    McDonald's in North Plains, OR
    Bruce K.

I ordinarily would not eat McDonald's but with the cloudy weather and low charge in my onboard battery, I've eaten what I had in the fridge before it went bad. And there really wasn't much else along the way to where I was headed today. So it's McDonald's or be hungry. Ordering on the app, I went inside and my dinner was ready in a bag with my name on it, I ate and drove. Two cheeseburgers and a small fry. Easy enough, they were assembled properly and cooked fine. The fries were underdone and too salty. [Review 20926 overall - 16 in Oregon - 1910 of 2023.]

Good hot double cheeseburgers for sure. Drive thru was fast. Good customer service too. I got the buy one double cheeseburger and get the other one for $1.00. Al

This is there me double. They do not follow the ingredient list... You'll get one pickle and that's it.

They don't follow to the ingredients list. You only get one pickle on your sandwich Onions, other ingredients are extremely slim. The long red haired person seems to be the same person. I always get when I get bad service.

Went through the drive thru and due to the long line, it took over 20 minutes to get to the food window. Hangry customers yelling / flipping off other hangry customers because everybody wants to get 1 car ahead when merging after ordering. (This part had no impact on my review, just providing the complete experience) When we finally got to the pick up window, we made sure we asked again for bbq sauce and honey packets. We were handed our bag of food and then was asked to move to one of the parking spots to wait for 1 burger. So after waiting for the last burger to be walked out to our vehicle we finally left. The nuggets and fries were no longer hot, we received 3 bbq sauces for 20 nuggets, did not receive the honey packets as requested and the Big Mac had way too much sauce, which made the bun edges soggy in some places. Disappointing experience again for this McDonald's location.

Seriously this is no joke, no punch but instead a marker. Unprofessional.

In the past, had several bad incidents. As for for this past month probably twice now. A week and half away, I order on the kiosk self-check, they didn't check my order to make my "to go" order. Luckily enough, one of the employee who was going on break noticed I waited more than ten minutes asked them. I approach the counter and ask for to cancel my order; instead I waited because it was still in process...... As for yesterday I order ten piece McNugget. Instead I received 8 pieces of nuggets and two pieces of their buttermilk chicken strip. I was confuse and disappointed; they could had told me if I can wait for new batch or sub my order.

I ordered one meal and two happy meals but I got no ketchup, no napkins, and no sauce for my chicken McNuggets. What's up with that?

There's a good amount of seating inside, and the day we were in there was always staff cleaning up the tables after people left, they were super on top of it. The food was good! I got the two piece spicy meal set with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. I think the coleslaw could be better.. it was a little too soupy watery imo, but flavor wise was fine. The chicken was the main thing I came for, and it was tasty! Perfect crunchy skin, juicy chicken dipped with my gravy,

It has been open for less than a year at their only Oregon location here at Hillsboro. On our last day in Portland, my wife, her mom, and I stopped in for fried chicken on our way to the airport. We were all jolly when we left. I've really come to appreciate the consistency of Jollibee's chicken fried chicken. Unlike some of their competitor's, where the chicken breading might be coming off because it has been sitting under a heat lamp too long, their chickenjoy breading is crispy and their meat juicy. All of us had already eaten breakfast at the hotel we had been staying at, so weren't particularly hungry. Thus, just got a 3 pc Cjoy combo meal ($18.49, no tax) with 3 pieces of spicy, dark meat chicken (2 drums, one thigh), a biscuit (fluffy and tasty), two sides (mash potatoes and fries) and fountain drink. It also comes with a cup of brown gravy, meant to be used as dip for the fried chicken. Brown gravy with fried chicken has become something I seek out now. The fries are very similar to McDonald's and the mashed potatoes to KFC. In both cases, that is a good thing. I got a pager and it went off about 10 minutes afterwards, so got up to bring the chicken back. They have a self serve soda fountain. It is expensive though for a fast food chain, with no value-type menu available yet. Fil-Ams are loyal to this chain, and seem to be OK with the slightly higher price. It will be interesting if they ever choose to expand, what they would do to draw in non-Filipinos.

You can't miss it as there are KKC signs for it everywhere. Like their other locations, they have a standard menu starting with Family Meals consisting of chicken plus tenders. Nuggets that I've never tried because they're new. Buffalo or traditional wings, a Cajun Chicken Sandwich, and some deep fried Honey Butter Shrimp basket. Standard are their Krispy drumsticks and thighs in which you can order a Krunch Box consisting of 2-pc, 3-pc, or 4-pc, with a side and biscuit. Ranging between $8.79 - $12.29. As for sauces, those are $0.59 each, which I don't get. They should automatically be included imo. I'd say the staff working here fry it up right! Probably even better than other KKC locations. The times that I've ordered from this location, the guys behind the counter are pretty honest about what's newly fried versus what's been sitting around. I will say that I do love their bone-in thighs/drums versus their tenders. Although both really are crunchy goodness as advertised. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I enjoy any of their sides; Biscuits, jambalaya, mac-n-cheese, meh no thanks! Other than... Their potato wedges, these are what I love! They've got two versions. One that's dipped in the KKC batter. Only they actually cost per wedge. Versus their regular wedges (or jojo's as they called it) which I think are seasoned just right, and you get more in a basket. Overall, this location set the bar for how gas station chicken should taste like lol. And again, I'm not saying this is my all-time favorite fried chicken place ever, but the chicken is decent enough to satisfy your cravings. I'm beyond the dirty grins and reactions of "gross you bought fried chicken from a gas station." I really don't care what you think. You can have your garbage chicken nuggies from WacDonald's across the street. I'll choose KKC any day!

So tonight was my turn to use Uber Eats for this little treat. I ordered a Double Shack Burger and then added a discount combo of Coke Zero and fries. It was dropped off, i grabbed it and jumped right in while it was still piping hot. The burger patties and a thick layer of cheddar cheese pertruded from the buns inviting me to take a bite. I did, and it was a little bit of perfectly cooked beefy-cheesy heaven. It took a few bites to get to the bun then the beefy-cheesy was joined by fresh crisp lettuce, a sliced of fresh tomato and the sauce they call "Shack Sauce." The entire thing highlighted how moist, tender and flavorful the beef patties were! The crinkle fries were light brown and crisped to perfection; a perfect companion for the ketchup I had ready at home. Just a really great, simple meal. Even the Coke Zero tasted the way it does out of a freshly opened plastic bottle. No small thing as so many places let the ratio of carbonation, syrup and water get screwed up. Not here at this particular Shake Shack! Small complaint though, no napkons, utensils or condiments but I might have missed the selection of those things in the Uber Eats app. But....as I peer onto the culinary crystal ball for 2026 I see many more orders from Shake Shack @ Reed's Crossing coming from me and my family!

This review is for the K-Shack Fried Chicken Sandwich, K-Shack Fried Chicken Bites, K-Shack Spicy BBQ Fries, and last but not least, the K-Shack Spicy Caramel Shake. I'm always curious when fast food joints try to innovate their menu but this one really piqued my interest as I'm already a fan of Korean cuisine. The spicy and sweet gochujang glaze was actually what made all the difference, because without that, it wouldn't be Korean style at all. I enjoyed the sandwich and the chicken bites, but I could have skipped the fries as it was just ok. However the shake was a bit of a surprise because it's sweet for the most part and you don't actually notice the spicy kick right away until it sort of creeps up on you. I thought it was a fun twist and glad they came up with it. This was a unique experience and I'm glad I decided to give it a try. Will definitely be back!
