Fries were hard as a rock, rudest most disrespectful staff including and especially the manager, went to return fries for a refund, which I never usually do, the manager only wanted to give us refund for one, I went to throw mine back in the bag but missed and fell on the floor like, even if I ate a couple they were overcooked and the oil hasn't been changed for like a month are you kidding me. She's lucky I handed her both fries otherwise back through the window they would have went, I ended up getting full refund for the fries, no apology, just a three minute back and forth with the manager who barely spoke English that walked away during the argument (I'm Spanish as well but we in the US and speak it the English over here) She left the dishwasher to deal with me who was the only one with a brain working there I will say, I could tell she was more understanding the manager, whoever owns this branch, what the hell are you doing?????? Look at your reviews. Shut the place down if you don't care about it or get in there and get it right. SMH. Unfreakinbelievable. Wheres your pride, dignity or respect. It's McDonald's so I won't ask for much but heading back to New York from Connecticut we found a 24/7 McDonald's right off the highway and it's time for a bathroom break at 2am and some fries and cold drinks and maybe a few quarter pounders and chicken sandwiches . Plenty of parking and I was a bit surprised how busy and full inside was at 2am . Got our food , grabbed a few booths and glad we stopped for 30 minutes . This location does not answer their phone AT ALL. Idk what's been going here the last few months but it seems like ever since the prices went up AGAIN the service has gotten SO MUCH WORSE. Everytime I go through the drive thru, I'm given the wrong drink. This has happened 4 times in the past who weeks since I only come for the DRINK. Then to get the issue rectified I have to literally drive ALL the way back and go inside because the line I always wrapped around the entire store. The Hamburg steak was tender and cooked to perfection with an utterly divine slice of what must have been cheese fresh from the creamery. I came in last night to get a big mac meal for my brother, and the woman taking my order (whom I believe was the manager because she had a navy blue shirt different than the other employees) put it in as a chicken big mac, when I told her I ordered a regular big mac not a chicken big mac she got upset at me as if I was the one who made a mistake, she got me the regular big mac but then snatched the other bag away from me to take away the chicken big mac and move the fries into another bag and put her BARE HANDS in the fries after touching everything in the store. I purchased an espresso americano via the McDonald's app at a time when the machine at this location was "down," or "being cleaned." I was not told this until I arrived at the pickup window. I asked if I could get a refund then? No, sorry, we don't have anything to do with the app; you must call McDonald's customer support. No exchange then? Nothing. I received the emailed receipt "thanking" me for my purchase but I left empty-handed. Not happy in the least -- I'm also refusing to pay the charge to my credit card -- and I won't be visiting this fraudulent outfit ever again. read more

I shouldn't find it necessary to write a review for McDonald's. We all know what a Big Mac is and we have all had their fries. However, this particular McDonald's has been so CONSISTENTLY awful that it warrants a one star review. I should probably also preface review with the fact that I love McDonald's. The cheeseburger/mcchicken/cheeseburger amalgamation (or, as the kids call it, a McGangBang) is probably the best thing you can get from a true fast food franchise. Cheap and usually delicious. Unfortunately there is nothing "fast" about the food here. I have attempted to visit this store upwards of ten times and never have I received my food in under 5 minutes. This includes visits to the drivethrough and is sadly not an exaggeration. With the exception of the fries (which are usually either under seasoned or soggy) the food here is on par with other McDonald's. It is sort of difficult to screw up a franchised recipe. I hate to say it but the customers here are also a problem. I love New Haven and am not much of a snob but, if during the time it takes your order to come up, YOU LITERALLY WITNESS A DRUG DEAL then something is terribly wrong. Subpar food, slow service, and a dangerous environment. Without reservation, I can say that this is the worst fastfood joint I have ever been in. read more

Despite being stared at sitting down, harassed for my fries while eating my lunch by a local and girls laughing at me, my burger tasting like a dry piece of shit or being charged $10 for my meal - this place is unclean, the staff look run down (maybe because they get paid shit, its management or locals don't care). I'm used to Australian Macdonald's so maybe my rating is a bit bias but.. The new interior doesn't make the food better.. What a waste of money. New construction but same horrible food and service. Last year, I ordered a cup of coffee "sweet with cream". I paid then drove to pick it up and was told by a Toothless Wonder, "WE AINT GOT NO SUGAR, WE AINT GOT NO CREAM!" Today, I ordered an ice coffee via the newly built 2- lane drive through which was disorganized. I waited forever for my iced coffee "sweet with cream" and received a large cup of ice, milk, with a hint of the brown stuff. Awful. They gave me a damn iced milk drink with a shot of coffee. Just by looking at it you would think that the preparer could have figured out that it was not made correctly. I've had it!! All I have to say is they've lost a lot of business today. I work close by in a building with over a hundred people who frequent this establishment everyday, whether it be for coffee or lunch or even dinner before heading home. After sharing my experience I had of waiting for almost an hour to be turned away with not even so much as a coupon to satisfy me, each person I've talked to has said they will not be going back. BK it is :) PS I actually watched them throw my fries straight into the trash over giving them to me free to compensate for the time I wasted waiting for their credit card machine to be up. I mean, to have someone tell you their machine will be up and running in a matter of minutes only to turn around 40 minutes later and tell you they can't take care of your order is beyond ridiculous. And I take it back, they did offer me something, the man told me I could keep the soda after they took my food back from me to "keep it warm". Thanks a lot.
