The ambiance was one of the"retiree breakfast club" as there were older people having coffee and conversing at the tables. We got our food to go. As soon as I pulled out that sandwich in the car, I knew I had a winner. The biscuit was baked to golden brown perfection with blueberries scattered throughout. In between that sliced biscuit was a sausage patty that was covered in white icing, the kind you get on a cinnamon roll. The biscuit to sausage ratio was perfect as the biscuit did not overwhelm the sausage. When I bit into it, it was the manifestation of what I had hoped for met with just as I had hoped for! The biscuit was flaky and not very sweet (which I really liked) dotted with those blueberries. The sausage patty was fresh and complimented the sweetness of the biscuit and that white icing. I loved the savory/sweet combo. All in all a great breakfast sandwich that I would definitely come back again for.
