Only winning point for this store is the location. There are 2 problems with store: *they don't read the order correctly and you have to repeat the order. * Bit slow service As it is on prime location so they know that people will come and there is no risk to business so they don't bother to improve the service. Spacious and clean. Update: Yesterday I ordered through app and when I reached there for my order then manager told me my order is not available. I showed him that on app it is showing it is available but he said they can't control the app and they will not refund any amount. To get refund contact customer care so my point is what is use of the app if it is inconvenience for the customers. read more

Worst McDonalds ever. Been there a few times and every worker there is absolutely rude. They don't greet you, they don't say anything, will just take your money, hand you the food, and slam the windows on you at the drive thru. They will pack the large fries half way. Burgers are all lopsided with toppings spilled out. Only thing they do right, which is a big surprise, is they aren't skimpy with the ketchup packets. Oh and the wait... it takes them FOREVER to get the food out. Last time I was there, person working there looked somewhere between a man and a woman, had a dread lock man bun, and was possibly one of the ugliest people I have ever seen. Wow! Not often are you BLOWN AWAY by a fast food restaurant but this McDonald's location did just that! We dined in. The employees we interacted with were WONDERFUL! The cashier so friendly and such a sweetheart! I wish I caught her name! (Our receipt said KS#3... not sure if that would identify her.) it was my daughter's birthday and she wished her a Happy Birthday and then upon leaving, remembered and wished her one again! We also spoke to a gentleman who might have been a manager. My daughter accidentally spilled her drink and I went to inform them so they could clean it up and he was SO NICE to her! He told her that he spills his drinks sometimes and that it's ok, even giving her a hug so she didn't feel so bad about it. And yet another gentleman who also appeared to be a manager, gave my girls free mini ice cream cones. Our food was good. 2 Happy Meals And a 10-pc nugget meal. The cashier gave me their newest sauce to try with my nuggets in addition to my chosen sauce as. It was a Szechuan teriyaki sauce. It was ok. Not my favorite. It was nice of her to let me try it. Our food came out nice and hot and order was 100% correct! Restaurant was clean as well as the restroom. My kids LOVED the Play place! I stopped by drive-thru for a latte and it wasn't even that busy. I went straight through the line, paid, and drove up to the pick-up window. The lady told me to pull up and wait --- for a latte? I literally sat in my car with my engine on for 15-20-minutes. I decided to go in to check to see what the hold up was. I went in and my latte, filled with ice was still sitting on the machine. The person who told me to pull up saw me, threw that cup away, and immediately made me a new one. 30-minute for a latte? You gotta be kidding me. read more

It's a rare occasion when I visit a McDonald's due to the extreme salt and preservatives in their food that can, and will, tear my stomach lining to shreds. But...and this is a strong "but", I heard that they brought back the famous bagel breakfast sandwiches that were discontinued just before or during COVID. The Big Mac is good and is the Mickey D's staple sandwich, but in my opinion, the steak, egg, and cheese breakfast bagel has always reigned supreme. I was so excited to get my hands on this circular, stacked goodness since I had not tasted it in years. It's the juicy steak patty, fluffy egg, grilled onions and a McHollandaise sauce that's always been the perfect compliment to this sandwich. I took 2 bites and was so disappointed. Either McD's or the staff of this particular McD's dropped the ball bc I tasted zero onions or sauce. I removed the top half of my bagel and realized they only put 5 tiny strands of grilled onions in the center and there was no sauce. So I went back to McD's website to see what they describe this sandwich to be. Yep. McD's has omitted that McHollandaise spread that actually helped make the sandwich better. C'mon Ronald, you gotta add that sauce back. This sandwich is not complete without it and the skimpiness of the grilled onions made my favorite McD's sandwich, very disappointing. Not sure if I'll try another bagel sandwich or not since McD's has gone down the path of consulting with Mr. Skates, first name, Cheap. 2.5 STARS!! read more

On a 12:30 Saturday visit the inside order machines were broken, and in the 20 minutes I waited the staff never once came to the counter. They were busy filling drive-through orders, but couldn't be bothered with people who actually entered the store. No napkins or condiments in sight. Ok, I'm already editing this. I give it very high reviews initially but some recent staff interactions have made me significantly downgrade. The food is actually well prepared in the sense that they try to put some effort into making sure it's fresh and has all the right toppings Some of the staff can be friendly and helpful and some of them...well, they can act like you're bothering them. Not rude but...actually, yeah maybe a bit rude. But the friendly ones are great! They are fast when they are not that busy. Maybe Covid understaffing? They keep the place clean (wipe down tables and floors are nice) The play area is nice (given Covid, it's still "use at your own risk" of course Note: They get orders wrong here on the regular. So, esp on drive through, double check to make sure they got everything right since I've been shorted a couple times (they did correct it fairly quickly though). Whenever I crave McD's, I will actually go out of my way to come here since the other ones suck so damn bad. This Mcdonald's is on my way to work. It's horrible. Last week I stopped in for coffee, I waited to order for 10 minutes and decided not to wait. I was the 2nd of two cars in the drive thru! The first car was waiting to order when I drove up and still waiting when I left. This morning a couple of nice ladies took my order asap. When I arrived at work, I discovered the bagel I had ordered was older than I am. (I'm a senior citizen)I have tried this McDonald's previously and service was bad but now the food is old. It's official. No contest. This is the worst McDonald's within a 100-mile radius. Every time I place an order in their drive-thru, I mentally write out a YELP review...as I invariably have 20-30 mins. to kill. Today I decided to put those thoughts to post. Granted, it was Noon - so the line was understandably long. However, I countered that scenario with the thought that their competitor, Chic-Fil-La, deals with long lines on a daily basis and has keen strategies to process orders with speed and efficiency. AND a bonus!! Their employees always have a genuine smile! McDonald's - are you listening?! No employee from this McDonald's has ever exhibited warmth in my direction - and part of me really can't blame them. If I worked there, I would be miserable in my job too. I got up to the window (finally) and saw bags upon bags in a line-up - with an exasperated employee peeking back in each one, trying to figure out who's order went where. He had an angry manager hovering over his back giving no guidance - much less turning to me to apologize for the wait. After repeating my order back to him - I noticed immediately the 2 drinks I ordered were filled barely half-way. I asked that they be re-filled to the top. That's when I was informed they had NO working ice maker and the soda machines were all pre-set to fill to that height. There was no offer of refund when I said I really, really wanted some ice. God only knows what I was charged as there was no receipt, of course. (Note: I have had experienceS there where I was charged the person's order BEHIND me instead of my own!!) I get it, no ice in cups is a trivial thing (first world problems). But some times it's the little things - that take this place's consistently horrific service - and pushes me right over the edge. Full disclosure: I lost it. I let my immaturity fly and took both drinks in my hands and just dumped the tepid liquid onto the ground under the drive-thru window - and threw the empty cups back in my car. The employee and manager just looked on - unfazed. Perhaps this is a regular occurrence - customers with passive-aggressive tendencies. Neither said a word. I drove another mile to the TOP McDonald's in this area (Preston!) and spent more money for 2 drinks with ICE. It cost me $2 more. AND the extra effort of cleaning soda off my car door that my actions had caused to splash all over...but I assure you - it felt pretty damn worth all of that and more - knowing I will never darken the door of this McDonald's again. Trust me. Drive a little further and go to Preston. They give such good, friendly service that's rarely inaccurate. read more

But... no answer at the drive thru (this has happened on 3 separate occasions), handing over the wrong food (this has happened on 2 occasions). This mcdonalds used to be a go to spot for fast food- quick, fast, easy. They have completely gone down hill. I ordered a SINGLE biscuit via uber eats last week and it took over an HOUR just to be picked up. I messaged the driver because he was at the restaurant, just waiting... he said they were severely understaffed and backed up. I really want the manager of this establishment to hold the staff accountable on how they service customers. I live within 5 miles of this location but rather drive to the Cary Park Town location where the prices are slightly higher.The wait times at this location are unreal at times. We have stopped here and they have had no drinks at all. Like how is that even possible?! We have ordered through the app and waited over 15 minutes until we had to go in to get our food with no apology or urgency from the staff. Today, is where I give it my last go. I don't often stop for fast food when I'm out and today, I thought I'd make an exception. I stopped at the McDonalds in Morrisville off Green Level Church Rd. No line, not a parking lot full of cars, I figured it was the perfect time to grab some lunch. I pull up order a #2 combo, quarter pounder with cheese small fry and small coke. I pay, pull up to the pick up window and I'm told, they're making it fresh so I'd need to pull up to the service line. I wait maybe four or five minutes and a young lady appears, confirms my order and hands me my bag. I'm thinking, it's a special they had to make so I don't need to check it.
