Wow, prices are steep but quality seems hit or miss. I am not one who likes meat well done. I was greeted promptly and order taken. Food and number called quickly. The fries did not seem fresh whatsoever. A guy was cleaning tables all around...a bit concerned when spraying near and around where people are eating. My advice ...get patties of choice from local market and cook on iron skillet at home...price and convenience will be more worthwhile on the wallet. I am a foodie and I normally find Five guys to be a good and consistent experience. Then there's today! I went to Five Guys Cary Parkside and waited for someone to come to the register and the grill area. It was a ghost town. When the cashier made it to the register to take my order, he didn't even know how to key it in. Then a man appeared in a black shirt, who I presume to be a manager, to cook my order. I received two lukewarm hot dogs with bread barely warm or toasted. As high as these prices are you can only imagine how undone I am about this experience. read more

The burger was juicy with all the right amount of toppings. Not to much of one or the other - just a good balance. Don't come here looking for McDonald's pricing or type of burgers. Wife just picked up some lunch for us at Five Guy's @ Parkside Main St Cary, NC and for $27.00 got 2 Bacon cheeseburgers and fries. The price is really stupid, but honestly, I wouldn't minded if the burgers and fries were good, but sadly they were terrible. Don't know what kind of oil they're frying the fries in, and the burgers had "0" flavor and were dry, like they were smashed to help them cook faster and squezing out the juices of the meat. So I'll leave it at that and we won't be back anytime soon. read more

Five Guys, every cannibal's favourite restaurant. The colours make me think picnic blankets and Poland. I don't quite understand the dedicated Five Guys cult fan following. Yea it's ok, but the burgers always look sloppy and it's rather expensive. The fries are pretty good, Cajun style of course. The grilled cheese is quite good, but round and not triangular, which I just can't get used to. Unlimited free toppings. Hey, cancel my burger and just add a pile of toppings. One of the free toppings for the milkshake is bacon. Complimentary throw up bucket included for your convenience. No drive thru, Matt G, you're telling me I have to get out of my vehicle walk in and walk back out again, not cool. I guess this means they don't put food on the griddle until ordered. Not sure why malt vinegar is part of the condiments for a burger. It's a very peanut friendly place. Their natural cut French fries are top notch and also very addictive so be careful. I was never a big fan of Five Guys, but this location is pretty bad. Tasteless meat patties that are over cooked and dry. Bacon that is over cooked and completely brittle and also tasteless. Fries that are ok. A good selection of toppings and the fresh toppings like onions or jalapeños are very fresh. Good milkshakes. I'm happy to know that this location that is so close to my home is really good! I've been to at least three or four in the area and for one reason or another have found them not to be quite up to par, but this one is terrific! The staff is friendly, the food is cooked perfectly, the dining area is clean. The burger was excellent and the amount of fries they give you is just massive! Seriously, they may show you the cup size it comes in, but then they add almost that much more inside the bag. Just be prepared for lots of fries no matter what size you order! I would have happily given them five stars except like their other locations the temperature inside is way too cold. Like all Five Guys, the burgers are five stars. This location is in the sprawling shopping center on 55 and there is a new Brixx right next door. The location is clean and has the nice soda machine with all the choices. You can also get handspun milkshakes here and the flavors include cherry , Oreo and strawberry and others. I recognize some of the staff from the Cary location on High House and everyone was really friendly. You can tell they all work as a team and are constantly communicating while cooking up delicious patties. As with all Five Guys locations, you know where your potatoes are from and there are free peanuts at the register. My burger and fries were perfect. read more

Not consistent and I can't think of how many times in the past 6 months (as they used to be a favorite of ours) we've had to get refunds or go back another day for a remake from burnt burgers, to underdone fries. We will now drive to Raleigh occasionally for BurgerFi since they're good and service is better anyway. No more regular visits to this place after tonight we will never return after waiting for 20 minutes when the guy on the fries station decided to walk off for more than 20 minutes before re-fixing fries that I ordered and no one stepped in to help and assist me after they saw me standing there. I finally overcame my thoughts of a potential lackluster experience gave them a go. I crave their bacon cheeseburger with jalapenos, hot sauce and grilled onions! I like it HOT! This location sports a drink machine that probably gives about 50 options for sodas/drinks. I like to stick to lemonade - and there were at least 1/2 dozen options for that. The food Was great as usual and all the workers had masks on (thank you) but the tables are not distanced for COVID-19 and they do not enforce people who come in without masks. So I cannot come to this business and I am sad about it. I know there are very ugly people out there and if you tell them to wear a mask they will write horrible reviews or act up. Although today wasn't my first time having five guys, it was my first time at this particular location in Cary North Carolina. Walking into the restaurant I was welcomed with bright smiles and greetings. The eager cashier was ready to take my order but I decided to look at the menu and the cleanliness of the store. After observing the team members cleaning and cooking I decided to place my order. My impeded took about 7 minutes to make and I was perfectly fine with that. I didn't dine in because it was a rainy day so I took my food home to feast! The food was nice and fresh and what more can you ask for when it comes to fast food? I ordered a vanilla milkshake, a small fry and a cheeseburger with jalapeños, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and ketchup.
