Which was described as a spicy chicken cutlet topped with hot slaw and pickles. I also went with their cones instead of fries to give them a shot... First, the sandwich looked lower quality than any fast food chain. I could get a better chicken sandwich at burger King! The bun was smashed and lettuce was wilted. Top it off it was not spicy at all, nor was there any slaw on it. Please look at my picture comparison... Cones were fried puffed potatoes with absolutely zero flavor! I've been to several different Garden Catering locations. This is unquestionably the worst. Every time I get from here, the food is cold and soggy. They definitely don't change the oil they fry everything in often enough, because it always has that gross stank on it. Todays instance of mediocrity was a result of my own laziness. Some of my co-workers prefer this location because it's slightly closer and asked if I wanted them to pick me up something and I foolishly joined in with them. I went with the Home Run (0.5 lb of chicken nuggets, fries, chili, and cheese) while my buddies went with a High School with cheese, a Bad Boy (0.75 lb of chicken nuggets with fries) and a Godfather Home Run Mix (1 lb of chicken nuggets, fries, cones, chili, and cheese). I have only gone to this location once and it was on a trip back North recently. Of course I've frequented the various Greenwich and Stamford locations a bazillion times growing up. But as we had to head over into Port Chester for some quick shopping, there was no way I couldn't stop when I drove past and smelled that beautiful frying smell mixing with seasoning salt. The cones here were better than I imagined. So crispy, so warm, so salty, and then so mushy and smooth inside. Oh My God. There's just something about this place that makes it great! Although I never had there famous chicken nuggets special, I have had and absolutely love the hotsy breakfast sandwich. Its bacon, egg and cheese on roll with chili and either potato cones or home fries. Go with the cones. They're amazing. Their seasoning is great however they can be a lil skimpy when it comes to the seasoning. WARNING: I would suggest going there yourself instead of ordering for delivery. We've ordered about 5 times and each time they forget something (like an order or drinks) or they put no seasoning at all even though we ordered it with it. Last time they also gave us a small order of the nuggets and fries when we ordered the large. After calling to tell them we heard the guy on the phone asking a worker (in spanish) what he gave us and we can hear the worker admit that he made us the small one. The guy on the phone probably thought that we couldn't hear their conversation or assumed that we didnt know spanish (i'm hispanic but obviously u can't tell through the phone and i was speaking in english) and continued to lie to us that they gave us the large... this was the manager by the way who we were talking to. I've eaten there many times so i know the difference between the small and large. I'm sure that even if it was your first time eating there you would know that that wasn't a large. Finally they said that they can refund the difference but we would have to go to the store... then what was the whole point of delivery if we would have to go there anyway?? But what upset me on Sunday 6/23/2019 is that as I was driving to the place I was calling them to place my order just so I can pick up. This place has got me so frustrated every single time I go there there's a new hassle. Last time I went there, actually 2nd to last time I went there; and when I say last time I mean; last time in last time IM EVER going there. I have ordered from garden catering in Port Chester and they have messed up my order many times but I let it slide.Today I order a special, substituted the chicken nuggets with cauliflower nuggets since it gave me an option, I paid $1.12 extra to add mushrooms to my special. I called to see if they could please mix fries with my mushrooms since I already paid and they said I had to pay extra. I already paid for the mushrooms so i don't understand why they would try to charge me extra AGAIN. When my order was delivered to my house, I didn't receive my cauliflower nuggets, instead I received chicken nuggets, specifically ordered cauliflower nuggets because I do not eat chicken. They didn't even bother to call me to say if they even had them or not and when I called back they wouldn't pick up. Also they barely give any sauces.
