This is the most horrible McDonalds I've ever been to. You would think that at night with less customers and nothing hectic going on workers would be able to perform more efficiently and accurately. EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME i go there THEY MESS MY ORDER UP, not even slightly (i.e. wrong size fries) no MORE LIKE FORGETTING A WHOLE COMBO MEAL AND SUNDAE AFTER TEN MINUTES OF SITTING AT THE WINDOW, you'd think that was enough time.. GUESS AGAIN! This has happened so often and this is my breaking point. Not to mention the time we decided to go inside to avoid a slow NIGHT drive thru"rush" and never once were acknowledged. If you want to see why McDonald's is getting killed by its competitors look no farther than this place. If you want to witness a manager arguing with an employee in front of customers, employees that appear to not know what they are doing, a complete disregard for getting an order right, and service at a snail's pace than this McDonald's is for you. If the service is slow you would expect them to at least get your order right. The person who brought my order to the counter completely forgot my drinks. The employee making fries probably had enough made for the next hour, but continued to make them. The fries also tasted like they were out there for an hour. Beautiful new renovation. We've been going to this McDonalds for twenty years or so every week. Over the years, it became pretty run down and shabby looking. It was sorely in need of renovation. It was closed for two months for renovation and is now re-opened and looks great. You order at kiosks and they bring the food to your table if you are dining in. Plenty of power outlets for laptops. Been there three times since it has reopened and both the food and service has been great. read more

Always seem to get my order for a plain cheeseburger incorrect. Occurred again this afternoon, so I had to drive back to exchange it. And then get this. Got the order incorrect again. Wasn't really busy at all, so not sure what the disconnect was. Seems like the service has fallen off. Not sure if they are under new management? No apology from the manager. I'm so shocked to see the low ratings on this McDonalds!! This is the most efficient, fastest and best McDonalds I've seen so far in the area. No matter how crazy busy they get in the morning and the lunch rush, they are fast with the orders, they have a system they follow and it works! They do say "Thank you come again" and it seems like all of them say that!! .... that's good enough for me. This is what FAST FOOD should be everywhere. This morning I drive there and it's 23degress with the wind that will freeze your nostrils -- they have 3 workers outside serving us out in the cold. I feel for them. I love how they are dedicated to serve us, working folks who are always in a rush to get to work. They definitely value great customer service and satisfaction. They don't makes alot of mistakes on orders either. I have been to the McDonalds near my house (Centreville) and it's the worst drive-thru -- i mean, expect to be late to work, it will hold u back about 15min because they are soooooo slow. I've been coming to McDonald's every morning for 4 months to pick up vanilla iced coffee. But today, i picked up two and they both tasted expired, bitter, and had no vanilla. I called management to complain and the manager hung up on me and clearly didn't care about my complaint. I am unsure if I will be stopping at this location again, because of their POOR customer service. I am only giving this location 2 stars because the vanilla iced coffee is very good even though they got my very simple order wrong. Update: McDonalds has continued to get my order wrong every time. 5 stars for this McDonalds location. They have people who stand outside and take your order and collect money. It is the fastest drive through I've ever seen! So easy if you want a quick dessert or are in a rush but are hungry. One time they messed up my order and then gave me free desserts! Yum! I already loved this place so I wasn't upset with the easy mess up (I mean one mess up out of about 100 times isn't bad)... so the dessert on top of that was a nice bonus and a nice way to say sorry. read more

I am new to VA and was surprised to see employees out on the parking lot serving people in line for the drive in window. The line was long--today was Saturday, and it was noon. Outdoor order-taking is unusual for a McDonald's in PA where I come from, even on a busy weekend. Here's how it worked. One employee came over and took my order at my window, and another one came out later and took my money. Both were polite, but there was no explanation offered for this unusual point-of-delivery service, and no sign posted about what the customer was supposed to do. I almost didn't get my change back--although I did receive it when I reminded the cashier while on the run. I understand that outdoor "employee stations" make the line go faster, but at first I feared there was a breakdown of their computer system. I wish the first order-taker had explained that I was expected to pay the second one on the parking lot--not at the window, but to her directly. They were not wearing McDonald's insignia. I am a regular at this McDonald's and there have been several instances where I've come through the drive thru and ordered either a medium or large frappe and had it filled to the capacity of the smaller size drink (medium to a small, large to a medium) I have brought it in and brought it to the attention of the staff when this happens which is very inconvenient as I choose the drive thru for a reason. I don't know if the measurements are wrong or if they're trying to stretch the product but if I am being charged for a large I expect my drink to be filled as a large. Every time this happens I tell myself I will not be back. But this was the last straw. I simply don't understand how anyone would be ok with paying for something and not receiving what it is they payed for. Especially after multiple instances... it's not a "one off." read more

We love McDonald's breakfast, so we came to enjoy it for Father's Day as a quick drop by. Needless to say, it was not a fun experience as the manager of the store raised her voice at me when I inquired about an expired parfait. The parfait we were given said "enjoy by 3:59 AM / 6/18/17." We came for breakfast around 9 AM. We know it's probably safe to consume, but my younger sister is scared of expired food and I simply went up to ask for another one. After receiving the second one, I checked the stamp at the bottom only to see that it was the same as the one we were given. So I asked the manager for one that was not expired, and she went on a tirade about how that was when they made the parfaits, with a raised and angry voice. Clearly, it states "enjoy by" not "made at." Needless to say, it was an easy fix and something that could've been handled better by the manager. Reviewing a McDonalds sounds crazy right? But I go through this drive through about once a week. It is the fastest McDonalds I have every been too! The works for the drive through are outside going car to car for ordering and payment. Even if there is a line, do not worry it will go super fast. My disclaimer: I have never been inside so I have no idea how that is. I read the other reviews, I'm not sure if they do say thank you, but I'm going through a fast food drive through they are polite enough, and I do not want to chit chat at a drive though. If I wanted to talk to food service employee I would go to a nice sit down place or a bar. They are not rude and it is fast. read more

My boyfriend and I were trying to purchase a sweet tea with half of it filled with lemonade, yet that simple request was rejected. And for what reason? Are you too lazy to fill it with lemonade? My boyfriend works at a mcdonalds and he even said they could do it if the customer asks, plus it wouldn't make a price difference since all soft drinks of all sizes are only a dollar. After my exercise session at the Sports and Health club in Issac Newton Sq.I usually went thru the drive thru and got a large decaf coffee. They have had a promotion for coffee any size for $1.00 it seems forever. There is a huge sign proclaiming the $1.00 price for any size coffee right before you place your order. Three times this week the clerk tried to overcharge me. The first two times the ",manager" intervened and assured me that the price was still $1.00. Tonight, I refused to bother with the "manager". I waved to the "manager" as I pulled out without getting my coffee. I'm enjoying a freshly brewed decaff coffee at home while saving aggravation and money. So long McD's. One really good deal at McDonald's is the McDouble. The McDouble is on the dollar menu, and is a good portioned cheeseburger with onions, pickles, and ketchup. Also, it is probably my favorite meal at McDonald's because it is such a great deal. Just over a dollar, one is good for a snack, and a few will fill you up at lunch, for less out of your pocket. I think it tastes great and despite not having lettuce or being quite as large as the other burgers, it still is satisfying. In my opinion, 2 McDoubles fill you up the same as 1 BigMac does. The catch, 2 McDoubles are about 2 dollars, while 1 BigMac is about 4 dollars. Same satisfaction, half the price. read more

I usually go to this McDonald's in the afternoon for an ice cream or iced coffee break. It's close to work and that's a big reason why I go back. Last week, I went inside and ordered 2 hot fudge sundaes and the guy starts putting the ice cream into cones? I explained that it needed to be in a cup so he just put the soft serve ice cream in 2 cups without any sauce so where's the hot fudge I asked him? He grabbed them and put the sauce on one and then just stuck them in a bag and went out back. He was really rude and seemed like this complicated order was stressing him out. I gave up and just left. There's a few workers that have problems with English and can be really rude when you don't order a number 1 or 2. If your not in a hurry these days you will like this McDonalds. Their drive through will take you 10 to 15 minutes to get through, for they have hired a bunch of new people and they have them on the drive through during the busiest times of the morning. They do not have cars pull forward to the waiting area when they are making something that will take longer than usual. Been going to this location for a year. Never got my order wrong, never short changed me, never had a long wait. BUTTTTTTT, they can't get the french fries right. Either they are too hard, medium warm, or no salt at all. I mean come on isn't someone suppose to man the Fryer and that is what they do all day. Be consistant on that part of the meal and just maybe I will come back to this site and up the score. Lastly a couple of the ladies there think they are all that and act a little SNOOTY when you offer a simple compliment. This is the most organized McDonalds' there is...they seem overstaffed. They always have 2-3 people taking orders, taking your money outside at the drive thru and rarely ar emy orders wrong . While no one should expect their order to be wrong, I DO at fast food places in this area because NO ONE speaks english. My one complaint is that i drove thru 3 times in January to get a COLD MOCHA. The third time, I got mad enough to drive back around to return it and they shortchanged my refund and told me the machine has been broken. My question is, "if the machine is broken, why are you still selling them and at least not informing people that the HOT MOCHA'S will be COLD. No one wants a cold hot drink. Went this afternoon for a snack after my daughters basketball game around 4pm and won't be back. We pulled up to the speaker to order and she said "What would you like?" Not welcome to McDonalds how can I help you or something nice. We pulled to pay, she took my card and as the window is closing she mumbled something. We ordered an ice cream cone and a couple hash browns - daughters favorite. They made the ice cream and it sat there until finally I waved my hands to someone and she handed it to us and said this isn't my area - window closed. No one there.... Finally a lady came to the window and said pull into number 2 and pointed. We pulled into the spot and waited and waited unit my daughter had almost finished her ice cream. A different lady came out with our hash browns and said her you go. They could have cared less if we were customers or not.
