I have gone to many different McDonald's and I just want to say that this one is the best. I have ordered here quite a few times now, and out of all the McD's in the tristate area the Port Chester location consistently has the hottest food, the cleanest tables, and the most polite workers. Hands down! Don't be fooled: just because McDonald's is a huge fast food chain doesn't mean that all the restaurants are created equally. The ingredients may be the same, but making sure they are consistently assembled properly and at the right temperature takes great management. Sometimes you aim low when it comes to grabbing a bite on the run and I did actually that when entering the McDonald's in Port Chester ..No one inside as everyone is doing the drive thru experience.Large fries , large diet coke and a few apple pies is good enough for me .No big macs or quarter pounders for me as well as the other typical McDonald's menu items . maybe I will grab a seat inside the empty joint or maybe I will hit the road and munch in the car which I tend to do most of the time .Hot fries , cold soda and warm apple pie is the lunch of champions and that works for me .3 stars on my yelp meter . . read more

Over the years, I've been to this McDonald's Restaurant around twenty-five times. My favorite meal there is probably the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal. I also get the crispy chicken sandwiches and orange juice. The food is usually very delicious. I like ordering the food on their touchscreen computer. The restaurant interior was recently redesigned. This place is anormal McDonald, there is nothing unique or different to say; ohhh its a very nice place to go! No... It very ordinary. Now what I hate the most about that place are the employees. Most, "MOST" not all of them are just rude and disrespectful, always acting like they are doing us a favor and not their job. Except for Jefry Paz, he's great. Look, I have worked in restaurants, I know it's busy and It gets stressful, but it takes a second to ask for someone to wait until you're able to assist them. Excellent service at the McDonalds. It was very busy and the employees on the front were fast, friendly and had excellent customer service. The food... Well it is a McDonalds. :) I was just passing through and taking a break on a trip from NYC to Boston and grabbed a quick bite. I got to my car and thought I lost my phone. In a panic, I raced back in and the gal at the register (Valerie?) quickly noticed me back at the counter (There was a long line) and asked me what was wrong. This place seems to be always packed so they are either doing something right or too slow. While the food taste just like any other location.. i have been disappointed a few times (see picture of chicken wrap). This restaurant is overall very clean and the staff are usually friendly. i been going here for over 6 years and I must say, every other meal they get wrong. Are they polite ? Yes! Are they hard working ? Yes! Do they always get things wrong? Yes!! This is probably my favorite place to get pickles. The pickles are second to none. There is none higher. This is why my wife and I visit this particular McDonald's every night. I ask them to hold the burger, if you catch my drift. (Because the burgers suck) I'm in it for the pickles. read more

Great experience here, I eat McDonalds maybe 1 time a year and this was well worth it. The employees are extremely polite and professional, the fries are perfect, and this is the first time ever I got a quarter pounder that looked exactly like the menu picture, not some sad soggy mess. Much respect to the workers here, way above the average McD experience, I am very impressed, will eat more McDonalds in the future thanks to the exceptional staff here. They gave me no bacon when I asked for it and I went in and it took 5 minutes to get the lady's attention and then she denied me asking for bacon and finally she took it to the back and gave me it back. I didn't check til I got in the car but they gave me a mangled un toasted biscuit but it was late at night so I didn't bother but the biscuit was literally raw and doughy. The managers should be fired from their jobs. They don't have any idea about customer service. I don't usually go to this place to do work with my computer, I always get breakfast there and buy something else later. I noticed a lot people do the same even without buying a whole meal and they stay for 2 hours o more with their computers In there. This morning I was there and the manager came to me that I can't stay in the Restaurant for more than 30 minutes is the policy. Ok I understand, the problem is that the managers just went to me to ask me to leave when two tables across me where a Chinese guy who has been in there for two hours with just one coffee. The staff are courteous, take orders accurately, the restaurant is clean and modern. It's a family place, lots of moms/dads with young children, especially in the late afternoon/early evening, so it can be a bit noisy. But remember, it's a fast-food restaurant, not Cipriano's in Manhattan ! The only issue I've ever had was, a single occurrence, with a overly-loud teenager at the next table, who used the F-word every other word. I told him to tone it down, he told me to go ... myself. I asked to speak with the manager, she approached the kid and he ran off. To my surprise, I received a letter from the franchise owner a few weeks later, apologizing for the incident with two free meal vouchers enclosed. This is a well run McD's. Port Chester is heavily Hispanic and is a wonderful community where one can be out at night and feel safe. I am a Rye Brook resident and I love Port Chester. Some of the other comments on this board have disparaged the staff at this restaurant. That is both unfair and inaccurate in its representation of the staff at this McD's location. The medal for mindless idiocy must go to the gentleman who rants about inaccurate order taking in a diatribe that barely seems to approach third grade written English. Another night of working and I really need a coffee. Oh,and I need the bathroom,too. It's 2am and the door to this McDonald's is LOCKED! It's 24 hours,all lit up but the doors are locked. Last time I spoke to the headquarters about this they made it abundantly clear that the doors MUST REMAIN OPENED AND UNLOCKED! So,what is going on here? At the 24hour McDonald's on Post Rd.in Portchester?? Last night the door was locked at 3am. The night before THAT it was 430am due to registers shutting down and rebooting. I ordered on the app with my friends but no where on the app does it say that all the phones have to be at McDonald's in order for your order to be processed. Only one out of the 3 were made because my friend went to go pick up our orders during her break because we all have different breaks so it made sense for only one of us to go. I called and spoke to someone over the phone and I was very unhappy with the service I received. It's usually a good McDonald's. We always use the drive through and have found them - the cashier and pick up employees, to be pleasant and have great customer service, except for tonight. The cashier was pleasant and took my order correctly and when I went to pick up my food at the drive in, the guy gave me my fríes in a separate bag - which was great, and the rest of the food in a bag that was ripped. I checked my order and realized it was fine, but I didn't get sauces or napkins. I asked for sauce - usually they ask you what type you want when ordering and I asked for two types considering I ordered 20 piece nuggets. I asked for it and he gave me one of each, I asked him for another set because I had a 20 piece and he gave me more. Usually the sauce comes in a plastic bag with napkins. His attitude did not impress me at all, as if he did not care. I didn't even bother asking for napkins because he completely turned me off. Oh well. Next time I'll go to Burger King down the street. read more
