I visited this McDonald's on September 12, 2025. I went through the drive-thru and ordered 2 large mango pineapple smoothies. Upon arrival at the pick up window, the server handed me the smoothies; however, they were only ~3/4 full. I asked the server why they were only ~3/4 full, and she simply said "oh, that's just how the machine makes them". There was no concern nor any attempt made to resolve the issue. I was caught off-guard by this response. I contemplated going into the store to discuss with a manager; however, I didn't have extra time to hang around to do that, so I left disappointed and feeling cheated. I frequently order these smoothies from various McDonald's, so I know first hand what they should look like. If there is a problem with their smoothie machine, they should lower the price of their smoothies or change the cup size. How they are currently serving these smoothies at that McDonald's is a complete rip off! read more

Didn't put cheese on my kids burger in all 3 Happy Meals (the kids said they're Sad Meals now). Upgraded to large fries with my double quarter pounder meal but was given small. Plus the drive thru worker (Katelyn) was rude. read more

I was running late to school today, so I had to stop and get something to eat instead of fixing my breakfast. I knew this place was open at the time versus the other places, so that was my decision to stop here. When I pulled into the parking lot, the drive-thru was wrapped around the building, so I got out the car and went inside. There was nobody inside, so I placed my order. The cashier was friendly, and the speed of service was mediocre considering I was just ordering standard items, and nothing special. The food was hot when I ate it. There is also a playground at this location for the little ankle biters. And if you don't want anything from the playground, just cross over the double doors, and you will be in a Fiddle Stix gas station. Since McDonald's is on the corner at the stoplight, access to it is unhampered both in and out. read more

Egg McMuffins were cold, one or two might have been barely warm but I think that was from my seat warmers... the bread for the McMuffins were ridiculously stale. Very disappointed. This location has been slipping for awhile but now it is just gross. The last few visits the food has been horrible and a waste of money. I would not recommend anyone go here. I usually pride McDonalds on its organizational skills in the art of fast food. However, this location fails this art on all points. A typical afternoon at this McDonalds is loaded with kitchen help. However, ill trained staff that fail to either pay attention to the computer monitor or simply do not understand food services repeatedly mess up simple orders. A simple 1/4 Lb cheese meal took nearly 20 minutes to create (with no customers waiting inside). When I received my meal I was expecting it to be hot. It was not hot at all. Other customers could be observed coming inside to complain about their incorrect or substandard orders. I doubt I will ever return to this particular McDonalds based on its bad service and food quality. If you want a better fast food meal. Perhaps visit across the street to Hardees. read more

From what I have heard about this location expectations were low but the people really blew me away. The food came out fast and was hot. The people were really nice which can be difficult during stressful times with everything shutting down. I use the mobile app to order food under a friends account. So being that the name for the account is male the woman was looking for a male customer. Not many people think ahead like that in workplaces such as McDonald's so I was amazed. This woman also remembered that I was the one who picked up the mobile order. Maybe I go to McDonald's too much but this lady deserves credit for her customer service skills. This has to be the worst McDonald's I've been too! For one I used the curbside option. They lied and marked my food was handed to me. I waited 6 mins outside nothing or one came so I figured they were busy and short staff so I came inside to simple just pick my food up. All of the employees looked at me but didn't acknowledge me or ask if I needed anything. So mind you a customer came and and they walked pasted me to take there orders I almost lost my cool. I had to order boxed coffee for a work event one morning and for some reason it was not an available option on the app so I called to make sure that they even served the box coffee. A hispanic woman answered the first time I called and after I gave her the run down she said "Sorry - No English" and hung up on me. I called again and this time the woman took the phone off of the hook. I heard her answer my second call and I heard the phone drop down on the table. After calling a few more times a different woman finally answered and told me "Sorry - No English" AND HUNG UP. It was even worse when I was finally able to order the coffee through the app and pick it up. I was told my order would take 5mins, but I watched as these workers would walk past me, make eye contact, and say NOTHING while I waited for almost 30mins for just two boxes of coffee. Other people who were waiting with no help were asking me how long I had been there and if it was worth the wait. I watched the woman look at my ticket over and over and say or do nothing until finally I said something to her and she looked at me like I was stupid. The manager seems nice, but she was dancing around the back of the store in a black puffer jacket acting like there weren't people up front who could see her jumping around as if she had no common sense. She did this the entire time I was there. The only time I saw her help was when I asked to speak with her. really needs to teach her employees some halfway decent customer service skills or hire some new staff who can get their job done properly. read more

This McDonald's is the worst one in my surrounding area. I live very close to this one but will drive to Timber Dr. or the one in Fuquay Varina. It is obvious that either the kids/young adults hired there aren't trained correctly or they just aren't the smartest ones in their class. My orders, when I did go there, were constantly incorrect. The food did not taste the same as other McDonald's. The drive-thru lines are extremely long. Overall, I would suggest going to another one. The management staff needs to be replaced. I finally, after going there many times before, have decided to file a complaint at the McDonald's Headquarters. The corporate office deserves to know how poor of quality this restaurant is operating at. read more

This location recently remodeled and reopened. I had some hope it would be better than it was prior to it's temporary closing. I went there today for lunch. I was told their frappe machine isn't working (new frozen coffee and new frappe that is prominently advertised on menu are therefore not available). The line moves slowly. Despite both the cashier and the girl at the pickup window correctly verbally confirming my order...I got the wrong order and had to go back. As I was trying to explain that I was just there, the person on the speaker argued with me and said I had not just been there because he just saw me pull up. The manager did make my order right. But a simple "we're sorry for that mixup"would have been nice. And a little less hostility over the speaker will also help. The building looks nice but the customer care leaves a bad taste. read more

this Mcdonald's is always slow, our order is always wrong and the staff are usually quite rude. It's the closest place to my house and easy to go to, until the remodel. Now it's much faster and better to go farther away to a better location. McDonalds, you must get it together. If you can't do it fast and you can't do it hot, just don't. I pulled up second in line at the order board. They ordered and pulled up and then I ordered. Then I proceeded to sit in the drive thru THIRTEEN minutes. To be fair, I'm the one that was being lazy and chose "fast food", but to be honest I could have cooked a meal in that amount of time. Not a lasagna or anything, but yeah something. Then blasphemy. When I did finally get to the last window of expediency and efficiency, I got my order and drove away and lo and behold my little deep fried cuts of Idahoan amazingness were barely warm. I do not recommend this location at all. 1. The service is by far the slowest I have ever experienced in my life. It doesn't matter if it's inside or drive through. I pulled up at the drive through and waited 10min for someone to speak to take my order which never happened. 2. On several occasions I had ordered a Large Iced Macchiato and it was given to me in a Medium cup then when I went back to correct the mistake they literally poured what they gave me into the large cup then handed it back to me. 3. Again I order a Large Iced Macchiato and a plain burger. The bun on the burger was crispy burnt and to top it off one of the workers said to me "please wait I'll be making your coffee" then moments later she goes around asking her colleagues if anyone has made it. They reply "I don't know how to make it" the girl then replied back "neither do I". Then the girl came back to me and said the machine is down would you like something else in exchange? Yes I would. Not to be lied to. I would have much rather been told they no one knows how to make it than being lied to. read more

This location needs some serious help and coordination. I came through here about 6:25 pm this evening and there were 2 cars in Lane 1, so I pulled into the empty Lane 2. I was asked to hold. After Lane 1 took 3 orders I started asking for help. After Lane 1 helped the 4th car I got annoyed. I was finally helped. We ordered the Dinner Box. No joke. It came with 2 Hamburgers wrapped in Cheeseburger paper with no cheese. The burgers were crunchy, as they'd been severely burnt. The Big Macs were cooked equally well done and only 1 had cheese. There were NO chicken nuggets given with the meal. Mind you there were no special orders or substitutes. I would be made regardless, but my teenager paid and was ripped off for food not worth eating and for something he didn't receive. Get some training or better management! read more

Horrible, I went parked outside and started to head in when I tried to open the door but it was locked. Another customer had to open the door for me. I got in and immediately they started to give me bad looks to the point where one of the employees tells me the lobby is closed (during the middle of the afternoon), ok it isn't a big deal I go into the parking lot place a mobile order and head to the drive thru, it takes them 6 mins for them to even acknowledge that I was there, and even then they told me to wait because they were short-staffed, I get it I also work at a different fast food restaurant. Once I am able to tell them my mobile order code they tell me to pull to the first window, but NO ONE is there I pull to the second window and I see some guy on his phone, completely unbelievable. They still had the audacity to ask me to pull forward which I was awarded with cold food and missing 3 sandwiches. 3!!! read more

Lousy management. They just don't seem to care. They act like they are doing you a favor to wait on you. Stopped carrying Splenda for unsweetened tea. Most of the team is usually rude, I guess following the same attitude of the management team. Nicole seems to be the only caring and friendly person who works here.
