This is your average Wendys with the food that they sell, but let me say, the staff here was very friendly, and the food was fresher. I am not a person that goes out to fast food places often, so I have to figure out what they sell that I want each time. I ended up getting a chicken nugget combo with a side salad and fruit punch to drink. The manager was really nice while taking the order, and I think she was training this new girl. When the new girl went over to get the salad from the fridge, I was asked what type of salad dressing. Buy, you know me, I had no clue as to what they sold, so I asked what did they offer. This is where it got good. The new girl, while standing there with the fridge door open, did that Vanna White modeling thing where she posed and pointed to the different salad dressings as the manager named them off. I thought that was very creative. That goes to show that not every task has to be mundane, and it can be spiced up to make your day go faster, and the customer smile. I smiled because I had never seen anybody do that, at a fast food place that is. And if you are wondering why I did not give them 5-yelps, even though the service was on point, and made my day a tad bit more interesting, the salad appeared to have been made the day before by the condition of the lettuce. And yes, I know that this is standard practice to keep salad in the fridge for 3 days before you toss it, and the whole FIFO (First in, First Out) rule, but I still like my salad made the same day. read more

This Wendy's is TERRIBLE. Wait times for the drive thru regularly surpass 10 minutes even when there are only 3-4 cars ahead of you, 4-5 employees are always seen hanging around inside goofing with each other and sitting on their phones, food is often cold and orders are nearly always wrong in some capacity. If you own this establishment I think it's time for a new manager and some hands on work to right the ship! It's a local joke how bad this place is. read more

We waited at the speaker for 5 mins or so with no response & so we asked if they were taking orders. They then yelled into the speaker. So we also pulled out to park & went inside to order. The employees were talking with each other & did not acknowledge the customer that had to park & come in, nor did they acknowledge us after we sat there & waited for our order to be taken. They had several people walk in & walk out of the store & cars leave the line bc they were not being acknowledged. This is not the 1st time this has happened at this location. Took my family to your Wendy's at 8050 TEN-TEN ROAD, Raleigh NC .... Drive thru was open but inside was closed @630 PM on a Sunday.... This is the 3rd time this has happened...... Totally ridiculous! ... We then drove down the road to 4510 Fayetteville RD, Raleigh NC..... There were 5 large bags of trash sitting at the front door (Still there when we left) and the place was nasty.... Most of the tables were dirty and the bathroom needed to be cleaned.... For this visit ONLY usually it is a one star. This restaurant is extremely hit or miss with today being a hit!!!! I ordered my food delivery from Doordash. The manager working and the staff that prepared and bagged my order on 3/20/21 at 1:00 pm need to train all the other staff to be as efficient and caring as they were. My food was 100% accurate, warm, fresh and all my special instructions were followed!!! Hate to say it but this is the exception not the standard at this particular restaurant. Love to enjoy the breakfast and lunch menu but at this location I only order if I have a coupon!! Such a shame there is no training follow up or guidance to make this location a consistent 5 star restaurant. I'm sitting in the drive-thru at 9:45 watching two cars in front of me not order and drive off. We got to the order screen and waited for 5 mins for someone to take our order. During this time I called the restaurant to make sure they were open (it said they were online). No answer the lady in front of us had finally pulled off after starring at the workers inside ignoring her at the window. We drove off and the two cars behind us did as well. That's a loss of 5 orders and I will not return to this Wendy's. I work in the service industry and understand they were about to close but ignoring customers nis not acceptable. I've given this Wendy's to many chances and tonight will be my last visit! Every time I get my food here it is stale! Nothing fresh about it! They just had a remodel not to long ago and I thought it would improve but it hasn't. Buns are never fresh, fries taste like they've sat for too long and are always cold. The restaurant itself is dirty! Counters are a mess, food in the floor, etc. Do yourself a favor and drive another 6 miles up to the new Wendy's off Fayetteville Road in front of the WalMart and enjoy what Wendy's quality is suppose to taste like! food is okay for fast food, but not hot as it should be at 1 pm. However, they may have been training a new girl at the drivethru because my card was charged 3 bucks extra. I ordered just the sandwich, got just the sandwich but was charged for the whole meal. They did not give me a receipt to dispute this at the window but something made me check my bank statement when I got home and sure enough, they overcharged me.
