When I was a kid, I couldn't do a pull up no matter how hard I tried. Being an adult, that has all changed. Now I can pull up to McDonalds whenever I want. I placed my order in the drive thru and ordered two happy meals for my kids and a burger. I come around and pay and get to the pickup window and I get one happy meal and my burger. I tell them there's been a mistake. They tell me that what I got is what was rung in and that's all I paid for. I tell them that's all well and good, and if payment is the issue I'm more than happy to pay for it but I ordered a second happy meal. They told me they couldn't take my payment at that window and that I had to get back in line and order again. I told them, no absolutely not, I ordered my food I want to receive my food. The fact that they want me to get back in line and sit behind ten cars because THEY messed up my order is absurd. And then the general manager, who was extremely rude, came out and told me the same thing. I've had this happen before and normal stores will either ring you in right then and there or if it's busy have you pull into a curbside spot. To me it makes no sense why they couldn't take my payment at that window and have me pull into a spot and bring me the rest of my order. I could have gone onto the mobile app and done exactly that so why not do the same thing in person? Horrible experience. read more

Been coming to this McDonalds for about 11 years (long time!) and the service is a hit or miss. I usually order my regular breakfast items but wait and lines can be long and employees are not the friendliest even though they got a pay raise. Please train your employees on better customer service. Prefer to come in the front rather than the drive thru since I usually get better service at the front counter. Fast food isn't the healthiest option so I only come here in moderation. I never eat their French fries anymore after learning what chemicals go in it, but I love their eggs and salads. read more

Most bizarre McDonald restaurant that I have ever encountered. We take our kid to an after school activity in the same shopping center, so while we waited, sometimes we want to get a quick bite and use their WiFi. For more than one occasion, the door would be locked during normal business hours and stopped serving from drive thRu with no explanation on the door or online. Weird customer service. Just went by again and this is a Sundaymorning at 10:30 am! It just locked its door and as if they needed time to catch up with their current orders. THe drive thru was a stand still and people started to just drive away. We parked and went into the restaurant and found out the staff locked the door the kept the new customers from coming in. AWFUL EXPERIENCE. We ordered food and when we arrive to the window all of a sudden they no longer have them. The never offered a refund just other food option and argued with me. Just got this today, June 21. Unfortunately didn't notice the date until after they had been eaten. Every time we go there these days, they get something wrong or the hamburger is so hard it cannot be eaten. This time they tried to give us the wrong order at first (there were only 3 cars in the drive through) and the apple slices had expired. This place has been really bad for a while now. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Normally I've had great experiences at this McDonalds over the past eight years I've been a neighbor to it, but not tonight. After ordering a chicken nugget happy meal with fries, and a yogurt, I proceeded to pay, and make my way to the second window. Where I waited. And waited. And waited for almost ten minutes. When I finally got my happy meal, and inquired about said wait, I was told, "oh, we forgot" by the young cashier. "Uhh.. forgot?" " yeah. We couldn't find any tips for the happy meal, and when we found them, my coworker forgot to hand them out." I proceeded to ask for my money back, and the cashier reached for the food? To which I replied, "no, I want the food, I waited ten minutes for it - but I want my money back." This lead to the cashier to get his manager, who told me, "sir, you waited three minutes for your fries." When I began to inform him that I had not been there for only three minutes, but in fact, I had been sitting there for the duration of three Future DS2 tracks, he quickly threw in, "and you are 'high as hell' so if you wanna make this a problem, we can make this a problem." First off, you do not threaten a customer with police, and you do not accuse them of taking part in illegal drug activity. Trust me when I say I will not be returning, and I'm contacting customer service to make sure they know about my horrible experience involving Samuel Hernandez and his distinct lack of customer service skills, and McDonald's standards. read more

Went through the drive thru yesterday 9/5 at 5pm the guy finally responded after 4 minutes and said they weren't taking orders because they were doing a shift change. I asked when they would be and he said he didn't know. We went to DQ across the street got our fries-which turned out to be way better. If I could give this restaurant no stars I would have. This is definitely the worst McDonalds we have ever eaten at. We love to travel and travel a lot for work. We had Mcdonalds in several countries- UK, Europe, Australia, South Africa.. honestly this McDonalds in Morrisville NC is the worst McDonalds I can easily say - IN THE WORLD !! The service is non-existant and the food is terrible. We always have to repeat the order several times and they still get it wrong. A few days ago we fancied a burger, no cars at McDonalds (that should have been the clue) I thought brilliant and went to the drive through- I had to repeat the order 5 times, yes five times and the man still get it wrong.. this was the last, the very last time I will ever order from this McDonalds. This restaurant is just a waste of space- look across the road- DQ has lots of cars and yes they order burgers- freshly made- we never have to wait for our order and it is always correct and fresh made with pride. read more

Always packed. Nothing ever ready. Everyone uses the drive-thru, and they concentrate on pleasing the drive-thru and leave the in-store customers waiting. They always forget to give you things, and are very argumentative and confrontational with the customers. The women managers are very additundnal. read more

Well, i've given this location several tries. But I will no longer be visting here. Unfortunately, the service has actually gotten slower. There is no fast in this fast food location as it took over 10 minute to get my order taken and that was with the place empty! The team members working there do not seem very energetic and I had to laugh when I saw another customer waiting for her order for quite a while. She was there before I arrived and still waiting when I left. They left her order sitting for some time and it was obviously cold (especially the fries) so she rightly and kindly asked for fresh replacements. The crew talked back saying it was ok and she had to force the issue. The customer at a McDonalds should NEVER be served cold food and should NEVER have to ask twice to have it made right. Very nice McDonald's all around, from the kid's play area to the booth seating. It has CNN news on, free WIFI connection (I hope that was free, lol), great multipurpose seating through out. The staff is eager to please you with their microwaved food (fries are the exception). I recommend the Big & Tasty (no not me), no onions, large french fries, large chocolate shake. Great big play area for the kids. I still can't believe Taco Bell and Wendy's never had play areas and they became succesful with families. read more

I have been here several times because it's legit the only place open in Cary late at night. Worst drive thru EVER! Incredibly slow, super unprofessional staff. It's soooooo slow that I see people leave the drive thru constantly. Cars in front of me decide to leave because it's so slow. It's about 30-50% that leave on any given late night. If I was the owner heads would be rolling and people would be fired. They are loosing tons of money. SUPER SLOW SERVICE and rude on top of that. Get it together. I told her I would report her to McDonalds...Danielle, the manager, said go ahead. I get to the window to receive the order. I asked Temika B. to hold the drink a moment while I checked my bag. She shut the window, turned her back to me for over a minute and then opened the window and gave it to me. Nice job of holding up the drive thru behind me with 8 clients.
