We couldn't wait to get back to Elrama Tavern! Even though I told myself I'd try something new, I caved (zero regrets) and ordered the Picklesburgh flatbread again. If you're a pickle lover, this is an absolute must- pickles under the cheese and fried pickles on top... it's next-level good!! The Tavern's Mustard Chicken sandwich was also delicious, loaded with roasted red peppers, bacon, and lemon pepper aioli that really pulls it all together. And the onion rings? Cooked to perfection....crispy, not greasy, exactly how they should be! Service was friendly and fast, which made the whole experience even better. They had Penn Sarris Chocolate Peanut Butter beer on tap, and wow--seriously yum. Definitely grab it before it's gone! Bonus points for not charging that annoying 3% credit card fee. Elrama Tavern - A Legendary Comeback Worth Celebrating Elrama Tavern has always been one of those hidden gems--years ago, it might not have looked like much from the outside, but those of us who knew it understood: the food was absolutely amazing, and the drinks were just as impressive. It quickly became a go-to spot for us, the kind of place you return to again and again because it never lets you down. Unfortunately, like many longtime fans, I remember the heartbreak when the tavern burned down over two years ago. It was a sad day, not just because of the building, but because we lost a local treasure filled with memories and good times. But here's the good news: Elrama Tavern is back--and better than ever. They've rebuilt from the ashes, and the new space looks incredible. You can feel the love, resilience, and pride that went into bringing this place back to life. This was my first time grabbing food from here in years, and even though it was just a pickup order, it felt like a homecoming. I snapped a few photos, chatted with the friendly woman at the counter, and was told that the downstairs dining area is absolutely stunning--something I can't wait to experience firsthand when we return for lunch soon. I'm beyond happy for the team at Elrama Tavern. They've come full circle, and we're lucky to have them back in the community. We had reservations at a local restaurant for a party of ten for a birthday celebration. This was on Saturday 3/14/26, the day after the incredible windstorms that caused power outages throughout the area. We learned late in the day that the location we had chosen was closed due to no power. I called Elrama Tavern to see if they could accommodate our group in about an hour and they said they could. When we arrived they prepared a table for us downstairs. We've visited ET several times in the past but had never seen the downstairs room. It is spectacular. James quickly took care of our table with drinks and orders and made sure glasses never went empty. The food was great. A few had the Pittsburgh Steak Salad and loved it. One of our group had the Bacon Steak Hoagie and commented it was the best steak hoagie he'd had in a very long time. Another stated that her burger was top tier. I had the Butter Baked Cod Sandwich and I can honestly say it was among the top fish sandwiches I've ever had. Hats off the Elrama Tavern. A great place, with great food, and great people. read more

Saw on the news yesterday that the grand reopening was today. Glad we were in the area. Place looks great. Everything was clean and up to date. Staff were busy, but kind and helpful. There were several families, couples and singles seated all over. Bar area was full except for 2 seats so we decided to set there. Mattie was our hostess and bartender. She was excellent. Came to find out as we were leaving that she's the daughter of the owner. We couldn't tell, her service was exceptional. Zucchini appetizer was very flavorful. Onion soup was very good. My steak sandwich was excellent, not too much bread. Steady stream of customers... a great find just off the beaten path... Enjoy!!! read more

We went in with a party of 7 on a busy Saturday afternoon. We were seated rather quickly. Our waitress was amazing! She was quick with everything! Our appetizers came out so quick and they were fantastic! Every one of us loved our food! The only suggestion was the chicken nuggets for the kids were a bit over cooked. But the adult meals were great! The French fries were perfect! Our drinks were never empty. Just a great experience! read more

The Elrama has an all new building, a vast improvement on the old building with multiple small rooms before it burnt down. The new building has an open, modern rustic feel and overall nice atmosphere regardless if you are upstairs or on the lower level. The food is really good, we've had things such as the hog wild (my favorite), the piggy wiggy, nachos, quesadillas, multiple different burgers, shrimp Caesar salad, buffalo chicken sandwich, multiple apps, etc. Their menu accommodated even the most picky eater I've ever met (my father). I'm only giving 4 stars because more than half the time any fried apps or sides come out burnt (we've eaten here 7 times, up to 5 people each time) The sides like fries and onion rings especially could use some attention as they are sub par compared to the food. The apple sauce tastes like it's straight out of the jar, they don't even top with a little cinnamon or warm it up. The coleslaw however is very good. It would be nice to see at least one fresh/seasonal veggie side option. The service has been average to fairly good. The younger guy (late 20's-mid 30's) we've had a couple times in the upstairs dining room straight hustles, he's on the ball. Some of the women we've had, once downstairs and twice upstairs bar side were a little on the slow/inattentive side. They disappear from sight for 5-10 minutes or more. The others have been average, nothing to complain about nor compliment as they do as they should and came past every few minutes. Overall good place, fair prices, we will continue to patronize.... if the owners are reading this, please stress to the kitchen to pay better attention to the fryers or cut back the temp/time whatever needs adjusting. If that gets better, i will happily change to 5 stars. read more

The food is excellent and extremely generous. We have been there twice so far, and it has not disappointed. Many of our friends commented on my FB page and suggested other menu options that they have tried, and they were not wrong. Everything has been delicious. read more

Cute tavern with some outdoor seating! The service was wonderful but the food was just ok. We ordered calamari to start but it came after our entrees. I got the shrimp tacos and they were sadly small. There was probably 5 little shrimp on a cold tortilla. Not much flavor to it. My husband ordered the Nashville hot chicken but it wasn't spicy which was disappointing. read more

Our office placed a pick up order for lunch. Within 40 minutes everything was ready for pickup (within the time frame they initially provided). I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries. I thought the sandwich could've used more sauce. All in all, pretty good. read more

We traveled here for a local high school sporting event with a group of 8 and were accommodated immediately. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. And the atmosphere on the deck was perfect. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will be sure to stop in! read more
