    Mitchells Famous Chicken Gumbo.

I can't say everything is good bc I never was able to stay for breakfast, I was here on a modeling gig. I can say what I got here is not just inexpensive but freaking good! I got a ham, cheddar, and egg sandwich two days in a row! It was so good. Now the hash browns were very greasy. I also tried there chicken gumbo and I would not recommend! The flavor is more spice then season and overly rued. It was giving trying but not accomplished. I've had better gumbo in Chicago. However the sandwich was fire. The hashbrows were ok, I don't hate them, I purchased them twice. My opinion still stands on the grease it heavy on grease but perfect for a hangover lol. Everyone was very nice in the restaurant. The service can be slow bc the coworkers talk more about personal things vs getting the orders done but it's still good! I was actually upset, I was late to set ,bc the girl stopped to have a convo before grabbing my order lol. However it was still a good croissant sandwich and I'd come here again if ever in Lakeland. Lastly, they make all they're treats! I didn't try them bc I'm not a sweets person but if I was the Oreo red velvet cake would've been the first choice!

I had to fight my 8 year old daughter from eating all of my egg whites. They had gluten free toast that was fresh and tasty. Our lavender almond milk latte & Matcha latte were perfection. Will be back everytime we are in town.

Nice quaint Coffe shop located in down town Lakeland. The ambiance is Awesome some business, some students studying, some church talk and some walk-in regulars. Love the vibe trendy yet hometown friendly! Ordered the Salted Caramel Crunch Toffee Cold Coffee. I like a salty and sweet cold coffee. It was good! I am used to 7 Brew in Louisiana, which the (Salty and Sweet) is off the chain. I sat and read a good book and would return if I lived in the area. I recommend it!

Michael and Emma/Hannah were incredible and provided excellent service! The ambiance is cute and it's clear that a number of people go here for not only a yummy meal, but also a great working space that's very unkept. The muffins were yummy and fresh (I enjoyed the blueberry and pistachio muffins) and I tore up the bowl with avocado, scrambled eggs and parmesan cheese that I removed and substituted with turkey. It was delicious! Check it out and enjoy!

Very cute coffee shop in downtown Lakeland. We stopped here while visiting the Farmer's Market on a Saturday morning. There was a line; however, it moved quickly. I ordered two frozen lattes (similar to Frappuccino): snickers and caramel. The snickers latte tasted like a chocolate or mocha latte. The caramel latte was very good; good coffee flavor and not too sweet. For food, we ordered croissant egg and cheese sandwiches (I substituted the pork meat options for Turkey deli meat); it was very good. Overall, I would recommend this coffee shop. Nice area, tasty and reasonably-priced food, and good coffee. My rating is more so a 3.5.

A long-time favorite of mine. Mitch has upped his game by adding a lot more food options besides pastries. If you bring your own mug, you can get coffee at refill prices. The service is always top notch. Free Wi-Fi and a nice place to hang out in downtown Lakeland.

Went during the Saturday Farmers Market for some breakfast and was very pleased. The prices are fantastic and the food is decent. Will definitely return with friends and family. Service was fairly quick and not too busy. Sitting outside the area could use some touchups but was not complaining with the yummy food I had on my plate.

I don't live close to this coffee places. I happen to to be near the area and I wanted to support local businesses. I was actually at my salon when I overheard them call in coffee orders. I was curious. I have visited once before. This place is super cute and spacious. The staff are super nice and they make breakfast. I got the I dream of Jeanie coffee. It was good. I almost got one of their giant cookie.

One complaint: each table features a card advertising happy hour. Although we were there during happy hour, drinks are not available at the happy hour price. Our waiter was as confused about that as we were. He said the cards had been there quite some time. Misleading if not downright deceitful. I love this place too much to make a fuss, but I felt like my loyalty had been betrayed.

The atmosphere is dive bar friendly and there are so many cool niche areas for photos. Really loved the raised unfinished ceiling and the naked white brick wall which covered the side wall of the tavern. When you enter there is a hostess to great you. And our server almost appeared immediately. She explained the menu to us and the specials. What a great first impression. Unfortunately, there was a key piece of info we missed. There is a full bar, draft beer options and a decent wine selection. I ordered a draft beer and a flight of Mimosas. The beer was good, the mimosa flight not so much. Oh, and they have brunch specials on Saturday and Sunday, including unlimited mimosas at a 2 hour limit. For food, ordered the classic breakfast plate and a breakfast burger. Food was pretty good, but the burger was from a frozen patty, so not the best. Unfortunately they have some policy where they charge an extra $1 for the eggs. It is posted in the front, but nowhere on the menu. Suffice to say that experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended. They did remove the $1 but it took more effort that I would have liked and unfortunately the review and the server's tip suffered as a result.

It was 2:00 p.m. and there was no wait to order and our food arrived fast! My wife ordered her favorite, the Southern Classic Salad, which is 2 citrus grilled chicken tenders on a bed of lettuce with a scoop of house-made guac, sliced egg, bacon, tomatoes, red onion, smoked gouda, cilantro corn, croutons and a citrus vinaigrette dressing. It was delicious as usual and a huge portion! She ended up taking half of it home for later. I went with the 2-piece Perfectly Fried Tenders, medium heat with sides of So Gouda Mac and Bourbon Baked Beans. The chicken pieces were quite large and were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The pieces were served on a piece of white bread with a pickle on top! The fried chicken is so good that I could eat here every day! We were both stuffed, so we skipped the Peach Cobbler and Banana pudding this time. It was a beautiful day, so we ate our lunch outside on the patio, entertained by the great 80's music and occasional police siren (since Florida Ave is a busy street). We started with a dozen grilled oysters, half cajun butter and half garlic butter. They were very delicious. They were tasty, fresh and a nice size. My wife went with the grilled wild caught salmon which was described as the wagyu of the sea. And she said it was the best salmon she has ever had. I went with the pick two combo which included catfish, shrimp and cod. And I know that's three but instead of two pieces of catfish, I got one and two piece pieces of cod.
