This used to be my GO TO sub spot... I became a big fan of them last year. But the last two visits in recent weeks have been disappointing. I love the Chicken Bacon Ranch sub, but for some reason, the last 2 times, they forgot the lettuce and tomato. The sign/menus say it comes with lettuce and tomato, yet TWO different times, they forgot it. How or why, I will never know. Disappointing JM, get your act together! The bread is still good, as are the ingredients I did get, but three stars today due to a lack of omission on multiple occasions! My only fault is not checking the sub before I leave. You get tired of eating at the only place on campus (Subway) so you decide to venture out into the world to a strange a new place. Today's voyage was to... Jersey Mike's. I know you might say, it is just another sub shop, but come on, Subway is the only place to eat on campus at Wake Tech, which bites. Now back to the story. Jersey Mike's is in a nice little shopping center right near an intersection, so the access is fairly easy. We ordered two subs, a Steak 'n Cheese, and the Italian. The Italian was fresh, and crisp. The bread was light. I guess my thing with that sandwich was, once you eat an Italian at Penn-Station East Coast Subs, you compare everything else to it, and it didn't even come close to the same rich flavor, taste, and quantity of meat. We all know we light a pile of meat on our sandwiches. Next comes the Steak. Well, they messed up making it, so toppings had to be picked off, which ruined the enjoyment. In the final wrap up, get it, wrap up as in sandwich shop. You are one tough crowd. They get three yelps up for, well, hmmm. Ok, I took one down because they messed up on the Steak, and one more was removed because with every bite, I wished it was a Penn-Station sub. read more

On, May 24, 2023, approximately between 5:30 PM but less than 5:45 PM, I placed an order. Somehow I missed placed my receipt, which would have had the exact time, of my order, On this day, when the person addresses me, I stated my choice of bread, but I realized the person waiting to complete my sandwich, there was no clean sheet of paper to place the bread on. But the shocker, after my choice of bread was chosen, part of the bread was tossed on the counter to the other person. At this time the piece of bread was picked up and placed on a white cutting board which had no clean sheet of paper while the sandwich was being made, Once the sandwich was completed, the sandwich again was place back on the counter, near the register. But, then all of a sudden the person which completed my sandwich, I guess realized he had to wrapped the sandwich, just before the other person (which was the same person which tossed my bread on the counter from the start) is now at the register, which tells me the amount due. I had stopped coming here, I think around Dec 2022 or Jan 2023, due to a similar situation from one of the original workers which was there. I just had no energy to say anything or debate on this poor and somewhat impertinent service. But, a review "may" or "will" get some attention. Personally, just for me, I will never ever eat there again, to be subjected to this type of service, once again.. I differently understand, in this life people energy may not always mesh, but, professionalism should be a number one priority. Never ever should a worker in the food industry, place food on a counter with no protection from germs that can be left behind. And, this only takes a second, to simply place a clean sheet of paper, underneath the customers sandwich, which may help the safety of your customers. Placed or order to be picked up at 1:07, got there at 1:05. Got home and clearly our order sat there for a while. The bread on my wife's sub was soaked and not appetizing at all. My "hot" sub was ice cold, literally. It was not even warm in the slightest. This is the second time I've done a time delay order, last time it was done over 15 minutes early. Both of those were cold subs without oil or vinegar, so it wasn't too big of an issue. But today, both weren't good at all. It'll be a long time before we return, if ever. read more

I've been to this location numerous times. I've always been satisfied until the last two visits. The last two times I went to this location there were flies all over the food prep area and meat slicer! The first time I noticed the files, I went ahead and ordered anyway. The sandwich tasted fine however later on I had a stomach ache. After this experience I wrote about this to Jersey Mikes via their website. I got no response from Jersey Mikes at all. Needless to say, I went back almost a month later to the same location and they still had flies everywhere. I did not order anything and I don't intend on ordering again at this location until the problem is resolved. Lets face it Jersey Mikes charges a premium for their subs and normally the quality of the food justifies the price. However after paying a premium I do not want flies on my food! read more
