I'm giving this 4 stars because of how the situation was handled. In every business there are service breakdowns, but how you handle it, that's what matters. Last night I ordered food for my parents. Ordered two apple pies on top of the order and when I got back to the house had an apple pie and a burger. Disappointing, but maybe that was God saying I didn't need two apple pies. I will say Jacob was very pleasant. Previously having run hotels I would have recruited him to work at the front desk. He is definitely someone to have customer facing. This morning my parents got breakfast. My father comes here almost every morning as he needs to eat after treatments, so they aren't a sometimes visit customer. My mom ordered burritos (4x) hashbrowns (1x) and sausage egg McMuffin (2x). My mom asked if they were two for $6 and was told no that deal was gone. When they returned home it was 2 egg McMuffin with ham and she was charged just shy of $10 for the two sandwiches. I told my mom let's go and we drove back up to the restaurant. Mind you it takes 5 minutes just to get out of the community. As we were driving I called and spoke with Allison. I asked if they had the deal and she confirmed yes 2 for six then I told her what happened. There was a reason I asked my question first. I let Allison know we would see her in five minutes. I just wanted a freshly made order with the correct sandwiches and my mother refunded the amount she was overcharged. When we arrived I asked for Allison showed he the food. The Erica came from the back. She is the GM of the store and she had the ordered remade and refunded my mom for the McMuffin. We also ended up purchasing two refresher that was actually good. So with that said thank you for making it right. The area of opportunity here is for the team to slow down. You're not robots. Check for order accuracy. Confirm what your customer is asking for making sure all parties are on the same page. As customers we take the time and gas (which is expensive now) to come to your McDonald's. All we asked for is hot fresh food and an accurate order. FYI if you have lead positions Jacob is your guy. read more

A newish, more modern location in a plaza of similar options, this McDonald's has more walk-in friendly hours than most locations in Moreno Valley or Riverside. The few times I found myself here benefitted from dining in or take-out. The kiosks to order are convenient and easy unless you are paying with cash. All three times, the food came out warm and well made overall, although the first visit saw a better execution of my breakfast go-to: Bacon egg and cheese bisquit. The second worst customer service I've experienced at a McDonald's drive thru. I ordered and paid for two large coffees. I got two mediums -Girl(employee) at pickup window said they ran out of large coffee cups..I asked about being refunded difference, she didn't hesitate to snap with complete attitude and say she couldn't do anything about refunding difference since I paid with McDonald's app.. Not bad for a fast food place. It was pretty darn clean and fully stocked. Honestly, the best McDonald's I've been to in a long time. The drink fountains were full, the bathrooms were clean, and the tables were all cleaned off. My kids enjoyed the gaming screens, too, while we were waiting for our food. Once we received our food, I was quite impressed with the way it was packaged. They gave a handful of napkins (just the way I like it), separately bagged our sauces (so they didn't get all mixed in at the bottom of the bag), and the fries were filled to the max! The food was piping hot, especially the fries and nuggets....we all enjoyed our food! Not sure why all the horrible reviews, but if you are asking to be catered to, this isn't going to be the place. Most of the employees are working on the food/drive thru, so most people would prefer ordering either at the kiosk or on the mobile app. You're not going to get immediate help unless someone is at the counter. Came here on a Sunday afternoon to get my 7 year old who was dying of starvation chicken nuggets. Nothing like bringing your child on vacation to only have them want to eat chain food you can get at home. We went through the drive thru (no line) and placed an order, used a code from the app (not sponsored but if you don't have the app get it! Discounts on food, you earn points and can redeem for free food). Staff at the windows were friendly and got us through the drive thru quickly. Food was hot and kidlet quickly consumed. I can't say I will ever be by this McDonald's again but if so I would go there again. read more

Zero stars!!! It's Veterans Day so I went to go get the free breakfast being offered at all McDonalds restaurants. I went through the drive through, the person taking orders couldn't hear me so I had to wait until I got to the window to order. Waited 10 minutes and there were only 2 other cars in the line. When I got to the window, they tried to give me someone else's order. I let them know that I was the customer that they couldn't hear. I asked them for the free veterans breakfast. They said they didn't know anything about it. He went and asked his supervisor and came back to the window and said, 'we don't give anything free to veterinarians'. I corrected him and then he called me a veterinarian yet again. I asked to speak to the manager. And she said, 'we weren't told anything' , sorry. I tried to show her the McDonalds website and she refused to look. I said, it's VETERANS day. Do you know what a veteran is? And then she called me a veterinarian. McDonald's. I worked with them for 2 months and during those months lead me to quitting on the spot after getting yelled at. Maria mainly didn't give no respect for their employees, expecting for those she is family too. I began with no experience at all, expected for some short of training or videos to watch, Nope. I simply had to quickly figure out what to do and was put on the grill instantly. Yelling would be the main problem and poor communication skills too. The only manager that was truly a team captain would the night manager, who's constantly tries to do her best. I personally had to witness her crying due to a manager screaming at her though the phone. She is a magnificent manager. Drive into town to see my dad, and we offered to pick up some lunch. He didn't like our first choice for lunch, so we ended up driving thru McDonald's. The line to order was extremely long. It appeared there are a lot of people who don't know how to order. There were many care taking forever to order while the rest of us were on it. Occasionally the line moved quick but for the most part it was a snails pace. Food was eh. I really only like the fries. But I expected fresher tasting food to be honest but it tasted like my cheeseburgers are sitting around under a heater fir awhile. Fries were good, but upside down in the bag and all over the place. These employees could not get a simple one person order right. They tried to give me someone else's order twice, then when a gal came back to my car (had to wait for hash browns) she took the order I had placed on my floor and handed it to another customer without remaking the order. Pretty sure you're no supposed to do that. Then she came back again and asked me what my order was, while people who were cars behind me drove away. The guy with the pretty blue nails, though polite and pleasent, did not get our order right which forced us to park, get off, and reorder with the machince which was much faster. While waiting, a young lady was running her mouth about a customer she was helping. I've worked in the food industry so I understand the level of stupid you have to deal with BUT you usually have common sense to vent in private and not where everyone can hear you.
