Visited with my dad and sisters recently right after a grocery trip. Food was what you'd expect from McDonald's and came out fairly quickly, but the experience with staff was uncomfortable. Two staff members repeatedly pronounced our order number in a mocking/stereotypical Asian accent directed at my dad and me (they did not appear Asian either). We also got told to leave for "loitering" even though we were still within the posted dine-in time limit and actively eating. At the same time, a group that appeared to be staff members and/or their friends were sitting together being much louder than any customers there. The overall environment also didn't feel very welcoming. There were kids/teens smoking right outside the entrance and blowing smoke near families with children. Hopefully management pays more attention to how customers are treated. I wish I could take away my tip because it was a horrible experience. read more

It's McDonald's, so it's pretty standardized food wise. The food it always good from here, but the wait time tend to be extremely long. I have gotten quick coffees from here when no one is in line, but I found they don't make them right most of the time. I used to work at McDonald's, so I know how it's supposed to be done, and it's super hard to mess it up, so it's kind of disappointing. I would try a different location. read more

Another horrible McDonald's within city limits. Service slightly better than the other location a few miles away but still less than desirable. Don't be in a hurry and don't expect anything but someone to hand you your food. With that, burgers made without any toppings. Check your order before you leave or better yet, go to Trader Joe's next door and get quality food read more

Most bizarre transaction this morning. Ordered my usual breakfast from any McDonald's, a sausage biscuit and large diet coke. The price told at the drive-thru window seemed a bit high but I first thought oh, this particular McDonald's must charge more. So, at the pickup window, I checked my order. It was a mcmuffin vs. a biscuit so I pointed that out, that it was the wrong order to the same person who took my order. No big deal, right? I am just trying to get my order, that is all. Well, he proceeded to tell me, no, that is what I ordered. WTF? You argue with a customer over what they ordered? I repeat what I ordered calmly and asked for the correction. He again argues. I ask to speak to a manager. He tells me he IS the manager. (How the hell did that happen with this display of customer service I wonder to myself.) Sigh. I repeat what I ordered and finally someone gets my order. I then ask for a refund of the overcharge. He, the manager, says they are the same price. WTF is up with this man? (Again said to myself.). I say no and again ask for a correction to the amount I was charged. Finally, he relents. I have not seen this person in any if my other transactions with this particular McDonald's and hope to never do so again. I will be reporting this service to corporate and the franchise owner. When is it EVER appropriate to argue with a customer over an order (it is just a 1.19 sausage biscuit, man) and then try to refuse to credit 20 cents to their payment??? This McDonald's is a joke. Ordered delivery and half of the ordered items are missing.

When I came into the store, it was because there was a long drive-through line. I could not place my order on the computers that they have in the lobby because the way that I get my sandwich is not available to be customized that way on those computers. so, I have to order at the counter. I stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes whenever. I finally asked someone if they could take my order. A woman, I believe it was a manager, looked at me and said that she doesn't have money so she can't take my order and then turned around and said to the staff "there is a lady in the front who is in a hurry." I then decided to keep my mouth shut and wait a few minutes longer. After a few more minutes, I asked someone again, nicely, if they could, please take my order. When someone finally came over to take my order, he was very rude and said that I should have seen that there were only two people passing out food. I apologize, placed my order, and said, thank you, despite the way I was being treated. From now on, I will certainly not go to this McDonald's unless it is the last one left on earth. I had hope that my large fillet of fish meal would take 20 minutes. 25 max. I gave the McDonald's credit for having touch-less pay. The tables were clean the place was reasonably clean. My order took almost 35 minutes. And than I asked o for a side of tartar and it's been 10 minutes??? 15 minutes??? Don't question the 1 1/2 star rating...unless you are questioning why it's not a 1 star rating. The only good experience I've ever had at this McDonald's when some guy in front of me paid for my meal in the drive-thru (shout out to that guy and maybe pay it forward once in a while!) That was also the only time I've ever successfully gotten food or the correct order in the drive-thru in a reasonable amount of time. My first ever experience here was at the drive-thru. I was asked to pull forward along with the car behind me, which didn't seem like a big deal...until no one came outside with either of our food for over 20 minutes, although other cars seemed to be getting their food. Finally, the woman in the other car and I made eye-contact and went inside together. The worker said she thought our food was brought out already and didn't even have our orders anymore as it was rush hour, so we had to wait again. No big deal...until the food was wrong. I just gave up that time. It wasn't worth waiting any longer. I ate the somehow-cold-after-30-minutes fries. Multiple times I've gone to the drive-thru and...silence. No one ever takes your order. Not just twice...at least four times this has happened. I brought my husband the last two times to make sure I'm not crazy. Sometimes there are other cars that appear to be getting food, but when I pull up...nothing. This happens during open-hours...or so I thought? Going inside is a little better, but not much. Definitely don't use the app though. I used it twice. The first time I paid for it and they told me they didn't have that order. So ordered it again on the app thinking it didn't work. Instead I got charged twice. At least I got food that time and my bank sorted out the extra charge. The second time I used the app it worked but the order was somehow wrong and missing basically everything I paid extra for. After three times of sending food back, the order was finally right. TLDR: Don't go here unless you want to write a book on Yelp about how terrible it is. read more

I placed a mobile order and pulled up to the mobile order spot, as you're supposed to, and after 16 minutes of waiting, the drive through worker yells at me from inside the building to come get my food. So I pull around and wait in the drive through line for over 40 more minutes. Not kidding, I was waiting so effing long. And when I finally get to the window, they stand around talking instead of getting my order. When I drove away, I realized they didn't even give me my order. It was someone else's. I filed a complaint and never received a refund or anything. Don't ever eat here. Also, it does not look sanitary AT ALL. read more

This McDonald's isn't opening the restaurant to order inside which is unnecessary with where we are with Covid locally right now. The drive through line is extremely long and moves very slowly. If they don't want people inside with masks off all they need to do is not allow eating inside but allow people to order inside so the lines aren't as long. They do not have signs posted that the dining room is closed so people are constantly parking and trying to go inside to order. They do have signs on the door saying masks are required or maybe just recommended which is very misleading when you can't actually go inside. They do have multiple employees sitting outside the doors to the restaurant with no masks on and smoking where the drive through line passes by. There are many other local fast food restaurants who currently allow you to go inside to order and some even to eat. I don't think McDonald's as a whole or at least the local owners/management actually care about Covid safety for their employees or customers. It seems much more likely that their refusal to allow people inside to order is simply a scheme to save money by having less employees working (since no one has to run the cash registers inside). This of course only serves to worsen the customer experience and overwork the employees. Finally, the owner/management of this franchise doesn't care about customer satisfaction because despite numerous complaints to the corporate feedback number (WITH requests to be contacted) they have never responded to me. Corporate is a joke as well because the people at the feedback number always tell me they don't work directly for McDonald's, there is no way for them, or myself, to have my repeated complaints passed on to anyone in corporate and that they can't do anything to get the franchise owner to respond to my requests for contact. If McDonald's corporate cared about their customers they would provide a way to get in touch with them or have issues escalated to them when the franchise owner refuses to respond to anything. read more

If I could give a zero star I would. Today I purchased a # 7 Cheeseburger meal. I was upcharged to the large meal, but then was served the medium drink and fries. There wasnt a straw provided. The meal bag had dipping sauce (6) for McNuggets, I never ordered. Im sure that IF I had, I would have been charged for the sauces. The fries within the order were so salty they were inedible. The sandwiches were never wrapped, just thrown in the bag, and the paper thrown on top of the burger. The cheese wasnt even melted on the burger, yet the buns were toasted beyond edibility. I was the second car in the drive through when I ordered at 7:22pm. I received my "meal" at 7:48pm. The car ahead of me only received 2 soft drinks. I sure hope they got straws with their drinks. You can blame all this on lack of staffing, but the staff sure did seem to be having a good time dancing to the radio as I sat at the delivery window. For anyone looking for nourishment, I would avoid the McDonalds on 6361 Penn Ave, unless of course you want to give your money to them and get a totally inedible meal in return. read more

I don't understand the low reviews. This is a very well run neighborhood McDonald's where retired folks seem to gather over coffee in the morning. I have been here a few times and service was always prompt and courteous. The food is consistent with McDonald's everywhere and the restaurant clean. When you walk in here, you'd think you're in a much worse neighborhood than you really are. I mean, it sits in a shopping plaza bracketed by Trader Joe's on one side and Google on the other. There was trash everywhere in the outdated dining area. The staff was boisterously arguing with each other, complete with profanity. It's as if somebody left an Animal House-style drunken frat in charge of a fast food franchise. They didn't have half the items on the menu board. The board is electronic; it shouldn't be that hard to change. Apparently the manager didn't even know enough to be embarrassed about all this. When you order food from this location via the mobile app, they refuse to give you the food when you attempt to pick it up. I'm out a total of $12.18. Stolen from me because the manager on duty apparently has no clue that this location offers the ability to order food and pay for it via the McDonald's app. I won't get into the rest of the details because his behavior was just outrageous and offensive and he really should be terminated. The first time I tried going to this McDonald's was about a year ago. I pulled up to the drive thru and the person told me they were closing early due to being short staffed. It was 8:30 pm on a weeknight and wasn't busy at all. My boyfriend went there today to get us breakfast. The store itself was closed and only the drive thru was open. It made absolutely no sense. People who had walked there expecting to order inside were walking through the drive thru line with all the cars. They were out of McGriddles. They said they couldn't make lattes because they were out of the ingredients but could make an iced coffee. They almost forgot our hash browns but my boyfriend reminded them. This McDonald's location is an absolute disaster. Disorganized, unprofessional and they think they can make their own rules without having any regard for the customers. read more

Perhaps the worst McDonalds ever!! Stopped in for a quick lunch ... 1:15 PM. Ordered two fish fillets and a BigMac ... all were nearly stone cold when served. Asked for replacements and they too were cold. Fries were not much better.
