS check your order before leaving since they seem to get it wrong frequently. Service also varies by shift. The morning crew is the best. Worst is the afternoon and weekend crews when the high school bimbos are working. They also seem to have a problem with homeless people hanging out on the side of the restaurant read more

Frankly, the only reason anyone stops here is because they have a monopoly on fast food in town. If you put any other fast food chain up against McDonald's in Mon City, perhaps things would be better. They are slow, frequently mess up orders and often rude. Truly terrible. Another disappointing visit to this mcdonalds. The guy who came in after me literally walked out becuase no one was even at the register to take his order for probably 5 minutes. I got two French Vanilla iced coffees, and asked for double the vanilla in both. As usual, they didn't put the extra flavoring in, but still charged me. They tasted like watered down, bitter, two day old coffee with skim milk. I swear I give up. read more

Terrible service every single time we come here but yesterday was the last straw. Wife is pregnant and after our parenting class she wanted a McChicken, so we stopped off here against my better judgement. Was met with attitude by the older woman at the counter who instead of just informing us they no longer sold the McChicken chose to give me the most urban attitude i have ever seen on an older white woman and decided it would make more sense to insult me. I chose to leave, however an off duty employee decided to throw fire on the situation and add his attitude to the mix on my way out. I stormed back in, he shrunk back, and the manager attempted to make it right by giving us a discount on our meals and offered us free sandwich cards. I accepted and thanked her, but it was obvious she had no control on her staff and I would never trust any food coming out of that kitchen if that is how the staff can act with no repercussions at all! Another disappointing visit this McDonald's. They can't get the simplest of orders right. How you order a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and instead get a plain sausage patty between a bagel is incompetence at it's best. This happens all the time at this location. The food is never good. And everytime I go there either the milkshake machine or coffee machine is down. I couldn't get a hit mocha at 10:00 am cuz they said it was down. Why would it be down in morning when people drink coffee then?? Employees do not care and I even got the top of the shake machine in my milkshake before! Totally gross! Other McDonald's are so much better and the only reason u go is because there aren't any other fast food options in town. For how many complaints they get, you would think they would change their attitude and policies! Last resort destination by far!!!!. Not recommended ever. They shouldn't even get 1 star. read more

McDonalds in general is OK, but this McDonalds in Monongahela is consistently the worst in the area. For example, at the drive-through today, ordered grilled chicken salad. First comment from the worker "We don't have any Ranch dressing." I never said I wanted Ranch, but now the only choices were Southwest and Vinagrette (yuk to both). So my order was "Salad with grilled chicken, no dressing." Drove back to my office, opened this mess, had a "salad" with heavily breaded chicken that was cold, a bunch of wilted lettuce, 2 grape tomatoes, and one carrot shaving. Seriously gross. Threw it away. Will drive out of my way in the future to Belle Vernon or Charleroi. read more
