Ordered at the window Ranch only snack wraps. Got to the window and they said one ranch one spicy and I said no ordered only two ranch. Please no spicy. She corrected it, and charged me. On the receipt it even says two ranch. They then proceeded to still hand me a spicy snack wrap and ranch. One which I won't eat. read more

We live in an odd age where McDonald's restaurants will offer you either a very traditional experience of walking into a restaurant last renovated in the early 2000's where you order food and then sit down to enjoy it after it is handed to you at a counter. Meanwhile, other McDonald's are now modern with a contemporary look including semi-futuristic looking furniture and lighting. Some of these even have digital kiosks to order in an attempt to provide a more formal dining type of experience. This is latter version is what this McDonald's recently turned into. From a pure decor perspective this McDonald's is great. The exterior is clean and almost futuristic looking. The interior looks more like a modern cafe than a fast food restaurant. In this sense, the restaurant is worth a visit since it is a vision of the future of the franchise. To preface, I recognize a lot of what I write below may not be specific to this branch but rather the chain overall, and in that respect this (or any other) branch cannot help but follow the directives set upon them by the powers that be. When you enter, you are generally guided away from the cashier station and instead employees stand by giant screens to tap in your order and pay. You then grab a buzzer that you leave on the table. The employees use this to bring the food to you. This is the first problem. I order in enough McDonald's in the city to know that a cashier is going to be able to punch in my order and take my payment *much* faster than me hen pecking through awkward menus and trying to figure out where everything is before even getting to payment. I found myself getting frustrated with the menu but both times I have used it I managed to get through it without assistance (though to their credit, the employees are always close by to assist). Then you sit down and you wait. Each time I have done this it felt like I was waiting for my food in Manhattan at rush hour (when crowds practically swarm to fast food joints) instead of being in a mostly empty restaurant on a Sunday morning. The food is brought to you and the employees quickly dash afterward but the whole interaction feels unnecessarily complicated. The other issue is that the menus remove the context of what you are saying. When I order an iced coffee, I (usually) get just that. However the menu had a section for beverages, then coffee...then I saw an option for ice - so I assumed that was for an iced coffee. It was not. Instead it was a hot coffee that they put some ice in (I know, right?). So when I pointed this out to the employee who brought me the food, she had no idea what to do. She took the drink to the manager and instead of getting an iced coffee they...wait for it...poured more ice into my hot coffee. I even told her "You know, iced coffee? In a plastic cup? Like at Starbucks?" and nope, that didn't seem to register. I gave up. For the most part this McDonald's is my back up option for food. I'd much rather go to a diner or some of the more established businesses nearby. This McDonald's and the overall "self order" system has a lot of kinks to work out and I frankly don't have the patience to deal with it when I'm on the run to run my errands. read more

Food always fresh and fast! They also have outstanding deals! Great selection to choose from as well.

This McDonald's is like all others as far as food. The problem with this particular one is that its not a fast food joint anymore. They make you wait curbside now for just about everything. It can sometimes be really inconvenient especially when you're in a rush. Then when they do bring your stuff outside, there are many times where stuff is missing from the order, then you have to get out of the car & go in. It's not fun. However, this McDonald's does what all others do, they serve the same food. read more

Went there for something quick and cheap and ended up spending $15. The guy put my order in wrong and when I questioned him he said that's what I got. And when I got my bags they forgot to give me everything. Would never go here again . read more

Waited in the drive through for 20 minutes. Got a 2 cheeseburger meal with extra pickles. Bite into the one to realize it's literally just pickles and cheese, no meat?? Open the other burger to see there's no pickles at all? Proceed to call the restaurant twice and no one answered. Sucks it's the only one in the area open late, I've had many problems coming here. read more

Its safe to say fast food these days arent so fast. They take forever to get your order out. Staff is socializing, forgetting that your order is ready sitting in front of them. I had to interrupt a conversation just to get my order GIVEN to me. They'll have cars pull over to the side and forget what that person ordered. This happened in front of me and the manager seemed to not care that they had the customer waiting. I don't normally care to give fast food restaurants reviews but this location really pisses me off! read more

So normally I wouldn't rate a fast food place, but I have never had a bad experience at this McDonald's. The staff is so friendly and helpful, I would absolutely compare them to a Chick-Fil-A. Inside is always clean. Oh, and they actually have a McFlurry machine that works. read more

I usually go to this place...who wouldn't, I mean it's McDonald's right? Wrong! I ordered the new Swiss cheese with grilled onions and it just wasn't my cup of tea to say the least...that is not why I am rating this place bad but when I tried to return the burger back, with only one bite, the manager and the cooks in the back where speaking in Spanish, debating whether to give me a regular cheeseburger or not. I'm Mexican but I was born in the U.S. and understand Spanish...I think they thought I didn't because they were obviously arguing...the manager then told me "well, if you didn't like it that's too bad." I've never had any problems until now. My husband then tried getting the 1-800 number and they told him they didn't have one. This place s*cks! read more

Horrible , the manager Ketty needs to be fired or straightened out. She has nasty attitude. And treats her employees in a non professional way. As a formal employee of a McDonald's Ive seen employees treated better. I have family who work here and complain that she doesn't let them take off days that are 2 weeks in advanced and especially when it comes to something important or even religion. My mcdonalds excuses religion and works with the employees schedule as life is important too. Ketty needs to stop acting like a B**** otherwise no one gonna like her. The food here is alright some employees are hard working but they started hiring guys and some look dirty some come to work high or drunk or acting stupid . Hire people who wanna work and Ketty straighten her ass out she needs proper manager training . read more

My experiences at this McDonald's have not ever been satisfying. The people who work there prepare the food like they do not care. The sandwiches are made poorly and the wrappings are loose. The salads are just thrown together. On top of this the people behind the counters are not pleasant, at all. There is one young man in particular that I want to speak about. He works in the mornings and is always NASTY. He will try to short you your correct change. I had to drive back around and go up to the drive through window and tell him that he gave me the wrong change. He sheepishly took the receipt and the money and corrected his "error." I have heard this same man arguing with customers who returned with their orders because he gave them the wrong food at the drive through. I think the whole crew over at the Rahway McDonald's needs a good course in customer service because they do not realize that it is the customer that keeps this kind of business running. OR perhaps they do not care because they are counting on customers that are shoppers traveling along Route 1. Likely they will never return to this McDonald's after the shoddy treatment they get here. read more
