Would give 0 stars if I could. I stopped by the drive-through late in the evening to grab dinner, which I assumed was the entire purpose of a drive-through. Apparently not. I was told I had to place a mobile order to get food--while sitting in the drive-through line. When I asked again for clarification, the male staff member said that I was too stupid to understand what he's saying. I decided my hunger wasn't worth the attitude and left. Not sure what kind of day the employee was having, but being rude to customers isn't a great coping mechanism. Workers are rude as fuck and called the police on me and my friends with no warning because we "weren't 21" which was never a rule that was established and seeing as we're all not minors made zero sense. Not only was my food fresh-tasting and hot enough that I'm certain it hadn't been off the grill/out of the fryer for long before it was handed to me, all the staff I interacted with (in the drive through) were kind and considerate, as well as efficient and helpful. Among the best McDonalds experiences I've had anywhere-- everything was pleasant and fast and I drove away with a smile on my face and a bag full of top-grade fast food. The entire time I sat here, people behind me in the line gave up and left, got the wrong orders, or sat for an hour waiting for their food...IVE BEEN HERE FOR AN HOUR. As I have stating in other reviews for McDonald's, I am not a huge fan of their food. But every so often you get a craving for something and you have to search it out. You know to ebb that craving and you can stop thinking about it. Even though I had passed several locations to get to this one, I still came here. What a huge mistake. I had heard many people say how bad this location is, but I wanted to experience this for myself. Well, I never got to experience the food. I pulled in here and it was only drive thru service. You couldn't go in, couldn't order ahead and pick up. So I pull in and directly head for the drive thru line. I am not exaggerating when I say this. I sat for 15 minutes in that line and did not move an inch. Nothing was happening. No orders were being taken, no food was being given to customers, no movement what so ever. If I hadn't had to be at work, I might have stayed and waited a bit more. I finally got out of the drive thru line and ended up going elsewhere. All in all, a fairly typical urban fast food experience. The Quarter Pounder was good and the fries were hot and crispy. There's the two stars. Now the cons: the service was slow and unfriendly. The people that work here are miserable and hate your guts on sight. I even held the door open for one of them running orders out to the parking lot and didn't get a "Thank you", she just looked at me like I was an idiot. You could hear the ratchet employees loudly cussing each other out in the kitchen area the entire time I was there. Also, the lobby is filthy and clearly none of the tables had been cleaned in quite some time. So, your food may very well be hot and tasty when it eventually arrives but be prepared to receive a death glare from an employee when you politely ask for the drink cup they neglected to give you in the first place. read more

This is to provide a review and perspective that probably has never been done for this location or any McDonald's. Yes, my mobile app to-go order was tasty, the food cooked well and flavorful. But what gets this location five stars, and 100 stars if I could give them, is the incredible kindness that I experienced on October 9. Mid-afternoon, I had a horrible accident while walking on the sidewalk a couple blocks away. I ordered McDonald's on the way back to my hotel - knowing I would be kind of on the shelf for a little bit. When one of the employees saw how gashed-up my knee was (and I probably looked a little disheveled), she asked if I needed extra napkins before retrieving my order. Not only that, another employee inquired how I was doing and if she could do anything to help. Finally, when I received my food, which was two sandwiches, not only were there a whole bunch of napkins in the bag but also a large Band-Aid - which a traveler like me likely would not have (she was right). Just wanted to share this experience - and express my extreme appreciation for their kind gestures and assistance. These folks could have just handed me my food and said goodbye, but they chose to go the extra mile. I see some reviews where people are acting as if McDonald's food is Ruth's Chris and then derisively review - please know that the folks who work at this location are truly awesome! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! PS To the rude person who questioned whether my review is legit, yes it is. I could post medical photos but they would not be appropriate for a restaurant review with my knee looking pretty gory. A 6 piece nugget was forgotten from my order, so i pulled back around the drive thru. The man taking the order told me to make sure i have the receipt because the manager was a stickler which was completely understood as I worked fast food service as well. I was met with the manager at the next window telling me that I was lying, that I was here "hours ago" and that "she remembered my face" insinuating that I was trying to bring my order back late to try and steal food. It was an extremely rude interaction, especially when I had JUST been in line less than 10 minutes ago and didn't even leave the parking lot. I usually don't make bad reviews, but it was absolutely unnecessary and uncalled for as I most definitely have better things to do than to try and steal a 6 piece nugget from McDonalds. This morning the staff at the front counter were incredibly rude. To start off, they forgot a part of my order so I go back afterwards with my receipt and tell them they forgot a part of the order and I'd like to have the thing I ordered, I paid money right? So anyways. This woman, she seemed to be the lead on shift, she slammed a cheese egg biscuit in front of me and I told her that's not what I'd ordered, it was an egg biscuit, no cheese, for my friend who's lactose intolerant. I ordered from the McDonalds App for the 'first time'. I meant to order from a different location, But it defaulted to the N Euclid location instead . I called the N Euclid location and spoke to a woman that said she didnt know how to cancel it, I said ok I will just drive to that location anyway and she said ok. I arrive at the N Euclid location and the greeting at the window was "Uber eats or delivery only" in a very monotone male voice, there was no hi or how can i help. I looked at my fiance and said is that a recording? we then again said "hello?" and it repeated uber eats or delivery only again. i said we have a mobile order is this not accepted? and it said again "uber eats or delivery only". i called the actual location and the same man appeared to answer and he said yes that was him on the speaker, i said it sounded like a recording and i said i expect better customer service we were asking a question and then he started getting loud with me and we just left. And why wouldnt the woman on the phone at N Euclid location warn me on the phone that its uber eats or delivery only. We wasted gas and time driving to that location and did not get our food. I didn't even know a McDonald's this bad could exist. I was so impressed with how terrible the service was, this is what prompted me to sign up for yelp after all these years to post a review. It's worth mentioning that I don't have unreasonably high expectations for a fast food restaurant; I know that the employees are overworked and underpaid and the volume of customers is too high to expect perfection. But every time I've given this McDonald's a shot, it greatly disappoints. This last visit was the final straw: I ordered my food on the touch screen, but wanted to grab my drink so I headed to the counter where three employees were gathered around a phone watching a video and completely ignoring the line of customers. Finally, I asked for my cup and got told "no, we're out of large cups" right before the employee walked away. I was dumbfounded. The food came after 20 minutes. During that time, I watched one employee talk to a friend in the lobby, several argue, and was pretty (un)surprised to hear them openly cursing. Sometimes you could hear them cussing about a customer in the back. Along with the food, one woman gave me one small and one medium cup for my drink. I had to go back up to ask for a drink carrier and then again since they forgot about a smoothie or something. Each time I had to go up to the counter, the workers got increasingly and noticeably more frustrated and at one point, one worker in the back said, "This is the neediest f***ing customer ever." Even after all that, when we got home, they didn't even put my burger in the bag. The food that was there was cold and stale. We sent out a complaint requesting management to contact us about the issue and we got ignored. I can't believe that this McDonald's is still open after over a month. It's terrible, disrespectful, and makes me never want to go to another McDonald's again. I just wanted an apology and a coupon to replace the food I paid for and didn't get. Worst experience with any McDonald's ever. We came in and there was nobody at the register. There were 10 or more people waiting. One guy said nothing on his order was correct. Someone in a hoodie and backpack came over to the register and took my order. She got my drinks (machine was down, but they had a big discussion about it). My drinks sat there behind the counter and she walked to the back. Then while nobody was getting served, a lady came and said in a monotone voice with no urgency, "there is a fire in the back. We need to evacuate. I can refund your order or try to give you your food." most people left and no coupons were given, my food was incomplete. Firetrucks came and left within 2 minutes. They locked us out with no sign, nobody outside explained anything to new guests, except me. The entire staff sat near the windows eating and drinking food. I walked up and motioned that they forgot my drink and they shoo'ed me away while they ate and drank theirs... They watched us eat outside on the curb. Where do I start? This is the worst trashiest McDonald's I have ever been to. Saturday night I was driving for uber eats to make a little extra money. It was around 9pm when I got an order at this McDonald's. When I get there the lights are off outside but I could see all the employees standing at the front counter. So I pull into the drive thru. The girl comes on and says sorry we are closed. I said oh ok, I got an order for uber eats do I just cancel it or do you? Then I hear a different female employee say "she said we're fucking closed." The original employee comes back says sorry about that and tells me the machine is down so they didn't get the order. I just pulled away before I lost it on those trashy employees. That place should be shut down. That's the second time I've had to go there for uber eats. The first time wasn't much better. Employees with attitude. If you hate your job so much maybe try to make something of yourselves because having an attitude like that won't get you further than burger flipping. The food is probably just as bad. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is not just the worst McDonald's, it's truly the worst functioning fast food location I've ever been to. You will stand in line with no one at the register for 20 minutes, if you're in the drive thru be prepared to wait 10+ minutes for someone to acknowledge you're there, the food takes at least 5x longer than it needs to, you will be forgotten about if they send you to a parking spot to wait for your food in the drive thru (I waited 40 minutes once and had to go inside only to find out they never started my order), they will screw up your order every single time, the workers are arrogant - ESPECIALLY the manager - she is truly the worst, the ice cream machine is always "out of order," they've literally run out of chicken and hamburgers, they rip you off for fries and fill up the fries half way....I could go on and on. Avoid at all humanly costs. Every time I go here I want to pull my hair out and scream. I do not know how they're still in business. Do not waste your time - there's another one right up the street and even though it's a mile or two further, you will still save time because of how slow, unorganized, incompetent and ignorant the one on Euclid is. read more
