I would have to say, if Spanish wasn't the main language spoken in this American fast food restaurant things would run more smoothly. Came here late at night to grab a meal for my wife and I while moving to Pilot Point. Had a sleeping new born in the car and this older man in the drive through window with blonde hair had the biggest attitude with us and was raising his voice. Very disrespectful: 1) I asked for a root-beer and his response was "I guess you'll have to go to another location because we don't serve that here." Which is fine if he just said that they didn't have root-beer. 2) I asked for a regular and he said "what in the world is a regular?" I mentioned that it's a medium and he proceeded to scold me at the window about how they don't call a regular a medium at McDonald's. (Very loudly). I don't usually review McDonald's. I mean, everyone pretty much knows what to expect when you go eat at the Golden Arches. However, this was the most unusual experience I have ever had, so I felt inclined to write a review. I will keep it brief. All human aspect of the restaurant has been removed. You order by a kiosk and pick up at a counter. No one spoke to us. No interaction or greeting. Very futuristic, cold, and unwelcoming feeling. Just...weird. Didn't like the experience at all. Update 7-7-23. Still great! Still "my" favorite! McDonalds, Pilot Point, TX. Who cares? They still do! This is my local, "always driving by" McDonald's. Since I work within walking distance, i walked over to check. They couldn't find the order. Then they told me, even though the order showed on my phone, they could NOT honor the app pricing. Although I understand that fast food is understaffed, this McDonald's had ten people in the store talking, while I was standing at the counter waiting to pick up my online order no one came up and only stood in the kitchen staring. Its Thanksgiving and yeah I know , one doesn't typically grab a burger and fries at McDonalds on Thanksgiving, but hey , life is complicated sometimes by dysfunctional family gatherings . Food comes out through drive thru , everything is cold . Not lukewarm , but cold . Now I can't even get mad because well these poor employees don't want to be working at McDonalds on Thanksgiving!! Not too bad for a McDonald's, though it always depends on who you get. The morning shift is the only one worth eating from and they don't have or don't honor many of the coupons on the app in the "deals" section because they're Mobile Pay app doesn't work properly or they don't offer the items on it. Might be the slowest McDonald's in north Texas. Of course, I will go back because of convenience. Tonight, they forgot all the orders of fries, the dipping sauce was not what I asked for, and the missing fries, made for an unhappy kid. The receipt was correct though.
