Drive thru. Went back for onion rings as we needed them for dinner. Nope they are gone after 3-4 weeks. Now onto fried green beans. NOT needed for dinner. Ordered a Bliss shake. Wish they would mix them up better. Service is pay window one get food window 2. Never seems busy. I think it's very expensive. And the onion rings they had were 2 inches tall. Cut them down and keep them longer please

Best Walla Walla onion rings So Big. These are the smaller ones. Love the raspberry sundae and milk shake. Regular hamburger is just right for me. Good chicken sandwich with spicy peppers New sandwich?

Trying as many new places as possible right during these rough times to support restaurants! We live nearby, so we thought we'd give Burgerville a whirl. There were a decent amount of people in the drive-thru, but service was pretty fast and decently friendly. I ordered the NW Cheeseburger basket with shoestring fries. Hubby ordered an original cheeseburger, doubled, with waffle fries and a strawberry shake. My burger was good and messy, like I like it. However the hubby's burger didn't get doubled, and it was noticeably smaller than mine to start. Bummer... but he did enjoy the taste regardless. While nothing far from the norm, the fries were good and hot. The strawberry shake was great, clearly a real milk shake, with chunks of strawberries inside. Overall a decent first visit... If our order had been correct then a 4 star for the visit. We will give them another try.

Been seeing a lot of adds for burgerville breakfast. Thought the crunch breakfast biscuits looked really good! Went there this morning and they didn't have any hashbrowns! So I ordered biscuits and gravy. I got home and got maybe 1 tsp of gravy. Come on burgerville get your shit together

This cost $15.07. Had it cost a tenth of that, it still would have been too expensive (just gross on all fronts).

I just don't understand how this chain manages to stay in business. After having visited two different locations over 12 years ago, and experiencing very small portion sizes of VERY expensive food, I tried this location since I was in the neighborhood, and I'd not tried it in over a decade. After a literal 25-minute wait at the drive-through window with only two cars ahead of me, I ordered their "No. 6" burger, large fries, and a small hazelnut chocolate shake. This cost whopping $15.07. I could understand the price if the burger was huge (it isn't), tasted amazing (it didn't), or had some other noteworthy characteristic (it doesn't ), but for that kind of money, it had BETTER be something other than a greasy, tough (seriously, the patty was TOUGH), smallish burger. The shake was the best part of the meal, and it wasn't that good. I don't know how they managed to get so much hazelnut flavor that it overpowers the chocolate, but they manage somehow. Seriously, don't waste your money or time. This place has been and continues to be absolutely terrible on all fronts.

My cousins and I came here for the milkshakes and they did not disappoint. We also got a regular cheeseburger, some waffle fries, and some sea salt rosemary fries. The milkshakes we got were the hazelnut chocolate, mint patty, and gingerbread. The hazelnut chocolate was the best one. It had a really strong hazelnut flavor so if you don't like that, I wouldn't recommend it. The mint patty was also good and it was probably the thickest milkshake I've ever had. It was impossible to drink it with the straw. The gingerbread one was alright but not great. There was a ginger aftertaste, which I was not a big fan of. Wouldn't get it again. The waffles fries were decent but we all agreed that Chik-fil-A ones are better. The rosemary fries are probably some of the best fries I've ever had. It seemed like they used a rosemary infused oil to fry the fries, which made the taste so rich. They were shoestring fries, so they were crispy. Just the way I like them. They were on the oily side but it's junk food. I'm still thinking about them and would definitely come back just to get them. The cheeseburger was a disappointment. My cousin ordered it expecting it to be full like an In N Out ones, but it came with no lettuce and tomatoes. The patty was really thin and was basically a McDonald's kid's cheeseburger. The food alone would have given this place at least 3 stars, but I took another star off for customer service. After we got our food, the employee immediately closed the window and walked away. We wanted to try some of the sauces and get some ketchup, but we ended up having to eat the fries with no sauce.

Next level arcade with thumbs down.

For 4 people with 4 burgers (comes with salad and 3 pot stickers) and 4 sodas -- it was just over $100. This seems like a lot for a "fast food" type restaurant. The food was good, not great. I got the jalapeño popper burger, I guess I misread as I thought the jalapeño and cream cheese was inside. It was not, there was a large bacon wrapped jalapeño not he top. Otherwise a plain burger. Miss opportunity I thought. The Skippy burger was good -- but some bacon and a spicy sriracha or something would make it better, and less sweet. Chicken burger was good. Don't remember the 4th burger (sorry). I also wish they offered a different green -- they only have arugula which I do not enjoy -- so the salad did nothing for me. Pot stickers were great! Would try again if ever in the area.

In general, the Portland metro area doesn't have burgers worth crowing about…read more The old timers will rave about Helvetia Tavern, Skyline, Roake's, Jim Dandy, Mike's Drive In, Fuller's, and Nob Hill burgers. These are various takes on Burger King's Whopper and it's difficult to prove otherwise. Canard's steamed slider? A chef'd up White Castle. Champs, Farmer and the Beast and Tulip Shop? Yes, every city has smash burgers now, congratulations. Wolf's Head? The issue with throwing pork into the mix is some days it's glorious and some days it's the driest burger you'll ever eat. Higgins?! Yes, dad, your $30 bacon cheeseburger was totally worth it and not at all a slightly upgraded McMenamins offering. But Five Stars? I'm genuinely stunned every time Grand Lodge has a show and this place isn't packed. Those who know treasure it, and those who lack the patience are missing out. There's enough commentary on the spartan interior and the counter-and-drink-cooler aesthetic, but the important detail is the note to customers to the right of the register: Your meal is going to take time. It's going to be perhaps 20 to 40 minutes. It will not come out before that time. If you are in a hurry, please go elsewhere. They say this as straightforwardly as they can: They would rather have the time to prepare your meal correctly and sell fewer burgers than churn out nonsense to more customers. Armed with that knowledge, I ordered a bulgogi cheeseburger, took my drink, and settled in to watch the traffic. On a weekday, my only companions were older couples who'd clearly been coming in for years. About 25 minutes later, the burger arrived on its char-toasted kaiser bun (a rarity out here). On the first bite, I encountered both flavor and texture I could only compare to a wagyu-based take on a Big Mac that I'd sampled at a Chicago culinary festival. The patty melted into a near pate, while the bulgogi blended with the cheese into a complementary umami flavor that chains like Umami Burger never quite achieved and local spots like Mr. Bento seem too focused on speed and volume to prepare correctly. I am absolutely late to the party here and realize that countless influencers, food critics, car clubs, and Western Washington County regulars have already made 5 Stars an overwhelming success. But that "best in Oregon" claim isn't just a tilted Yelp score or foodie hyperbole: It's a whole lot of time and effort paying off in a product worth the expense. 5 Star unquestionably makes the best burger in this state, but it's the care taken by the family behind it and the genuine love of the community surrounding it that separates it from the crowd. P.S. I can't believe the former owner of Piattino left a bad review. What would I rather do with my life: Make food and experiences that people remember months to years later and serve as the basis for comparison to every burger that comes next, or open the 30th reclaimed-barnwood restaurant in town with a forgettable take on the same pizza made by at least three other Portland spots?

Knew it had a cult following but just had not been able to make a stop in until a couple of weekends ago after making a trip to the library that is right down the street. Visited on a Friday lunchtime. We were the only people there at first but the take-out business was jumpin' with calls coming in every few minutes. We waited maybe 20 minutes, which seemed totally fair given the care and attention given to making our order. During the wait perused all the license plates on the wall and watched them work the grill. The owner and his wife plus son (?) were all so friendly. Appreciated their giving us a heads up about how big the food would be and not risk over-ordering. We had a a plain hotdog (with fries) and a plain cheeseburger (with fries) and they were both tasty despite the kids ordering literally the most blah things on the menu. The café itself is simple, clean, and cozy, with a small outdoor seating area available. Their menu features a variety of sandwiches and burgers to choose from. On a previous visit, I tried the elk burger, which was excellent. This time, I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bread was lightly toasted, the portion of meat was generous, and the sandwich itself was hearty and satisfying. Service was quick and efficient, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch. While the space is modest, it is well-maintained and comfortable.
