This has to be the worst McDs I have ever been to. I have placed 3 mobile orders and they have screwed up 2 of them. In one, they left bacon off my double quarter pounder. I let that pass and didn't bother to call. The second, they failed to put one of the burgers that I ordered. I called and spoke to the manager. She knew that my burger had been left out of the bag. I told her I wanted my money back for the entire order. She said I would have to drive back to the restaurant to get my refund. I told her that I paid with a credit card so why couldn't she just issue a refund. She said she couldn't do that. I said that if I had to drive back up there, I wanted the missing burger and my refund. She became quite rude at this point. She said I would have to call corporate because she wasn't going to deal with it. She told me the phone number was on my receipt. Since it was a mobile order, my receipt was emailed to me. I checked the receipt and there was no number listed. This person does not need to work with the public because she is extremely rude. She should have tried to do anything to made it right to keep me as a customer. Because of her, I will NEVER go back to this location again. I would have given ZERO stars hut that was not an option. 1 star was extremely generous. read more

i went here as a quick stop on our way from clear water beach. i ordered a 4 piece nugget, 2 cheese burgers, a doctor pepper, and a sweet tea as well as 1 medium fry. first off the nuggets and fries were probably the best thing we ate. the cheeseburgers were disgusting. they were stale and cold. the sweet tea was "freshly brewed" apparently and tasted like it was sitting out for 3 days, the dr pepper tasted like there was sand in it. this whole experience was awful and do not recommend coming here at all. the food was nasty and barley even cooked. worst experience on our florida vacation yet and i think this should be shut down or gordon ramsey should come and help out because it was a hot mess. i would give this 0 stars but yelp doesn't allow that so i have to do 1 sadly. read more

The service here is exceptional. I've been here several times since moving to Polk City in May of 2020. The times are fast, the food is always fresh and seasoned perfectly, and the staff are very nice. Quite blown away with this restaurant! read more

This McDonald's is horrific customer service by the manager on duty on 5/18 at 4:00 I made a 25$ purchase and I had a coupon for free fries Friday and the manager would not let us use the coupon for the free fries also we asked for certain condiments and got none this place has A+ food but -100000000 service. Also this is not tue first time this place screwed my order up they always forget any type of food and drink and sometimes they put the wrong food in my order. read more

Perhaps McDonald's should just throw in the towel in Florida. This place hasn't been here very long, in fact this is the 1st time I've stopped here. Usually go to Arby's in the truck stop across the road, but decided to be different today. 12:00 noon, and hardly any customers, this should have been a clue. Used the self serve kiosk, and still had to stand at the register to pay. Wait for ice (machine being serviced) No sweet tea, had to tell counter girl it was empty. Tables dirty, saw another customer wiping one, so she could eat her lunch. I don't get it. These employees want $15.00 an hour, and basically do next to nothing. McDonald's once upon a time, had a good clean image, hard working employees, and you got a decent meal for the money. Those days are gone, sadly. read more

This morning I came into your facility for breakfast. I ordered my breakfast and then it was shortly thereafter, I discovered you don't acknowledge veterans. You don't even give them a free drink/coffee or a free breakfast sandwich. What blew my mind is you didn't even thank the veteran for their service/sacrifice and he clearly was wearing a veteran hat and shirt and showed you a military ID. To me, that is completely UNACCEPTABLE!! This brave man clearly deserved to be acknowledged for his years of service and I wish I got up there faster to pay for his meal to show him that his service was very much appreciated. I grew up in a military family, my Dad served over 22 years in the Air Force so growing up I understood and appreciated my Dad. He was and still is my hero! As an adult, I continue to love and appreciate all of our service members and their families because they are sacrificing their lives to keep myself and my family safe and free! Now, I understand that you are not the only establishment who doesn't honor our veterans but I honestly expected more from you McDonalds. You are a huge corporation! It is because of these brave men and women that you can work and live freely in our country! Now, I understand that a lot of these veterans don't expect to get free/discounted items BUT as a citizen of the United States of America I would appreciate it if you would show your appreciation for these brave men and women who have fought/current fighting in a war and sacrificed time with their loved ones, or the ones who have gave the ultimate sacrifice...their life. The least you could do is give them a sincere thank you or give them a free drink! I will not be back to your establishment because if you don't appreciate our military then I refuse to step foot in your establishment. Since McDonald's clearly don't appreciate the military, I want to wish all of our past and current service members a very Happy Veterans Day. Thank you so much for your bravery and your dedication. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a McDonald's. Employees on the line were visibly just standing talking. Long wait even though it wasn't that busy. The gentleman who handed us our meal was asked for our drink to complete the meal and did not respond. After serving another customers meal we asked again and he pointed and said with an attitude, it's here. Do you want it?" I don't know if people were having a bad day or what, but I will not be returning to this McDonald's or referring to anyone I know to it. read more

McDonald's isn't generally my favorite, but this is on my way to work so I've eaten here 4 or 5 times since they've been open. With only 3 reviews, and all of them one star, I felt compelled to share my opinion. Every time I have eaten here, the food has been above par for McDonald's in general and the staff has been exceptional. Each person I've come in contact with has been super helpful and friendly. Being brand new helps, but each time I've eaten in the restaurant, the place has been spotless. The only slightly negative thing I can think of is that once, when I ordered a burger with light ketchup, I was asked to pull to the next window so that I could wait for my food without holding up the line. I didn't mind that a bit and I certainly would have appreciated it if I were behind me in line. I didn't have to wait super long, but the employee thanked me for waiting and apologized for the delay. This McDonald's location is a joke! I have had problems with them since they opened, they have messed up so many of my simple orders. I can't tell you how many times I have ordered a large, hot, Carmel mocha, I don't start drinking it until I get home because it's too hot, but I take a sip and it's regular coffee, so I have to go back to get what I ordered! This morning really ticked me off because I got there at 5am and sat at the drive through ordering box for 10 minutes and nobody acknowledged me, so I backed up a couple times to set off the sensor to see if someone would acknowledge me, nope... so I drove around to the actual window and I can see several employees inside but a female manager finally comes to the window and lies to me, saying they can't open yet because she is the only one there. She said she is trying to call people in to help her...This is also not the first time I have gone during operating hours but they are not open. So it seems to me they open whenever they feel like it. I have never encountered such terrible unprofessionalism from a fast food restaurant. Absolutely terrible! read more
