The staff were very friendly and accommodating! Place looked pretty clean. The new bubble drink was pretty good.

This location is hit or miss when it comes to service. Sometimes they are fully staffed, and the service is great, but on days when they are short-staffed, things tend to take longer. They no longer offer in-person ordering, and if you're older, using the kiosk can be challenging. The place could benefit from a 10-15 minute lobby check-in, as the trash was overflowing and the tables/booths were a bit dirty. I'd recommend using the drive-thru, as dining inside usually takes longer. read more

Poor service. You can't get your own drink. They must get it for you. After twice emphasizing "unsweet " tea, which I emphasize while in the South, the lady about 60ish STILL gave me sweet tea. Didn't think I had to "test it" first before returning to my car. But alas she made it wrong. On purpose? Very unfriendly when I came back in. No apology. Maybe she was hoping I'd get back in the k redstart before I realized her "mistake"? Also location made it have poor access to return to interstate going north FYI. read more

One of the BEST McDonalds in the area. Most people think all McDonalds are pretty much alike. And to a certain extent they would be right: pretty established menu, high turnover in Service providers, and lackluster service. But the difference in the one at Monteagle TN is that on latest visit I received a smile and a quick wit from a young lady named Symphony at the drive-thru window. What a surprise! I ordered $8 worth of items, was charged $25, they asked for my receipt and I handed it over without question. They gave me my tea but refused to give me my food because I couldn't produce a second receipt. But I could produce my bank's app that showed the charge. This angered the manager so he slammed my 3y.o.s fries on the counter, called the police on me. Also thanks to the Monteagle police dept for scaring my son. Wow. Deserves 0 stars. Where to start? One of the worst McDonalds ever! Dirty! Flies on trash can. Trash cans overflowing all over. Bathroom had "out of order" handwritten (illegible) sign, but everyone used it anyway. Tea had run out. Ice machine dropped water. Dirty tables. Bad service. No paper towels in restroom. Well, this Mickey D's is sort of half gas station, half convenience store, and half... Well, you know what I mean. The floors in this place are filthy. Not just in once place, but sort of smeared all over, like they mopped the filth and just sort of made it mad and spread it around. The bathrooms were smelly. The service behind the counter was very basic at best, like I don't think the employee spoke a single word to me. Not rude, just highly indifferent, with a vibe that said "hey, you know where you are, it's not very good, but it's all you've got, and I know you'll never come back..." And they were right! I have been coming to this exit for the last 3 years. It's my normal meeting place to pick up my daughter from her mom so I'm here every other week and it's the worst McDonalds/BP I have ever been in when it comes to cleanliness. I have never once been in the bathroom when it was clean. It's bad that there isn't another good option to meet so we continue to take our daughter into this disgusting place, but hopefully one day management will change and they will take pride in their restaurant and store. read more

Most of these reviews seem to be pretty old. I eat here almost every day when I'm on the mountain. I stop by for a biscuit after leaving the gym. I always get a special order, and they always get it right. I find the people to be friendly and nice and they always have a smile. Since I mostly drive-through I really can't comment on what it looks like on the inside. read more

If I could give this McDonald's zero stars, I would. The employees are horribly slow for a "fast-food" joint and the restaurant is overall, dirty and run down. After recieving our food, we came to find out that our pancakes were cold as if they had just been taken out of a refrigerator and tossed into a container. No one expects anything spectacular for a McDonald's, but this was unacceptable. If you are traveling, find a different exit, don't even waste your time or money. read more

I went through @8:30pm on 6/29/2017 and when I left to go home my husband was eating his burger , when he pulled a long hair from his mouth. I tried to call going home, but had hardly any signal, so I waited until I got home. I called them as soon as I went through the door and told the shift leader about my situation and that I think he needed to go over the standard operating procedures with his person who prepared my food. He then proceeded to hang up on me. Only negative thing I said my my husband started throwing that sh!t up. I have been trying to call since and the phone has been left off the hook all night until closing. The hair upset me, but what really makes me angry is that I was treated the way I was. I will be complaining to corporate. Probably won't make a difference, but I am still going to complain. read more

Sorry, will not be going back, had to wait for decaf at 630 am on my way to work, told the cashier that I would be a regular if they would have decaf ready, stopped the next day, no decaf, told the manager, she said that because they get so few request for decaf that she doesn't want to waste coffee, although that's the first McDonald's I've ever stopped at that early that didn't have a pot ready. I understand not wanting to waste coffee, but I can't waste my time, I guess I'll go to pilot, they always have fresh decaf ready. read more

True story. $3.04 for 2 double hamburgers no pickle. Got order from a young stud wearing white guy. Order no 209 take out not drive thru, today 6:15pm. Received Togo bag with burgers. Drove out wrapper had No Cheese No pickles on a sticker attached to wrappers just like I ordered. Opened bun, both cheese and pickles. No ketchup, mustard or onions!!! And they want $15 per hour!!!
