I have to say I am a Diet Coke snob. This McDonalds always has the absolute best Diet Coke. I don't eat fast food but I do come here for the large DCs. The ratio of syrup to carbonation has been successfully crafted at this establishment with perfect amount of ice. Needed a quick breakfast. My wife and I got one each and shared a cup of coffee. We paid. Two minutes later the girl at the window apologized and told us we were waiting on the sausage. Literally 2 minutes later she handed me this perfectly prepared, hot breakfast sandwich. She apologized again for the "wait" and when I thanked her she said "it was my pleasure". Hoping ii don't get SICK! Going into work this morning i stop at McDonalds on rte 32 in vails gate ny. So there i am at the drive-thru placing my order and i can tell the girl on the drive through is sick. I pull up to the window and can see yes the girl is sick. On top of that she is wearing one glove and is coughing all over the place not even bothering to cover her mouth. She calls over another employee about paper in the register and that person is not wearing gloves at all. So either my food was prepared by the sick one gloved hacker or the employee with no gloves! How a business that deals with serving food allows a sick employee to come in is beyond me. I work in an emergency room and if we are sick we stay home so that we don't get our coworkers sick or put risk the patients in there that may have compromised immune systems! read more

This location was torn down and rebuilt. The previous McD had local flavor; There were photos on the walls of local sports figures (mostly Yankees) such as Yogi Berra. Now the place mad a more modern look, a corporate design. You wouldn't know if you were dining in NY, Missouri, or Nevada. The food was on the upper end of McD quality and the staff very efficient. The elevator music is contemporary and played at a loud 78db: not designed to talk to your date. read more

I rarely stop here but I needed a quick bite to eat late on a weeknight. Nothing has changed since all of my previous reviews that I have been writing for several years. This is one of the worst McDonald's that I have been to, and it's been consistent for years. This McDonalds is completely mismanaged. The staffing levels are ridiculously low. I had 2 cars ahead of me and the wait time was well over 10 minutes. The girl working the window was busting her butt working and rushing, but it appeared to be just her and the cook. I avoid this place at all costs because if the absolutely ridiculous wait times. Also, my order was wrong, as usual for this place. All I ordered were a few burgers without onions. Of course, the burgers had onions. They routinely mess up the orders here. But most importantly, the girl at the window said "hi" to me. There's a sign telling the employees they must say "hi" to all customers first. Really? Wait times are scaring customers away, the orders are routinely incorrect, and all we care about is saying hi? How about getting the basics correct before you add the other nonsense? read more

Worse McDonalds there is in Orange County. Totally untrained employees. Orders are always messed up with items omitted or wrongly prepared. Manager and district manager need to be retarined or replaced. I will never go back! The restaurant is messy inside, ie tables sticky soda machine unkkept, bathrooms disgusting. So we do the drive threw, no more! When they omitt a paid for item on the drive through what happens to it? Does the employee eat it? does McDonalds put it back and resell it at an even higher profit to themselves. Too bad no one at this restaurant cares, ie manager or distric manager. read more

Since their renovations the service has been horrible. The staff doesn't know how to use the registers because of the kiosks, the place is much smaller now and seating is like a cafeteria, very bright and in your face. You can't satisfy everyone, but this McDonalds is by far-the most efficiently run restaurant in the Newburgh, New. Windsor area. Sure there are long waits sometimes-but that's because it gets busy. McDonalds is a much more popular restaurant than say Wendy's or Burger King. The manager (I think her name is Tiffany), is very nice and know how to pick a good staff. I've never had an issue here and I frequent this particular McDonalds often. This is THE McDonalds to go to in the area! read more

Yesterday my granddaughter and I went to the McDonalds and we shared a fry and a hi C orange drink and both of us got sick and she got the worst of it all with vomiting and a slight fever and I just got a slight fever and diarrhea. read more

I agree with the other reviewers that this is the worst location in Orange County. The service is horribbly slow, they frequently ask you to leave the line to wait, and the orders are wrong 9/10 times. My huge complaint is that before they were 24 hours the ice cream machine would magically break after 10 pm. If they dont close until 12 you should be able to order food until 12. What other job can you close machines and clean early so you can go home immediately and just tell people you are out of food or machines are broken? They also make McFlurries wrong, they refuse to blend them so you end up with ice cream and a topping. read more

Just another corporate owned fast food establishment. Do not understand why people eat this unhealthy food when there are many local small town places nearby. The service was mediocre and the bathrooms(the reason for my visit) were dirty and unsanitary. I noticed a homeless person which is nice for them to allow to stay for an extended time but unfortunately the place smelled like urine. Maybe they should offer this person a job?? I was tempted to buy a $1 any size coffee but in my experience you get what you pay for. From what I hear it is just coffee flavored hot tap water. read more

Omg the wait was endless. Then my fries were thrown in the bag. When asked to get new ones the employee pick them up with her bare hands put them back in the box and tried giving me them. I told her no I want news ones scooped and put in the box not with your hands. The sandwiches weren't wrapped just thrown in the bag.
