As I sit here sipping on my drink, I thought it would be a good time for an updated review. If you enjoy a bunch of teenagers yelling behind the counter, having your order just thrown on the counter without a word being said, or just waiting to have your order taken - this place is for you. This place seems to be on a downward spiral. When ordering at the counter, you have to wait several minutes until one of the employees can break away from their fooling around to take care of you. Every Thursday I go to McDonald's on Southwest highway in Palos hills to order breakfast at by 6 muffins sausage McMuffins two sausage burritos and to hash browns. Yesterday before I went there I seen a commercial showing that the sausage burritos are supposed to have diced red peppers in them I have never ever received peppers in my sausage burritos. I enjoy going to this McDonald's .. the management is very friendly and quick with my to go orders..must admit I don't use the drive thru because of problems with the communication for the app(they seem not to be able to pull up order's quickly and efficiently. Don't bother going here. I used to go here all of the time. I work a couple doors down from here, and would pick up breakfast on the way in. They would always mess up my order at the drive - thru. Not only that everyday I went there it would either be 20 cents higher or lower from the previous day for the same exact thing. Not sure how that was possible, but it was. We stopped here after a competition at Stagg High school, who ran out of food before our team could eat. It was 9pm. So we showed up with a full size school bus and packed the restaurant. At first the staff was looking nervous, I thought for sure it would take forever to get the orders done and food out to us. Pleasantly surprised!!! They got more staff out to man the register, kitchen was hopping and I am confident 30 or so people had their food in 5-7 minutes! It was all hands on deck and our food was fresh, hot and good! They give me a milkshake with whipped cream and I told them I asked for no whipped cream. So they take it back and I hear the guy who took my drink back yell: "f*ck your whipped cream." This Mcdonalds location, has been a go to place for me. Fast service, but its always the quality that is not good. Buns are burnt sandwiches are soggy for a busy place. Newly renovated which is nice. My dad ordered my family McDonald's and when we got home and opened the bag we saw that they forgot our chicken nuggets, I know it might not sound like a big deal but this happened more than once and this time my dad decided to go back and show them the receipt and tell them that they forgot it. Once he got to the window he nicely told one of the workers and she started accusing my dad of lying and saying we ate it when we didn't, my dad refused to get out of the drive thru until they gave us it, so she decided to call the police.
