Breakfast at McDonald's is something that I've enjoyed since I was a little kid and once and a while I like to come back for some hot cakes, sausage, and those delicious hash browns. Waking up in the small town of Richfield didn't leave me with many breakfast options so luckily we drove by this McDonald's before leaving town. Like I just said like two sentences ago, I ordered the hot cakes and sausage breakfast platter with a hash brown on the side and it did the job it needed to do. The hash brown was crispy and good, the hot cakes were.....well, hot cakes, and the sausage was pretty standard for a McDonald's sausage. Overall, McDonald's breakfast is what it is. It's not winning any awards but the food is alright and the same can be said for the service. When in Richfield, this isn't a terrible option. read more

I'm a doordasher and after waiting in the lobby for 10 min, I asked where the order was. They didn't have it, because they cleared it, so I had to give it to them again. The cooks were singing the Spongebob song loudly. One employee named Michael was itching his junk and helping prepare the food. May I also add that he was not wearing gloves. They were throwing empty boxes all over the place and using profanity loudly despite there being families in the restaurant. I finally got the order after 32 minutes but they put it in a regular dine in bag. I had to ask them to seal it up in a doordash bag. The management was decent and apologetic but every single cook should be terminated. Very unprofessional. read more

I live here. It's not that the food was bad, the service was bad pe se. I'm actually writing this out of frustration and because of the danger to employees. It is currently 26 degrees, and there is slick ice on the Asphalt. At roughly 7:45, with no one in the drive through line, I was told the standard, we're waiting on fries "Please pull into slot A". Normally, totally fine. I get it. We got to keep the line moving. I know exactly what that was like. Unfortunately, I draw the line at doing so at the pointless risk of making an employee walk to slot A or B, in freezing temperatures, when no other people are waiting on food, with black ice on the ground. The reason they gave me to keep pulling forward was that "sorry, we're short staffed, can you please just pull forward?" I'm uncertain the logic behind that, as if an employee slips on the ice and files workman's compensation for cracking their head open on a slick asphalt would certainly leave them short staffed. I didn't put up a fuss, I just pulled forward. But, while I doubt McDonalds probably doesn't care about what I think, I at least won't patron a place that has a policy insistent on dangerous policies that could harm the employees. I did my hell time in customer service; I won't risk others to be harmed--because you or this franchise rules insist more on efficiency then safety. Not every customer is attempting to argue when they bring up a point to your employees, sometimes I just don't want someone getting hurt. Perhaps they just get it so often from horrific customers, that they simply just repeat what they say and it's not worth it to put up a fuss. We went to go get some good food and refreshing drinks after practice we go in the drive through it takes forever than order go to at the second window and we got our food and forgot to order an ice cream cone and right as we get there we get death glared and mean mugged we ask for ice cream and she hands our food and keeps being mean and slamming the window she was mad. Terrible wait time in our line that was so much slower than the other line, about a 15 min wait. The cashier did apologize for the wait but then the order we got charged for was incorrect. We weren't read back or told the order we were getting charged for. We found this out once pulling ahead and looking at the receipt. We told what looked to be the manager handing the food. She had to refund the order to charge it again however we had used a $2 off coupon which she did not apply to the order. We told her this and she did apologize but she didnt know what to do then so I told her to forget it. We were not offered anything for all this mess. This is why McDonald's is the last choice to go to and only came here because the other fast foods were closed already. I can see by the 2 stars the service here is severely lacking. While McDonalds tries to make things consistent, there is still a huge variance from on to the other. In this case, the variance was the food. We ordered from their all day breakfast menu and what a mistake. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit was stale and hard. It was sitting there way too long. The other weird thing was the drinks offered at the drive thru. Tried to order lemonade but was told they only had that inside. We could get a powered fruit drink at the DT or if we wanted lemonade, they would give us a cup and we could come inside and get it. That was a totally unexpected response. read more

Their burger are really not the greatest in fact I picture then to be fake burgers. I do like their Big Mac's only because of the lettuce, cheese and sauce. Though I do not have they very often, maybe a couple times a year. I feel their prices for the burgers and meals are over prices considering the poor quality of the burger. Though the kids do love them. I personally refrain from eating there. Along with this their customer service sucks. every year, twice a year for the past 3 years, my dad and i drive from california to colorado when i start and end my year at college. throughout the years, we have found a bunch of shitty rest stops and have really seen the WORST. one of the things we like doing is reading all of the overly exaggerated reviews of fast food chains, which this particular McDonalds does not lack. First and foremost, this McDonalds is EXACTLY how it is: a fast food place. If you're expecting stellar service or to be treated nicely, you're already asking too much. However, the employees today were very nice and helpful! They made sure we had everything and when I had to go back in to ask for salt, they were having a hard time finding it and they tracked some salt packs down for me! It's also worth noting that there is a small trophy-like statue in their dessert case that reads "RICHFIELD MOST IMPROVED". Judging on this McDonald's past reviews, I'd say they made quite the improvement. I couldn't tell if these reviews were just over-the-top or if they actually fixed the issues they were having! Overall: It's a McDonalds in a rural part of Utah. It's you're fault for thinking the workers will treat you like it's a Michelin-star restaurant. Still, they were really nice! This location appears to be a new remodel or construction. The food and service was good. They had a clean play place which my boy enjoyed. The bathroom had a diaper changing station with sanitary napkin covers, (in the men's room). This is a great place for family's to stop on a road trip. read more

I will never, ever go here again. Yesterday I entered the store at 1:38 and ordered 2 large coffees. There was only one other customer in line and they were behind me. The crew wasn't busy with the drive through window either, there was only one car waiting. To make a long story short, I didn't get my coffees until THIRTY ONE MINUTES LATER. Three times I politely reminded the two girls behind the counter about my coffee. Neither were rude, but both were obviously incompetent and just stood around ineptly not getting my coffees. I became so exasperated I wanted to scream, and I am usually calm. I don't know what the problem was, but waiting a half an hour for 2 large coffees is simply unacceptable, especially when the place was empty of customers. The morning of 3/5/2023 my mother and I came through the drive through, it took 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there, when they did acknowledge our existence the lady was short, rude, and snappy. It was a simple order, breakfast sandwich, hash brown and 2 drinks. When we finally pulled up to the window we could see the bag I was later handed sitting by the window. It took another 5 minutes before the lady ,who took the order, came over for payment, (I just recently found out she was a manager during our later exchange) and handed me the food. I felt it and it was cold from sitting there. She then argued that she just made the bag, said have a nice day, and shut the window in our faces, when I looked back as we left the line she continued to say rude things in our direction as we left (I saw her through the window). So we pulled around and I went in. I told her my food was cold and I would like it remade. She then argued with me some more about how she just made the bag and it only sat there because she had to run my card twice. I don't think she understood that we can see through the window and know that wasn't true. She also claimed it was just her and 1 other person there, which was also not true because there were at least another 3 in the back when I went in. The only redeeming feature about our visit was the kind lady cooking the food who took it upon herself to remake my food and bring it to me while the manager was calling me a liar and screaming at me from behind the counter. Over a breakfast sandwich and a hash brown. Maybe if you offered a better wage you would get quality management who knows how to be civil to people and you wouldn't be "understaffed" as she claimed. If you are concerned about Covid safety measures, skip this McDonald's. It was shocking, even by Utah standards, to see nearly all employees wearing their masks below their chins while preparing food and interacting with customers. The customer in front of me was just as surprised and said, "I'm really nervous being in here." I expect some customers will just walk out and choose to eat elsewhere. Ownership and management really need to step up and enforce mask wearing among the staff. read more

This is hit or miss on what kind of service you are going to get at the counter. Sometimes they are very kind, on the spot and knowledgeable. Sometimes you can't get their attention because they are to busy talking amongst themselves and laughing. Like most McDonalds, the ice cream machine is 60% of the time out of order. It's obvious that the kids play land area is in desperate need of a deep clean and sterilization. Restrooms are usually clean. Tables are hit or miss on finding a clean one available. Trash cans are always full. I even witnessed two employees joking about trying to see how full they could get it as they were smashing the trash down with a metal rod. Food has never had an issue. This place was beyond disgusting!! Trash on table tops, floors, trash cans overfilled and bathrooms were lacking toilet paper and had pee all over the floor. There were only a handful of customers in the store and 5 employees socializing, on their phones and lounging all over each other in the booths. Had a crispy chicken sandwich and it was undercooked. Walls and doors had finger prints all over them and even the lid dispenser to the sodas hadn't been cleaned since it was installed. Stay away! So incredibly gross! This location was the worst McDonalds I've ever been too. We ordered online and went inside to pick up our order and was ignored. We asked for help from the young lady with red/orange hair packing orders and she ignored us and walked away. No one would give us service and when the gentleman who was making burgers in the back noticed he came up to help. Thankfully after 20 minutes waiting in the lobby without being greeted this young man was very helpful. The lady waiting in the lobby next to us was verbally upset and had the same issue. Not open at 11pm, even though hours say open 24hrs, but Employees were all out smoking by the dumpsters, they offered to give me leftovers that aren't "too nasty" when I asked them what they had they didn't even know.
