    All Star Breakfast

Whether you're in the mood for a good, fulfilling breakfast; or you're having a late night meal after the bars, Waffle House is the place to be. This location has been my go to for a while. Like any other location, small and packed, expect a bit of a wait to sit down but your food will be prepped quick! The servers here are very friendly too.

First stop we had to make on our trip to Orlando! Right away we felt so at home with all the welcome greetings! Everything was delicious specially the cheese eggs, the raisin toast and the waffle. Best of all was the customer service from Kourtney!

First time visiting a Waffle House and walking in you are greeted and friendly servers. The reason for my 3 star review is due to the fact that the food quality was not very good. The we ordered the All Star combos the price is very reasonable but the sausages and eggs were too salty. The toast did not come with any butter or jelly and the waffle didn't not taste like a fresh made waffle. Hope their quality improves but overall okay to grab a quick bit and get to where you need to. Right next to universal studios.

After being used to the Waffle House locations in Nashville, I was a little worried on how the Florida locations worked. Guess what...same friendly service, delicious food and great prices. Will definitely go back since I am a Floridian now! Best Hash Browns in town!

Fast, friendly service. It's a treat to get Waffle House when we travel as they are not available at home. Love it!

Hash browns and grits are the epitome of Southern breakfast food and no better spot in tourist-filled Orlando than Waffle House. This location is the closest to Universal Studios. Big shout out to our server Bianca for polite service! Don't let the vacant building next door fool you. Waffle House is right next door!

Late night review! Yes long day and I haven't eat dinner. Well let's dinner at Waffle House! Place is decent I have to say. The staff in kind but the late hours are showing through the idea of a fabulous morning. I had plenty of seating to choose from and the service came in a reasonable time. My order went straightforward the grill; eggs, grits, hash-browns, bacon and toast. The place could use a deeper cleaning, but nothing unusual for Waffle House. My food was cook just pretty good bacon was to died for, but my eggs a little over cooked: over medium I requested, but not so much to complain. Lets say it was a darn good choice this early in the morning. As always stop by and give them a try.

Ah Waffle House, the drunken haven for the middle of nowhere. 3am and nothing open except this place and IHOP; the choice was easy. Several staff present and surprisingly chipper despite it being late at night. Wanted everything but managed to limit myself to one meal - The Texas Bacon Patty Melt w/ hashbrowns ($6-7ish I believe). Lightly toasted bread with a thin patty, cheese, and a solid helping of bacon (with crumbles of extra meat on top). A giant oily mess of fattening tastiness. Hashbrowns are your regular fare, best served with a mashup of hot sauce and ketchup. Again, the people working the place were in good spirits despite the time of day. Our food came out quickly in to-go containers and kept well on the ride back. Definitely not as tasty the next day, so eat quick.

This Waffle House brings me good memories because it is so affordable than a few years ago, I was sooo but sooo broke that I was vegetarian for months not by choice, and this was the first restaurant that I could buy some kind of "meat patty" (actually, my friend bought for me lol). Today, I am seating here again, looking at the same menu, and everything remains the same: Super speedy waiters, happy cooks smiling and the breakfast better than ever! :-) The new slogan is that they have " many items under $5 bucks!"

**Great service, it's their food that turned me off** This menu is definately deceiving. Stopped by after a night at City Walk, luckily I wasnt starving. My husband and I decided to share their All- Star special because, based on their photos, it was HUGE! The photo hows the waffle on a plate as large as the one holding the toast, eggs and grits. What actully came out was a thin waffle on a plate a little bigger then the plate you put under your coffee cup. It was cheap, tasted fine, I'm just not a fan of surprises. I'll stick to Dennys or IHOP where the pictures are less deceiving. (I uploaded a photo of their menu so you can see what I mean)

The chicken and waffle was very good. The chicken was well seasoned and fried to perfection. I added hot honey to mine. That way I can further that sweet and savory flavor. The strawberry stuffed French toast tasted like delicious strawberries. The cinnamon and nutmeg was infused throughout the French toast. Literally an amazing meal. The only thing that I feel I would've skipped out on was the eggs because they didn't taste like real eggs but everything else delicious.

I stopped in the afternoon just to see what they had and if it would be worth the wait. The menu was surprisingly huge for such a small coffee shop. I decided on their seasonal peanut butter latte. Finding a seat was a little bit of a challenge because of how crowded it was, but I was able too. It was very loud from all the people and blaring music, so this place would not be ideal for a quiet work session. I was surprised by how friendly everybody was in there, including the staff and patrons. The peanut butter latte was amazing. Even the girl next me said it was good before I got to try a sip. The cold foam was the best part, super sweet and peanut butter flavored. The latte itself wasn't overly sweet, which I really liked. I love that this coffee shop has a good mix of original artisanal flavors and yummy classics. I can't wait to come back for more seasonal drink!

Stopped in at Briarpatch on Park Avenue for a weekday brunch to continue my birthday celebrations…read more Even for a standard weekday, the place was packed to the gills, which is par for the course here, though being seated right by the front door had its downsides. Our high-top caught the steady breeze of people cycling in and out, trading blasts of humid Florida air with AC, but it was manageable enough. Our server was solid and attentive, though the kitchen had a couple of operational hiccups. I ordered the fried green tomatoes to start, but they were forgotten until after our main plates had already landed on the table. When they arrived, the execution was decent. The batter didn't adhere well and slipped off the tomatoes, though the accompanying sauce carried the dish nicely. On the drink side, the virgin blackberry lemonade hit the mark completely: balanced, tart, and refreshing. The breakfast mains were where the kitchen redeemed itself. I built my meal around the bacon and mushroom omelette, which was formidable. It was fully loaded with bacon, cheese, peppers, onions, and mushrooms without feeling greasy or heavy. They had run out of biscuits, which was surprising for a brunch spot mid-shift, so I subbed in sourdough toast. The undisputed star of the meal was the side of cheese grits. I am notoriously particular about grits, restaurants almost always serve them under-salted, gluey, or watery, requiring a table-side overhaul of butter, salt, and pepper. These were dialed in straight from the kitchen. The texture, dairy integration, cheese ratio, and baseline seasoning were spot-on without needing a single touch of salt or pepper. Minor timing and stock quirks aside, BriarPatch remains a reliable staple. I left full, satisfied, and reminded why it is always worth keeping in the local Park Ave rotation.
